For Megadeth, Endgame is the only post Rust in Peace album that's really good. But it's awesome, so at least we have that.

Just did a search for Blind Guardian:

Amazing headbanging stuff..
The whole album is brutal, some of the best death metal...

I've recently dug me all the old albums from Megadeth,we 're talking deep nineties here. I can honestly say they've aged well.
Has Megadeth changed much it's tune what with the rveolving roster and Mustaine's frequent meltdowns?
Needless to say, Mustaine managed to change the band quite a lot.
Junior quit and joined back. Shaun and Glenn Drover joined and left. Chris Broderick joined, and left. Kiko Loureiro from brazilian band Angra is now the 2nd Axe man.
I do like the majority of the megadeth albuns post "the system as failed".
Supercollider is a crap. don't even bother.
Their latest, Dystopia, has some absolute killer tunes. Endgame is very good and probably the best since 2004. Thirteen and United Abominations are OK, but nothing special.
Old school Gojira.
One of my favorite albums:
Djenty and heavy but also deeply atmospheric. Perfect for an early morning.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

You're goddam right it needs updating. It's crazy you posted Blind Guardian songs YoungBlade as I literally just rediscovered them yesterday. As someone who used to think they could never get into power metal, I'm starting to come around, just needed the right bands. Like this band Sabaton? They're pretty fucking good. Probably wouldn't have found them without Paradox including them in their games either.
Anyway, my contribution is one of the sickest songs I've ever heard by the deathgrind titans Misery Index. They have some of the most insane riffs.

One of best Black Sabbath Albuns, Headless Cross! Tony Martin, Toni Iommi, Cozy Powell. Easilly one of the best sabbath albuns!
Some US Heavy/Speed metal, with Sean Peck killing on the vocals and Dave Conan Garcia ripping on the guitar
More US metal. Tim Ripper Owens and Jon Schaffer, doing the best Iced Earth work since "Something Wicked".
New song from german metal veterans ACCEPT. Mark Tornillo on the vocals and Wolf Hoffman dealing the characteristic riffs

Youthanasia is fantastic, and parts of Countdown are too (especially Ashes).
Dystopia seemed just OK to me at first (aside from the opening 3 songs) but it's grown on me a lot. It's basically a better reboot of United Abominations.
I did like dystopia, agree that the latter Songs loose momentum but it revives the band's signature cyberpunk theme
