Haha, i thought that was funny.

No intel on action but i passed by keleti station yesterday evening and it was a swarm of bodies from afar. Didn't get close but i can't imagine it having been pleasant -- riot police and football hooligans scattered all about too (Hungary v Romania game).

Went to Instant for the first time and it was terrible. 8:2 ratio in favour of men after 1:30, all U20 ERASMUS students, and the place had no ventilation. Felt like i was being smuggled across the Mediterranean in a shipping container.

Anybody in BP feel free to PM me.

Do your parents know you're using adult web sites?

If the refugee ratios are heavily skewed towards men, does that mean all the women are still sitting around Syria just ripe for the taking? Foreign Mercenary Game, anyone?

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

My reviews of some of the nightlife spots:

Szimpla:
-Went here for a few hours on a weekday. Lots of tourists and very few Hungarian women. I didn't like the vibe of this place

Instant:
-Went on a weekday. When people here said that you would get lost in Instant, they weren't lying. Every time you turn around, there is another room. I think it has like 50 rooms. I saw a nice mix of Hungarian and tourists. Much better than Szimpla.

Kraft:
-Hated this place. It was too loud inside to talk to anyone. This club was hyped up on this forum. My Uber driver said this was the place to find the gold diggers. But I did not see many attractive women or gold digger types. Expensive drinks too. Cover charge.

BOB:
-I liked it. It was small but there are a lot of people outdoors hanging out. I went during one of the nights where they played hip hop music. They had by far the best music in Budapest. Drinks here are expensive. Like 2x the average of other places. It also has a surprising amount of older people. I w!!as warned about it and did see like 10-15 ~40 year olds.

Otkert:
-Went here twice on the weekend. Had 1 great experience and 1 bad experience. The talent was pretty good though it skewed a little young (18-22). I preferred hanging outdoors in the smoking area and hitting on girls there. You will find a lot of solo girls here. If your game is mediocre, I find that the Budapest girls will say "I have to go inside and find my friend." Watch out for the attention whoring friend from inside coming out to cockblock you because her friend is not giving you attention. Otkert has a cover for men but none for women. Lots of foreign men in the club (I saw 100 African men in clubs in Budapest but maybe 2 African girls) but not as many tourist girls. The club had 2 dance floors. One with the euroshit music and the other had American music.

szechenyi bath party:
-Do not go. The pictures make it look fun, but this was a huge sausage fest. 90% guys. No Hungarian women at all either. All tourists. Don't waste a prime partying night here. But, I will admit that the actual baths were nice. The water was hot. Very relaxing.

Overall impressions:
-Lots of hot girls. Better than America
-Girls come out in packs of 2 and 3, not packs of 10. That makes them more gameable
-Lots of rude rejections, but I found the girls pretty friendly.
-Every bar and club is a sausage fest. If you think you can get away from Sausage fests and come to Budapest, you are sadly mistaken. Some nights you will have to cut your losses early and head out to another bar.
-Asking a girl for a cigarette is a brilliant way to open.
-Most of the nightlife is a 1 mile radius so its important to set up your logistics to that.

I had a plan to work at a hostel in Budapest..there was one near my apartment.. I didn't need the money..or a room..just wanted it for the socialaspect..
I guessed they were suspect out knew my plan..

I'm guessing you are referring to Grandio. I went there for a bit. The people who work there are drunker than hostelgoers. They did do some cleaning but it wasn't a professional job. I didn't see any of them hitting on girls, but it would be a great job to hit on girls. Granted most of the girls are really trashy Australians and British. I'm talking the nasty ones, not the good looking ones. This hostel was also the nastiest one I've been to in terms of cleanliness. The atmosphere is great for partying, but you will have to sacrifice a clean bathroom for it.

Maybe this has been hinted to already, but:
What is a good place or places to go to in a weekday in Budapest, this fall, that has the following
- Nice and chatty chicks, can be picked up
- No loud music
- Nice ambiance

Really appreciate comments.

I accidentally stumbled upon some huge mall one time in Budapest. The budapest subway exits are confusing so i went to the wrong exit. Next thing you know im in a mall. The mall had the highest concentration of hot girls I've ever seen in my life.

There are two malls. One pretty much on each side of town.

I can't remember the names, but they are mentioned in this thread. The one on the west had more shops and boutiques. The one on the east had more"western" shops

I did Budapest recently. It took me a few days to warm up to it, but loved it at the end.

First night, came in exhausted, and went to Szimpla. Hit on some Auzzie girls in a larger group, didn't meet any locals. 3-to-1 male to female ratio -- there were hardly any unattached females to open.

Second night, did Morrison's 2. Was mostly foreign students, and fairly sausagey. It was all you can drink for like $10 US, which led us to drink too much and stay too long. It was mostly tough going for me, as I'm in my mid-30s and was overdressed (making me seem even older), and so I felt like age was an issue with some of these 20 year old western girls. I pulled a mixed race girl (part hungarian), but got LMR and couldn't seal the deal. Seems she really did just want to have me over to smoke a bowl...

Third day, hit the mall during the day (hit on local girls), then the baths (foreign girls), and then my friend and I chose our dinner restaurant based on restaurants with tables open next to girls. First time in three nights I had a proper Hungarian set, and took down their numbers. We then walked past an upscale restaurant, and saw two smoking hot girls, so saddled up next to them. One of the waiters tried to shoo us to another table, but I wasn't having any of it. (Another waiter said -- "I see why you want this table...") At first the girls wouldn't open, so we just minded our own business for a bit. A few minutes later, we re-opened. I brought out my best game, my girl was stunning, and the set hooked. Everyone in the restaurant -- patrons, waiters -- were impressed, and we were treated like celebrities. After that, I was literally on fire -- every set was hooking, makeouts quickly forthcoming... It felt nice, even though I ended up not flagging. That girl, a former model, was actually engaged, making it tough to do much more than number close. (Not flagging was pathetic really -- not a tough flagging destination, but I felt fairly unlucky, and also made a few tactical mistakes...)

My favorite strategy in Budapest, certainly when the weather is nice, is just to go bar/restaurant hopping, as the center is like one large open-air bar, with many of small bars which individually may be hit-or-miss but collectively are mostly a hit. I didn't love any of the big open-aired, made-for-foreigner venues, and while there was better talent in the clubs it got sausage-y late and the going there was a bit tougher. GDPpc in Hungary is $12,000, so your best bet is to focus on the local girls, although no reason not to game the others if the opportunity presents itself.

Other thing to note is that cigarette sales are limited in the center, so if a chick gives you a cigarette here, it's like an IOI. I opened multiple sets of girls who said they had no cigarettes, but then after the set hooked they shared willingly...

Hiking in the Buda hills, a free walking tour, & the Turkish baths were my favorite tourist actitivities...

Although I wouldn't trade Moscow for Budapest, it is a fun town and the two are so different they aren't really comparable. I can fully see why Budapest gets good reviews... I would return.

All these reports of Budapest being such a sausagefest - where are the girls? Why so many guys? I thought the poor salaries would keep them away?

Thirsty foreign men. Tourist hotspot. Tourism is expanding massively here over the last couple of years. Hungarian friends have confirmed that the city is transforming fast. This is good and bad IMO. The good bit is that it makes the city more interesting for the Western pocket - with cool restaurants, coffee shops and clothing stores opening up constantly.

Consider Budapest is a city of about 2million. Then take a look at Budapest airport wiki. Passenger traffic for 2015:

MonthPassengers[51]Change (2014-2015)Passengers Cumulatively
January626,195 Increase 12.8% 626,195
February599,803 Increase 13% 1,225,998
March743,031 Increase 12.1% 1,969,029
April 840,486 Increase 10.8% 2,809,515
May 895,299 Increase 10.9% 3,704,814
June 966,297 Increase 11.8% 4,671,111
July 1,081,528 Increase 14.3% 5,752,639
August1,085,608 Increase 15% 6,838,247
September1,017,506 Increase 16.2% 7,855,753
October938,746 Increase 11.3% 8,794,499

Still plenty of hotties about. But yeah... a lot of dudes.

Thanks, Sourcecode. Mall, not for me. Park, sounds like a good idea! Which parks do you recommend?

Also, just came back from Szimpla Kert. Too many drunk male tourists and hard to approach there. Is there any other good place(s) that's open all days with a more local crowd? Great thread, Buda (and Pest) is certainly good for its compactness. [Image: smile.gif] Just need to unravel the city for my approach.

EDIT: Also, if there are good places close to Szimpla Kert, I'm all ears. Then it's easier to "make the rounds" and try to make a "swoop", if the aforementioned doesn't pan out.

Hi mate, in my last post in my Budapest diary I gave some intel that might be of use. I'll link the thread below. Bear in mind that this data refers to high summer, so things may be different now. For example, I got the impression that Romkert is a summer venue.

My gut instinct says if you don't like Szimpla, you should try Otkert (a different proposition altogther). Plenty of options around BP though. Enjoy!

Man Szimpla is right in the middle of 7 district, thats the bar district, u can just walk on Wesselenyi and jump in any local bar, Sark 1-2, Buborek, 4-6s, udva + fugde rom on klauzal utca, etc etc

All those are 2 mins walk from each other. Go crazy.

As far as I know. Thursday is still model night haha.
I don't think Fridar or Saturday make a big difference.. It's the weekend. Bob is between multiple other clubs.
They will all be poppin..especially now that the weather is warming.

I was actually in Budapest last night....wow what an amazing place! So much potential it's ridiculous.
It's pretty clear how to take advantage of a city like Budapest where there are so many woman all over the place.

Clearly street pickup and the party/club scene are just the tip of the iceberg here...there are so many things you can do in a city
this big...this place is a goldmine if you're willing to invest time and money well spent building the right connections...
