Hencredible Casanova -
Classic picture with Dupri.
You should chop it up with InternationalSwagger.
He has got ATL on lock, and travels tons. And I mean tons. Hard to keep up with that cat.

True. International is for real; he called me twice last time he was in SP, but we did not managed to meet up.Unfortunately.

As for JD, I actually met him in Atlanta a few years back when I was working there (see pic below where I gave him the bunny ears). I ran into him every now and then because I used to hit the club scene HARD down there. He is a good dresser, but man, he's gotta be one of the most emasculate guys out there. His voice is soft like a teenager and he's practically a midget. Makes no sense that he got with Janet Jackson.
Don't you think that in a certain way this actually makes him even doper? I mean , his game and sense of style is so strong that overcomes his undesirable physical traits.

Well, I'm not hating, but he's got money to spend and ATL, his hometown, is full of golddiggers that don't really care what he looks like. Janet Jackson obviously has serious issues (outside of JD) so I don't know what that relationship was about.
But I think the best way to answer your question would be this, picture him without the money or fame. Do you think he would still get girls?

This thread is about average looking guys, please stick to that.

He for sure is a pretty boy. If you cut off his head (and that beanie) he has a good choice in jeans/shoes/shirts for a 20 something year old. You have any suggestions for a more average looking guy I could check out who isn't suited down? I literally just started reading about style and such a week ago.
Thanks above to the poster who pointed out KinoWear.com. Been checkin that out as well.

My personal style (both hair and clothes) tends to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is how I suit up (fitted suit preferably with thin unpeaked lapels, fashionable belt, quality leather shoes and skinny tie):

Don't forget a nice pair of specs to mix things up (works like a charm for me):

These are casual looks that I've adopted - I have a similar leather jacket, boots, and navy fitted peacoat:

I also wear a lot Diesel, Energie, etc street wear similar to a lot of looks by David Beckham or Colin Farrell. I have that exact dark denim shirt and jeans outfit from the other post.

I agree about Beckham. I don't think I've ever seen him rock anything that I wouldn't love to wear myself. His casual style would indeed work great in a place like California. Also @Gmanifesto, I love the stuff you posted. I'm going to save these pics for fashion ideas next time I'm shopping. I'm a fan of layering too, though unfortunately if you live in a warmer place you can only do that a few weeks out of the year.
Here's a couple looks I like attached.

My whole thing on fashion is do it right.
Hot shit is hot shit, where you got it from or the name brand is damn near irrelevant, especially if you're good at mixing high-low end items.
To do it right, first the fit needs to be right. You can have on a ridiculous and expensive outfit, but if its too small or too big, it doesn't work.
So if you're going to wear a blazer, the sleeves can't be too long.
Your jeans can't be too baggy or too tight.
Your shoes need to be clean.
I don't often see guys here in Miami looking very presentable, especially in non-club settings, but when they try, those are the common mistakes I see that are being made.
Most dudes are not really going to get into fashion enough to really become good at it, because they just don't care and/or they don't have the money to do it -- fashion is an expensive undertaking, a really nice pocket square, i.e. armstrong & wilson, is $50, yes we're talking about a pocket square.
P.S. Avoid anything with big logos or any kind of graphics/writing on it.

Also if you want to see regular guys doing the damn thing, check out lookbook.nu, you can see how stylish dudes in your city dress.
I don't really give props to these celebrities because most of them have some hired gun telling them what to wear.

Suit up!
I want some info on getting "Cool" jackets/ suits for "hot/ warm" weather. I've been advised Linen or Linen cotton blends. Any FABRIC suggestions would be great, because I have a source that does Hong Kong made suits. I gotta pick the right fabrics for the above for general daily wear.
Wool / dark stuff will just make me sweat too much.

Maybe we should turn this into a permanent thread sort of like Athlone's perfect 10 thread. We could constantly update it with photos of dope style we come across for inspiration. Or should we start a new thread for this?

I have never seen anyone utilize the "button hole" on the lapel before.
Trippy. I wouldn't do it, but no hate.
Me neither. That's epic and innovative.

If you wear dress shoes polish them religiously. One small scuff on leather shoes can make them look like shit.

Nice thread. I agree that style is paramount, but a lot of the examples above come off as a little too dressy for my overall vibe. A lot of guys--myself included--look a little too "Jehovah's Witness" in a tie, vest, and jacket. I dress up like this, but not for my day-to-day.
I tend to layer, but I go more casual with it. As someone pointed out, fit is everything. I wear fashion sneakers, stylish socks, tailored fashion denim, v-necks, and nice sweaters. When it's cold, I throw a heavy, stylish coat over a knit sweater/t-shirt combination. Everything fits right. I accessorize, but not to the point of looking douchey.
EDIT: I also wear fashionable hats a lot (dressier than baseball caps but not all the way up to full-brimmed "gentlemen" hats).
