Brand is great but do remember he is famous and this allows him to get away with a lot more. His use of long words and eloquent sentances for example, most blokes couldnt get away with a lot of that no matter how good their game.

See Russell Brand running game

I've been recently watching a lot or Brand videos.

He's treats these women with incredible desire, but also thirst. I mean real thirst to wanting to fuck them. He also compliments a lot...but for some reason he never comes off beta.

I'm curious as to whether this is because of his status or if this has always worked for him during his non fame days.

Every line I've stolen from this guy has worked like motherfucking magic. The guy must be one of the best seducers in the world, all the while having one of the smallest dicks ever.

I imagine if I ran this sort of game on an American girl she would see it as being "all over her" and too eager and interested. I've tried it with several women, and while they'll find you "whimsical" they see you as too thirsty.

He doesn't tease girls or say anything negative, always keeping things positive and sexualized.

Has anyone been running brand game recently with any results?

^ I don't think complimenting girls is always bad thing, it's one of the game things I disagree with. It depends how you compliment and what position you're coming from.

When James Bond says "You're very beautiful", it's not exactly thirsty and desperate is it.

Like the say, it's not what you say but how you say it. Telling a girl she's cute with a little cheeky smile isn't going to get you negative points.

He is a phenomenal speaker. Even when he's spouting utter horseshit nonsense he has the audience wrapped around his finger. He is quite eloquent so he manages to sound more intelligent/confident than he probably really is.

The people here saying that he's thirsty are funny. Desiring women, LOTS of women, complimenting women, being self-deprecating, etc... are not the same as being thirsty. Thirsty is being willing to bend over backwards for a woman just to get a chance to being with her. He definitely offers himself, but it's from a place of value, not just supplication/white knighting.

Jump to 4:15, he tells the old, short-haired woman that she's sexy and she giggles like a schoolgirl. How many of us on this forum would disarm an old bird the same way? Pretty amazing guy and no doubt he gets amazing results, and a lot of haters so he must be doing something right.

This guy is a genius...I have tried to steal a few things from Brand mainly because I have hair that is similar to his (although not quite as extreme). I have a finance job that is not really congruent with my look (which is a good thing for my look) which means I often get shit-tested about money...things like "oh i dont like boring guys who are all about money"...to combat this one I stole a great line from Brand..."Well sorry but this hair only goes with being rich". It literally always gets a laugh followed by a lean in/touch...it allows me to DHV (yes, girl, I am rich) without being try-hard and it is somewhat dismissive (tuff shit if u dont like my job). I heard brand use it when an interviewer tried to get serious about him being addicted to fame and he said "well sorry but this hair only goes with being famous". It obviously only works if u actually have hair that stands out but it is great stuff.

More generally his game requires being massively in state and comfortable...thinking that quickly and being that sharp is like being a lightning fast boxer...you cannot do it with any tension or nervousnes in your body.

I repeat, the dude is a genius.

I think Brand is very over-rated, but viewing him through a Game perspective you can see how good he his at communicating to women.

Nearly every conversation he has with women he is able to sexualise it. He has no fear of rejection whatsoever, which I think is a quality women find attractive.

I always thought he was such a douche until I got into learning game. He has skill, I could never pull off his style or attitude, but I have an overwhelming urge to give him a high five.

Yeah, that's it. The thing with Brand is that this is who he is. He trolls women. Some of them he wants to fuck. Some you know he'd never fuck. Some he's probably on the fence about. I'm sure he puts a lot of women into this "god what an asshole but why does he make me feel so tingly... gee I'm going to go by his trailer and see if it's all an act". This isn't thirst, he's playing a game. It's all push/pull.

I don't see myself pulling his style off but I can't get enough of watching him game women.

Most of what comes out of brands mouth is a mish mash of random stuff. That's why he gets taken apart by top male analysts, ie paxman. However, against girls, it's like mike Tyson fighting a baby.

Wasn't going to comment until I saw that video Therapsid posted of him and Kathrine McPhee, which is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

I agree with most that his game would be hard to replicate without having some natural talent in that rapid fire wit and rambling areas. However with practice you can replicate some of what he does in a way that works for you. His style is quite obviously tailored to his strengths, and I think it would be quite difficult for most of us to achieve his rate of words per minute, which I think is important. If someone were to say the exact same things as Brand, but slower, I could see the hamster having time to run its way out of the web of words you're trying to weave.

I'll try it out some this weekend though, see how it works.

He has. I think he's quite friendly with Neil Strauss.

Russel had amazing game, which multiplied exponentially since becoming famous. Here's a quote from an interview he did with a famous British televiison show host:

"How many women have you slept with?

I've no idea.

Are you up there with Bill Wyman - around the 1,000 mark?

I'm well up from there, mate. I reckon I could take Wyman down to Chinatown.

When did your rampage begin?

When I was 15. I was quite a late starter. But I made up for it. There was a lot of activity, put it that way.

How many a week at your peak?

Oh God, at the peak it would be around five a day. One in the morning, maybe two for lunch and three for tea. Then someone might stick around all night. It was fairly mad. A good week would be at least 20, in various configurations. Only girls though, there were never any men around. I know there are question marks in some quarters over my sexuality but I have to confess to being resolutely heterosexual in every way. There is nothing ambiguous about me sexually whatsoever. So don't be misled by the way I dress. My admiration and infatuation with all things female knows no bounds. I feel nothing towards men physically at all"

I'd call his game, and an example above, a "non-sequitur game". He just delivers semi-coherent soliloquies for his own amusement. I think he really doesn't care what his interlocutors think what he says/thinks and cooks up his wacky quips on the spot but the upshot is, if you're trying to make sense out of it, most of it makes no-sense, so you can't take the guy seriously in the long term. Funny as he is and girls eat it up, I get bored with his performatory I'm-the-only-funny-guy-in-this-room-so-listen-to-my-verbiage-no-matter-what schtick.

But media love clownish personas/actors and let him play so he attracts more viewers so media outlets make more profit. He benefits from it too, so it's a mutually reinforcing circle. Does what he does work gamewise? I'm pretty sure it does most of the time. Any time I talked something along his lines to girls, they seemed interested (or just tried to make sense of what I said but it didn't really matter - what matterd was the boldness), even though I was thinking to myself I was completely incoherent and made less sense than a monkey reading Shakespeare. Yet, the girls somewhat lapped it up.

He has a great deal of social proof which also aides him. I think he won The Sun Shagger of The Year award three years in a row. With that kind of publicity about his sexual exploits it is bound to get nearly every girl thinking about him like that. Almost every girl he meets or talks to is aware of it so when he does run game they are more shell shocked he's even talking to them so don't put up much resistance.

He's been surrounded by tons of women from an early age according to is autobiography. When he was 16 his dad took him to a hooker in Thailand. So he's had actual sexual experiences from a long age, on top of his addictive personality. I think for Brand the reason why he is as skilled as he is is largely due to his proneness to become addicted to something. He's hooked on the rush of the orgasm that he'll go after it with full tenacity.

In the UK he's actually fairly easy to get hold of and talk to one on one. He performs/rants about social crap at a small venue in East London regularly. Perhaps some London based members could show up and try to set an interview with him?

I read this as see Bertrand Russel running game.

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

I think one thing every guy can learn from Brand is being unapologetic about your sexuality.

Look at the MSNBC clip for example: the woman in the blue dress bends over and "accidentally" flashes her cleavage.
A beta would've pretended he didn't see, maybe even blush. What does Brand do? He calls her out on it and tells her (indirectly) that it's arousing to him ("be careful...I'm only flesh and blood, I've got instincts").

The same with his "compliments". A lot of them are just outright statements of his sexual interest in a woman, very different from the kind of sedated, nice guy comments a woman typically receives.

I really like his direct style, 'statements of sexual interest' is something that should be discussed further.

Russel Brand has great game, but let's not forget that when the Julien Blanc scandal erupted, Russel couldn't wait to join the chorus of naysayers. In that video he says: "Any system for chatting up women is in itself questionable, and anything that's based on objectifying women or disrespecting women I'm against." I lost total respect for Russel then. Totally sanctimonious. He gave a front page blurb for The Game for fuck sake - and this is also the man who dumped Katy Perry by text. if anybody embodies the player lifestyle it's Russel Brand, but he couldn't wait to make sure people knew he was in step with the official narrative.

Yeah, but that's pretty smart if you don't want to interrupt your player lifestyle by having to explain nuance to broads.

What would you have him say instead? In dealing with Julien Blanc situation? In the interview below, the hot blonde angrily went after him about this. She called Russell a pickup artist, and look at how he handles the shit test from the ANGRY BLONDE calling Russell a pickup artist and bringing up Julien Blanc against Russell. See the expert way he handles it and even give her a kiss.

Here is a fuller interview.
