Hehe well some mentions method to loose fat fast but, at the end you have to perform for your run .
First you need muscle . Muscle burn fat faster . What I want to say is if you just jug you won't loose that much and you will loose muscle over fat . Crossfit and interval sprint could be good . You need to drink a lot and you will need to swet . Do your work out in sweatshirt inside . Outside with a swetsuit .Eat well and often . Don't skip a meal . Your body will react in keeping your next one in your belly . Green tea up your metabolism and help to burn fat . Workout During the day it's good too , it help to burn more calories . Sauna are a good thing to . Swimming,sauna,swimming,sauna ....many time will be good for you . When your metabolism is activated you swet more .

So first thing to know is that only one person got it close and that was when ephedrine was mentioned, stay away from coke as it is expensive and will destroy your muscle tissue. You need to know first why you are fat before you try anything. If you are fat becasue of eating too much shit and not enough training then its easy to fix, just train more and eat meat and vegetables and carb up depending on your workout days. If you are fat becuase genetically you are fat then get ready for pain starvation and ALOT of drugs think Ephedrine Caffene Cytomel T3, trenbolone and GH.

I'm trying to lose weight too. And so far I'm being good about keeping track of my daily calorie intake and eating good foods, but I can't help but go out and have a few drinks 2-3 nights a week.

Lose fat, not weight (which will include muscle mass and water). Track skinfold BF%, not lbs on the scale
Eat Paleo diet, coconut oil to stave off brain fog, Daily calorie deficit of 500-1000, strength training 2x week, sprints or kettlebells/tabatas 2x week. Carbs only after workouts, and even then only a sweet potato / small portion of rice.

Nice post DC, agree about water over juice fasts. How do you find muscle mass retention after the 5-7 day water fast? Lose alot or not too bad?
Theoretically a coconut oil fast might be just as good. Because it converts to ketones you'll still be in full ketosis the whole time, just with less of a calorie deficit so perhaps less muscle wasted. And you'll get the detox benefits because you're still reducing your protein intake to zero, so your cells still reach the same level of autophagy (e.g. "cleaning the crap out"). I dunno how much pure coconut oil a man can take without any other food though, lol.

Nice, makes alot of sense. Cool to hear that the muscle loss isnt appreciable. I'm still trying to uproot all the bodybuilding myths that have sunk into my brain over the years ("eat every 2 hours or you'll waste muscle!!!") Juice fasting always struck me as deranged too, especially when people do it as a cancer treatment. Seems to me it's about the best way to feed the cancer and ruin the rest of your body!

I saw an amazing body tranformation yesterday. A guy that I work with lost about 30 pounds. Its not just the weight he lost, its the changes he made to his body. He went from soft to hard.
He used to drink alot, drink alot of soda, eat alot of fast food. He was chubby.
Well, now he is fucking ripped. I mean ripped. I was blown away. I asked him how he did it.
He said it was all diet.
Here is a sample of his diet.
8am - Oatmeal with berries and honey.
10am - 5 egg whites, avocado, corn tortillas
1pm - Grilled chicken salad
5pm - Grilled fish, brown rice, salad
8pm - Fruit
Next Day
8am - Smoothie of banana, almond butter, oatmeal, milk
10am - Egg whites with black beans and tomato
1pm - Grilled chicken with brown rice and yams
5pm - Steak and salad
8pm - vegetable juice
Almost everthing organic, nothing processed, no added sugars, very little booze.
This motherfucker went from having a beer gut to having a tight six pack!
Amazing.
His exercise was just alot of push ups, pulls ups, dips, and squats.

What have you guys done to lose body fat while still getting decent gains in the gym? I'm doing stronglifts right now, my working weight with squats is 250, deadlifts 275 rows/bench 140 and ohp 90. I want to keep getting decent gains. I'm 6'2 225lbs with a bf of ~22% I want to get down to at least 200lbs and ~18%bf by the end of april. I was thinking of eating 2500 cals on workout days and 2000 on the rest of the days keeping my protein/fats high and my carbs nearly nonexistent. I'm also going to do cardio after my lifting. I'm afraid that my gains wont be as much or I won't have enough energy to get through the workout. Any suggestions/thoughts?
