When I was 23 white girls were the gold standard, but all too frequently I would run across bitches that were built like a gaping cavern. The North Korean argument is retarded. First off the beauty standards in NK are completely different to SK's. No foreign media allowed in the country means that they're not influenced by western ideals of beauty. For example, NK considers round faces to be more attractive than the slim/v-line faces that are popular in SK. Those girls in the propaganda photos are clear examples of this. Not to mention they have very minimal, outdated looking make-up with ugly hair and hats.

Remember, these photos are propaganda to make NK look better, not a Miss Universe competition. From their perspective it's more valuable to have a cute girl with a "healthier" face and body represent NK than a hot skinny kpop looking girl. Having to find "healthier" girls obviously also severely limits the pool of girls to pick from. Another thing they seem to look for are girls with naturally cheerful and friendly looking faces. Basically beauty isn't the only factor when choosing these girls.
