I suppose Match.com is being clever. They are selling their product to women, not the women to men. 'Create your story' appeals to peoples' (especially womens') innate narcissism, and actually possibly harms their chances when it gets to the stage of meeting someone as inevitably the more 'story' they have created the further from the truth it will be. Exactly my thoughts. Match.com's worst critics could not have come up with a more damning example of the futility of the website. I saw her page and immediately thought that this chick is so self absorbed there is no way in hell any guy (woe be upon him) is going to be getting with that longer than a few hours. Local exotic expat Scuba/Surf/Tour guides will get first access to that, followed by fellow adventure tourists, and perhaps a distant third will be Match.com dates that have the luxury of arranging a dinner with her perhaps once a month, where she may politely flake on you, but kindly reschedule for next month. She has quite a few more years of this vapid lifestyle before she will consider settling down. The cruel irony is that whatever attention the match.com ad brought her only reduces her likelihood of wanting to settle.

As Tom Leykis says "Loves to travel...on your dime." Even though in this case she can fly for free, someone is paying for all those boating excursions and the like. This is why she likes "nice guys." They give her "likes" and pay the bills.

If there is any single lesson the manosphere taught men over the past decade, it's to avoid being a Beta Bucks chump. You might not be able to change the new world order that created women like this, but you can avoid personally being taken for a ride.
