Have you ever been to a place called Cucuta north of Bogota? I have gotten some interest from pipelining on CC but I am a little uncertain about the area being so close to Venezuela.

Cucuta girls are hot, and the area is very safe so go! No worries. Cucuta girls are mostly on the whiter, lighter side. You will not see many tan-darker girls like Barranquilla, Cali or Cartagena. They look more like white girls from North America.

However, Cucuta girls take GREAT pride in not being slutty like the girls from Medellin or any other Colombian city. You will hear them tell you this many times over: "we are not slutty like those paisas, rolas, costenas, calenas, pereiranas".

But, I think it's bullshit, they all fuck - it just means you have to be extra discrete. Expect a ton of shit tests and LMR when you escalate to sex, but they fuck nonetheless.

I've been to that hotel at the termales a couple of times and it is pretty family oriented if you ask me....the scenery is spectacular but I'd take chicks there on an off day like a Tuesday or Wedsday to avoid the screaming kids.

I think the nearest town to the termales is called santa rosa and it only took about 30 mins to drive to the termales from pereira.

Agreed. Definitely take a girl with you, it is a place to relax and take a break form chasing women, while you chill with an official bang for a few days.

Great tip on going on off-days Mon-Thur. Sunday is good too so long as Monday is NOT a holiday, and people do have to work the next day. I got there on a Sunday around 4PM, and I had the place all to myself and my girl with maybe 2 more couples around.

Mixx, you rule! I found an apartment in a cool, trendy part of Bogota today, close to my Spanish school....thanks to you! I was having a hard time finding a place this morning when I asked you if you knew any websites for short term rentals. I found a couple good places on that site and my friend called, we set up a viewing appointment and then checked it out, I settled on a furnished studio for 1800000 pesos. Its newly renovated and has stylish furnishings, its in a good area and has security guard 24/7, the day time receptionist is also very cute, con uno culo muy grande!

I'm gonna stay in Bogota for a month, then I'll probably move on to Medellin, hopefully we end up crossing paths, dinner and drinks on me for sure, gracias amigo!!!

I have never been to the feria de manizales....I bet it's a blast....Looks like it starts the day after the feria de Cali ends....Don't know if I could handle two ferias one right after another but I'd like to give it a try.

Hey guys, so yesterday I settled into my new place, in a trendy area of Bogota, so far, so good, my friend left to go back to Canada yesterday, so it was my first night on my own.

My first few days here were quite hectic as I got all my logistics figured out; school, apartment, etc. I was looking forward to having the night to myself because I was always with my friend and her mom for the previous 72 hours and they were starting to get on my nerves, but I'm still glad I had to her help me out!

She introduced me to a few of her friends, but as Mixx says, they're all out of town for the weekend! So I was left to my own devices for the night, something that, knowing myself and the shenanigans I can get up to, made me a bit paranoid, alone in Bogota!

Also, it has been quite awhile since I've smoked up, and I was jonsin' to burn a spliff! I just wasn't too sure about asking random people on the street for drugs, I hate doing dodgy shit like that in foreign countries, but its something that I'm used to now. Then I meet the night time security guy and he seems cool, so I ask him and of course, he hooks me up! I know he got his cut outta the deal, but I was happy with an 1/8th of decent bud (no seeds) for 20K.

So I got baked and of course lost all motivation to go out (definitely gonna cut down on that shit), just chilled at my apartment, drank and couple beer and watched people pass by, I"m on a busy steet. It was alright, I needed a night to myself since being surrounded by my folks in Florida over xmas and my friend since arriving in Bogota.

I woke up and after reading more Colombia info on here, decided to sign up for Colombian Cupid (something I should definitely have done before coming here, again, should have listened to Mixx!), shortly after that, I get a call from the Colombian Cupid pipeline guru, Mr Gameoflife himself! He PM'd me a few days ago and I gave him my cell #, so we agree to meet up. Low and behold he is staying about a 15 minute walk from me, we have lunch.

Turns out this guys been hanging with this gringo groupie he pulled off of Colombia Cupid and yes, she has friends and wants to go out tonight, mint!

So, although I was dumb enough to arrive here sans pipelining, it all works out thanks to this forum and I meet up with a cool fellow Canuck who has done all the pipeline leg work for me!

As any respectable Canadian offers to a fellow traveler, I invited him back to my place for some beer and a reefer, and so impressed was he of my nice Bogota pad, he decides to ditch his place (where he couldn't bring back chicas after 2200) and move into my building, he's gonna stay for the week and we may hit up Manziales this weekend!

Again ,I'm in a new place and I meet up with a cool fellow Rooshv forum member, we're going out tonight to the club G recommended Andres des Carnes, should be a time! We'll break it down for you guys tomorrow

PS: I'm gonna be logging off the internet all together for a good 2-3 weeks (except of course sites to chat up women or find logisitic info), I'm gonna bust out one more data sheet on getting a job in the Canadian resources industry (a few guys have asked me by PM so I figure theres enough demand out there to write one up).

I guess it depends on your budget, I"m sure I could have found better deals of I shopped around but I found a good school and an apartment in an area that I like, all within my budget, so I"m happy with that. My apartment is actually 1.5m pesos, 3m was a damage deposit.

Went out boozing the other night to Andre Carne de Res DC, it was an awesome place, packed with people. It wasn't "cheap" either, 20K entrance fee, 6k bottles of beer but it was an environment worth paying for, looking forward to checking out the original one which is a little out of the way from where I'm staying.

I took it easy most of the night just chilling and observing, but GOL had to beat the women off him with a stick! This guy was approaching like an animal, got rejected and cockblocked a few times but that didn't faze him, as the night wore on, this guy didn't leave the dance floor! After we left the club, random women were coming up to him and giving him their digits! Must be nice to be 6'4 fair haired and blue eyed!
