Only the most brainwashed Homo Soveticus would desire that piece of junk. Not even Batka would want it.
Of all soviet crap, only Ural motorcycles are worth getting, only because it is a copied BMW design which was never updated. You get brand-new retro style, at discount (-ish) prices.
You get all retro style and 50% reliability
...hence the discount pricing.
A friend of mine has one of these, and claims he likes it. I've seen it in his garage, but I've never seen him ride it.
Look how it can go anywhere on a European puddle!
I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

The cultural differences across the World are interesting.
In the States, where most cars are big and automatics as standard, it seems that it is unusual and therefore seen as a bonus to be own and be able to drive a car with "a stick".
In the UK, where most cars are small and the majority are manual transmission, the opposite is true (leaving exotica (you cannot buy a new Ferrari with a manual transmission anymore) and dedicated sports cars out of the argument).
Either way, I hope all you Yanks driving stick know how to heel and toe...otherwise...y'all super gay like Hank's submarine-Discovery.

Yes. In in a few states there are graduating fines. One state on the west coast passed a new law that the first offence is 2000 dollars. Ridiculous

Well, using manual transmission and telephoning causes accidents, at least it is like that in Europe. Police really put hard fining on telephoning and consider it serious offence. I wouldn't even telephone if I would use automatic transmission, better to have handsfree device and concentrate on the driving. People overestimate their abilities to drive and give full attention to road before you. Even that doesn't save you fully as I experienced yesterday where I avoided some asshole hitting me while going at least 80 km/h.

I'd agree with that.
I never had an issue with driving whilst using a phone and having a cigar etc.
However, most people are fucking retarded.
Never ever forget that face about life!!!

We all drive automatic cars here for the most part. Its pretty much legal everywhere as long as you don't use your hands.
My state allows you to drive and call people, however it does have a fine for texting and driving.
Driving in Europe (France) was an experience for me. I got a couple speeding tickets. I didn't realize you guys use speed cameras everywhere.
There are some red light cameras here but if you can pretty much speed everywhere as long a police officer doesn't see you. There are these signs one of the highways that says "speed watched by air:" which is just a deterrent so when I saw signs in France I didn't think much of it. The south Europeans are known to drive a little crazy anyway.
Oh France is a different ball game.
Go above a certain threshold and they will confiscate your car...whatever it is...they don't fuck about.
Guys travelling down to LeMans from the UK have been known to take serious measures like changing the ownership of their cars out of their name as that's the only way to prevent the confiscation. Many speculate that it's actually our fault as we used to use the route down to the South of France as a race track every summer.

Not sure if I misunderstood OP's post here. But is the argument: old classic cars/muscle cars/jeeps/trucks/bikes VS expensive cars?
If someone is willing to do a field test on this it would be great. Then again just to be safe I'll just roll with that Chevrolet string ray sports car and be satisfied with it.

There’s a psychology to vehicle ownership amongst men that I know girls tap in to in the sense of judging a man’s character.
The things you own say a lot about you, so do the things you don’t own.
I would personally advise that “car game” is a waste of money. Get what you personally want. If you could afford a fancy car, but choose to spend your money elsewhere, that’s YOU conveying your personality. If you want a hot rod, same thing.
With that said... motorcycle, hands down, every day. It doesn’t matter if you’re driving a beater Honda after that, it seems to check the boxes of most girls. There’s just something about it, especially if your car is more sensible. In my case, my cars are equally stupid (overpriced, fast), but that has more to do with my own satisfaction than trying to attract women.

I agree 100% motorcycles are best for personal enjoyment and attracting girls.

If you eat a Big Mac while you drive you deserve to be beaten to death by an Afghanistan veteran psycho cop with severe PTSD.

I used to hate on automatics. Late 80s early 90s slush box autos were absolutely tragic.
To be fair my 3spd auto golf handled going from full throttle reverse to full throttle first quite well. I couldn't smash it and I did try.
My late model daily is auto and there is no way I'd ever have a manual daily driver again. I keep a v8 rwd for the weekends.

What if you live in Brazil where people drive like maniacs. Would you still ride a motorcycle through the city streets of Sao Paolo/Rio de Janeiro? I may wanna get one, but I don't wanna die in 3 months either.

Model S. The acceleration is impressive, but the quality less so - also the comfort driving at higher velocities are not adequate of the price class.
