I'm all for age and location under the avatar.
Location as in Country or city ?? I would object putting my city name on my avatar since i live in a small city in Holland and trying to keep my identity secret. I already had the "pleasure" of death threats and law suits.
Country should do it. You're right that it would be awkward for some to put their exact location as it might undermine anonymity.

There is no need for age or location under the avatar. If one needs clarity on where a poster is coming from in terms of how old they are or what city they reside in, one can simply ask. I have done so, myself.
As said before, experience outweighs age.
I have friends who are in their 40's and 50's and some of them have barely left Canada. For example, I don't know if Roosh is yet 30 or if he is, he is not in his late 30's and yet he has lived in multiple countries and almost speaks two languages.
I know cats that can barely speak one language properly.
Bottom line, if there is a need, one can ask.
And one can always lie about the age they put under the avatar as well as location.

Every forum has a Dash. Another guy will attempt to fill the vacancy, I'm sure.

Putting a person's name and age and location is just unnecessary.
1. People will lie
2. People will be less likely to join if there's less anonymity
At best, listing a person's age/location should be optional.

I thought Dash's threads were very entertaining to say the least- he was dedicated to travel. You just had to take everything he said with a grain of salt.

Agree with this. Why not have it as an option?
If it was mandatory, what would Dash have put?
Besides that you can pretty well gauge someone's age or at least maturity especially if they post a lot. As for where people are based, regular posters seem to be pretty transparent about that. We know where MIXX, G-Manifesto, Hooligan, and many others are based out of already. In other words, if it's mandatory plenty of people will probably not disclose real data except for the ones who already do or would anyway
As for Dash.. Good riddance. The stuff G-Manifesto outed him for was appalling.

Its has nothing to do with "alphaness". And a persons age is by no means an automatic display of authority either, that completely misses the point I am making. Like I said, it does not automatically discredit your opinion because you are younger, but it will put it into context.
Lets use Athlone as an example. Smart guy and well respected, I like him too and I think he is a great contributor. I had him try to lecture me in a thread on South Africa when all he knows is what he has read in history books and what he has learned in his lectures. Now I am not South African, but I have worked with a ton of them and I have travelled it extensively over the last 15 years. Its like Australia, a commonwealth country and we we have always had very close ties with them. Im out there at least twice a year and one of my partners is based out there. I even own property there! We have hundreds of thousands of them living in Australia and much like Australians they travel a lot. To say I understand the history and the culture of the place, coming from the perspective a foreigner, would be an understatement.
If I knew everything he was saying was based on what he has read or that he was still quite young, I would have approached the discussion differently and been far more patient with him. I could tell a mile away he had never set foot in the place or if he had had not been there for more than a few weeks.
Some more examples.
- Blurb you are 18. Mixx has been fucking women since before you were born. Your views on women are going to be more relevant to a guy closer to your age, but Mixx knows how the game works for a guy in his mid 30's better than you do. Do you really believe you are in a position to advise anyone over the age of 25 at the moment? Do you really think I am going to approach women and travel in the same way you will?
- Pdog posted a great report on Melbourne. He is not old enough to drink in 90% of those places yet though and many of them would not be suitable for a guy my age at all. If I am seeing reports going up from a younger guy, Ill read it knowing that it might not be right for me and someone my age.
- I just turned 35. Much like MikeCF was being told he does not understand how hard it is for the younger guys, I also cant relate to it. I think you are all lazy and need to get the fuck off mah lawn.
- Neil Skywalker is an example of where age matters less. He is a budget traveller and his approach to everything will be different to mine. We may share views on some things, but the experiences will be different too. So again, I can put things into context with him.
Just because you discovered game theory at the tender age of 15, it does not mean that you know more about women than a guy who never did but has been divorced twice at the age of 40. He has a reason to hate fuck women now, your reasoning is based on what other experienced men have told you. Your views are from a manual, and even if its not, 2-3 years under your belt with teenage girls means nothing to a guy who is 40 years old on here. But it will mean something to a guy under 23 for example.
This is a forum about pussy and travel, and to a lesser extent is a bit of a lifestyle forum too. Its actually quite unique in that I have not seen anything like this on the web that was not related to P4P. Its why I think it draws so many different sorts of people to it. I spend way too much time on here, but its one of the few places I have found that caters to my interests.
But age is a factor in all this and there is no one defining law for everyone. The older guys on here will know where I am coming from on this, the younger guys will think me being unfair.

Men aged 17 have died in wars. They have fathered children and even in western countries have been a bread winner for up to 3 years. Many have endured nearly a decade of violence and half a decade of sexual activity.
It's rather narrow to dismiss someone because they've "only been around" for 18 solar cycles.

I don't think any guy would discount the views of a WWII vet.
Or a former African child warrior.
Or a teen who was "hustlin' in front of [buildings] when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my daughters."
Does that describe any of you?
If all you got is, "I pulled some bitches in high school and aced AP Physics," sorry, but you don't know shit.
Well i obviously know a lot about physics. I get your point though.

You don't know anything.
Have you seen friends get arrested on false rape charges?. Not read about it on some forum. No.
While this post is not inaccurate (at 20, I cannot claim to have first hand experience of many of the situations you listed), I can honestly say I've been here. Actually, I was falsely accused of rape myself, along with several of my peers (not all at once) when I was 18 (Freshman year).
No, charges weren't filed and yes, the incident may have been somewhat mild compared to some of the other things you listed, but it was serious enough to have an impact on me. I grew up a lot after that.
Not trying to lecture anyone, just adding my two cents. Not all of us are completely green and numb to reality.

I'm with Mike. If everything is equal between two men except age, I'll take the older man's advice over the younger man's every time.
Young guys don't have a clue.

I'm 23 and I keep my mouth shut when guys higher up in the hierarchy are talking. My time will come but for now, my role is to lurk and learn from the masters. Humility and respect.

Yeah, I am torn on the age/location stuff.
It would give people an idea where people are coming from, but most people haven't even filled out their profiles of places they have been.
Yep, making the profile mandatory would be a great thing in my opinion.
Age - level of life wisdom (debatable )
Country - social environment
Bankroll - money vs game ??
countries visited - travel experience
Or put age, country and country visited in the left avatar.
I would off course kill in the country visited category hahaha (50+ countries)
