Does anyone have any advice for dealing with acne underneath your beard? I have oily skin and I'm still prone to the occasional zit. I recently had one that was much more irritating due to the beard rubbing against it.

You get acne under your beard because the build up of dead skin and oil from your glands isn't getting cleared away. Normally shaving removes that build up from those areas of your face.
Get a good comb and a stiff-bristled brush, and use them both once a day on your dry beard. Doing both will help you maintain the skin under your beard, as well as tame the direction of the growth to a degree as I posted before.
Also use some beard oil. You can get something fancy, but coconut oil will do the job too.

Everyone gather round, its beard time with uncle Cr33pin.
As fate would have it, yesterday I was enjoying a chicken burger for lunch at the bar of a roof top pool here in the Ukraine. There were fine young Ukrainian hotties everywhere in their thong bikini's, drinking, dancing, an taking selfies. There was a hype man having little contest throughout the the afternoon. The hype man then gathered all the hottest young talent there for a contest. It was a selfie scavenger hunt. An low and behold their first mission in the hunt was to get a selfie with the guy the biggest beard. Upon hearing this news I put my chicken burger down and proceeded to wipe my beard clean and smirk. An then it happened.... I was bum rushed by so much young hot talent it would make Hugh Hefner's head spin. After the all the selfies were taken and the girls gone, I continued to finish off my burger an watch the rest of the contest. As it all came to a end I paid my tab then proceed out of the bar area with my iphone in hand and hunted down some of the hottest girls who participated in the selfie contest and opened them with "Now its my turn to take a selfie with you" which in turn lead to conversations and hanging out in their cabanas and sharing contact info.
Stay bearded my friends.

Have a questions for you bearded fellows.
I have around the same beard length Roosh did in 2014-2015.
After a recent small surgery I've lost a big chunk of density in my left sideburn. The surgery was 2 weeks ago and it doesn't look like there are any beard hairs growing in the area that was infected. It has healed very well, skin looks normal now... But no filling in of the sideburn. I have thick density, but it is noticeable.
Anyone gone through something similar? Can hair follicles die during a dermatological infection?

Alright I'm hopping on the beard wagon again. I tried earlier this year (for about a month) and it wasn't where I wanted it, so I gave up and shaved it out of frustration. Any tips/advice on growth, or am I pretty much doomed by my genetics?

Ok team, experienced beard member here but need some recommendations on shampoo or moisturizer. Any time I grow my beard out past two or so inches, it gets way too irritated and crunchy.
I have beard oil but its overpriced lemon scented nonsense.

Some of you have asked about using Rogaine. I will share with you my experience.
I have started using Rogaine for my beard in September of last year and have used it for 4-5 months. I'd apply the foam to my face every night before going to sleep. I had a patchy beard and after a month I started growing a full beard. Around January I had a complete full beard. Everybody noticed how my beard changed and attributed it to my age... I was impressed about how fast hair was growing. It really works.
The downside of using Rogaine besides the cost is that you will experience growth of hair in other areas of your body. Personally, hair started growing on my chest, eyebrows, a little bit on my neck and in my nose! This is a normal downside to using Rogaine, I believe the same thing happens when you use it for your hair.
I also noticed something weird when I started using Rogaine, my pee was darker and had little particles in it. The little particles freaked me out, it had never happened to me before Rogaine but I continued using it anyway.
I stopped using Rogaine in January of last year because the cons outweighed the pros. The beard didn't really look good on me, it was way too curly add to that the cost of Rogaine and the unknown side effects it was no no for me.
After I stopped taking Rogaine my beard remained the same until October of this year, my beard is once again becoming more patchy. You don't really loose hair after a while.
I hope this helps!

No problem, they both take time to manifest...as does anything worth having. Just keep working towards your goals.
I dont have the gainz to trade right now.... I've lost like 5kgs over the past few months or so. Got sick and have been traveling around and my gym schedule has been less then desirable. But thats ok cause I know where I wanna be and how to get there and its gonna happen!

Would love to find out why the fuck my beard is red in the lower area of chin and below. No gingers in my family and almost no gingers in the fucking region. I can understand why the beard is blond below the lips, why it's black on the neck and why it's brown on the cheeks but the ginger part will haunt me forever.
(If someone is going to roll with "your mom fucked an irishman" - be more creative, thanks.)

Coconut oil. Comb and brush it every day.
I have been growing beard for 3 years now.
All so-called "beard oils" is an overpriced hipster shit and you shouldn't waste your money on them. As our previous friend said coconut oil is good. I have tried many different natural oils and in my experience, bitter almond oil works the best for me.

Keep letting it grow. The longer is grows the better it looks. It may take a few months to grow thick and full. Then it becomes a part of you, a part of your life, a part of your soul.

While it's growing out use coconut oil and comb it in the same direction. Give it time and it will look better. Whether you shape it or not is up to you. Mine looks better on my face shaped but some people's look better as just letting it run wild.
Every now and then for a 1-2 weeks I dont shave to see if there's marked change in Density.. and I realize not so much.. So, I let it go.
I'm one of those guys whose naturally not hairy..
Althought I am thinking about the 5 o clock shade.. and how to maintain that.. I read that electric clippers with a "certain number" attachment can help maintain that.

At one point I did wonder if there was a natural way to stimulate Density.. But Im not a big fan of chemical substances that mess with your body.
