Since my flyers are out I have been hoping the kings make a good run again for obvious reasons.
Although I do worry their speed might be an issue against Chicago.
I fucking hate Montreal and the Pens so I hope Boston can get by both teams. Two big, rough and dirty teams in the final would be epic

^ I hate the red sox and patriots enough that I'm afraid it may have carried over to the bruins. I don't mind Philly, got to love what Schenn and Simmonds are doing.
Honestly all the remaining playoff teams can die in a fire, but if somehow the Kings didn't advance, I wouldn't mind seeing Minny win.

This playoffs has been amazing so far. The match ups have been spot on, so many game 7's in the first round.
It would be nice to see the ducks take a cup, Getzlaf deserves one.
I just like seeing the Habs in their element as well. That city is ground zero for hockey.

If I had a chance to start an all time great hockey team who would be on it?
I'm talking guys who played from 1990 to now

Kings, I am just trolling a little bit. I recognize the ducks are good. And I was a fan since the late 80s so I don't want to hear any bandwagon shit, I took the bus to and from games in Inglewood in the mid-90s when they were fucking awful and losing games 5-0, and Emilio estevez didn't even do that shitty children's movie yet.
Minny I am not worried about, the Kings or Ducks will crush them. But Chicago is a good team.

Shitty Children's movie?!^ The Mighty Ducks was the beginning of hockey for me!
By geographical location I'm supposed to be an Oilers fan, but we can forget about that. I'm a Ducks fan after that performance by John Gibson on Saturday, and shamefully am a Toronto fan, but here's another year without a playoff birth.

What is this faggot shit, I had the start of the skills competition on and for whatever reason they are including chicks this year. They let some blondie from USA hockey skate and everyone praised her and then afterwords she said that "what men can do women can do equally as well" something like that.

CBC headline "McDavid wins fastest skater but women's star Coyne Schofield steals show", she was pretty fast, faster than a lot of plugs in the NHL but regardless she shouldn't have been there.
IIRC it was Nathan MacKinnon saying something on live tv like it will put a lot of pressure on the guys and they will be embarrassed if they lose to her, he will probably have to apologize for this.

Whatever, it's BS all star weekend, who the hell cares. Next week, the season will resume and the chick won't get anywhere near the NHL ice. Any predictions for the second half? Race looks wide open right now. Other than the Lightning, there's a bunch of good teams in the east. West is weaker but Calgary looks really strong. Hoping the Blackhawks end up with the No.1 pick in the draft to get everyone triggered.

It's pretty wide open this year for sure. Winnepeg is built for a long run but yeah I'm not sure about Hellebuyck. He's their weak link. San Jose could make a run too. In the end though I think this is the year Tampa gets it done. I don't think they're that soft and I don't see any glaring weaknesses. Gonna be an epic playoffs this year.
