Automatic weapons are hard to get, but not impossible, if you have a clean record and a lot of money.
I think this might be the first time in history an automatic weapon has been used in a mass shooting on American soil.
If it comes out that this dude had 10 automatic weapons in his room that's at least 100k worth of weapons, most likely more.
You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

It's too early. I'd rather focus on this guy being into Rachael Maddow and a hardcore lefty, because this would put the responsibility in MSM that has been adding fuel to the flames of hostilities for over a year now.

Whole thing doesn't add up because the pattern doesn't make sense.
Remember the House Republicans and Capitol Police who were targeted and shot by a lone Liberal gunman last June at a congressional baseball team practice? This is the only pattern I could think of, but in this case, a Liberal used a much more powerful gun to cut down a number of people at a concert.
Where did he learn to shoot? How did he obtained and bought the guns? What groups - i.e., ISIS or Antifa - promoted and encouraged violence by targeting specific groups (i.e., Trump supporters, white people, Christians, Conservatives, etc.)?

Another possibility, but highly doubtful, if he converted to Islam because of the woman he associated with - i.e., "You are all going to die tonight" - could have connections to ISIS, then that would somewhat fit the pattern. Again, I highly doubt it.

In this case it won't matter to them that he obtained the gun illegally.

I'm not any defender of Islam. But this doesn't sound like ISIS AT ALL. I think they're trying to salvage what's left of the Democratic party.
