Maybe I'm overreacting but I feel like this is a turning point.
Do you feel it too?
A line was crossed here. This is murderous hate from non-whites towards innocent white kids. Scary shit. It seems like 5 minutes to midnight before something really bad would have happened.
Yes, I do.
The American public was just casually lied to twice in quick succession, and they were big lies. Bad lies. Dumb lies. And all the vitriol that should have gone to the news media for the first big, bad, dumb lie is being turned by the "regressives" onto a bunch of
kids. Our kids. There is some real, serious anger coming out now and it has the ring of
enough is enough to it. There has been an absurd level of tolerance for the stinking, hateful hypocrisy of the last several years but now the same people who line up to tell us we need to show quiet, somber deference to the Parkland kids are pushing for the Covington kids to be doxxed, expelled, or assaulted FOR DOING NOTHING.
Nobody was killed, nobody was hurt, nothing was damaged, not a single punch or kick was thrown,
nothing happened, and the "brave American" they were all defending turned out to be a sniveling, Stolen Valor coward - and still.
And still. That's not enough, because these kids were in red hats so it doesn't matter that they weren't doing anything, it just matters what they believe, and the should be punished and exiled and beaten up while we're at it, right?
It's become a bit of a cliche to say "a lot of people are getting redpilled" but you know what? A lot of people just got fucking redpilled. Because they found out being clearly, indisputably wrong DOES NOT MATTER to the "progressive" left. They don't fucking care about being exposed and whether they get beaten by rhetoric or evidence, they will always find a way to justify it. They're like a narcissistic, abusive parent. Even when they're wrong, there's a reason they're right. Even when their mistakes
hurt people and tear apart families and ruin lives, it's more important that it was all done for the right reasons. And even being dragged out squirming into the light doesn't persuade them otherwise. "Facts be damned, we're still the good guys."
I can tell you what a lot of people are thinking, maybe have been thinking for some time but only in the last couple of days just began to grasp:
If facts, evidence, or rhetoric won't persuade these bastards to cut the crap and leave innocent people alone, maybe something else will. The only
something that's left.
If I seem a touch unrestrained with my posting it's because this has been on my mind all day. Had a drink with a couple friends tonight, one of whom is a staunch conservative girl and the other of whom is a lifelong Democrat from New York, true blue. For once, both of them said the same things about this weekend. They were equal levels of pissed. I could see it. And even down here in one of the bluest bits of Cali, I can sense it. Something's changing.
It's not that "the cavalry's coming." It's that the worst people in our society are about to reap what they've sown - and it's not going to be a surprise, like it's all going their way and then one day it just blows up on them out of nowhere. Oh, no. They get to
see it coming.
