Why would Nairobi be #1 for non-p4p. Africa is Africa. There will be rampant prostitution everywhere.

scotian,
If you have a decent local connect and are staying a while then it isn't expensive. If you stay each night in the biggest hotels then you will pay for it.
AirBnB in Africa is good value but you have to make sure it's in the hood that you want.

There's a lot of hate/suspicion/ignorance about Africa. As I've said elsewhere, most whites would rather be seen crapping their pants in church than go there. For every guy that visits there must be 1000+ following the herd to SE Asia, South America etc and then complaining that it's not how they expected.
If someone simply genuinely dislikes black skin, fair enough I guess, but the distance between Cape Town and Dakar is greater than Anchorage to Yucatan, Buenos Aires to Belize, London to Karachi and Moscow to Chiang Mai. To simply write off a vast area of the planet is a waste.
Uganda is great ; they speak English and they aren't used to us. I'm getting old but as the OP says, young guys can clean up. I was in a town near the DRC and S Sudan borders last month over a weekend. Each evening I saw baseball cap-wearing, gum-chewing, back-slapping young dudes in a cafe/restaurant with good wi-fi where the mzungu go. 'Great' I thought, 'they look like tossers but it will be good to see how they get on in the only (very decent) club in town.' It even has a VIP Lounge.
They never showed. Staying behind walls in their compound watching movies I guess.
Go to Africa. Take a chance . . .

Hmm? It’s actually good that Africa starts to receive high tourism from european countries. There are very few african countries earning decent money from tourism (cape verde, seychelles, south africa, morroco are some of the only african countries that make huge money from tourism), if african governments invest more in their infrastructure, tourists will be traveling more to africa. Notice that tourism brings a lot of jobs to locals and many leave deep poverty thanks to that. Uganda gdp per capita is one of the lowest in the whole world. Are you really telling people not to go there and you think that’s going to help their local economy?

Why would I reply to shallow minded people?
You seem to care about the motherland so I am simply telling you that your approach in telling them not to go there is the wrong approach. This is the typical shallow european approach (even though their economies made a fortune thanks to free labour from the same people they despise), africans in general embrace diversity. Allow them to go there.

Most guys aren't going to go because all the usual reasons.
If a guy goes and is cool he will be welcomed as is the African way.
If a guy goes and is a typical bad visitor then he will pay 3x for a Tusker.
That is the way of things on the Continent and so it is a win win situation really.

There are some great posts on this thread. Sorry I have not been keeping up, but life can make our schedule for us sometimes. I would like to reply to some of the questions asked. One gentleman asked about the Murchison Falls 3-Day Safari we went on. It is located on the Victoria Nile River. One of our crew’s daughter works for Mojhi.com. She booked the entire trip for us using her corporate discount. One of those offers we could not refuse. We saw 4 of the big-5 as Rhinos are now extinct in this region of Africa. We stayed at the Apoka and Baker’s Lodge while there. It was what I would call “Safari in a hurry” but for what we paid, the experience of a lifetime.
While in Kampala (Uganda), we stayed at the “Tick Hotel” for $25/night. The standard rate is $32/night however because there were 4 of us, were able to negotiate a lower rate. The “Tick” is just outside the city center and very safe. The rooms were clean, staff pleasant and professional and unexpected excellent complimentary breakfast. When I travel abroad, I like to save money on lodging for other activities I am there to enjoy.
I saw earlier where some members were rating African countries to visit. I can only go by word of mouth of the locals, however was told that the women of Kenya are the most advanced and educated. Better standard of living, more in tune with western culture. Same with South Africa. If I was looking to bed African women, I would save my money and not travel to either Kenya or SA. Will have too work too damn hard in both these countries. Some of the better Gamesmen here on this board may get it done effortlessly, however, I just do not enjoy working that hard for sex. Nigeria, a mixed bag. Lagos, the capital is filled with beautiful women, however a culture of corruption and survival of the fittest. You sleep with one eye-open if with a Nigerian woman. In other words, foreigners beware. Ghana, a smaller scale of Nigeria, and not a destination I would choose either. There are many other Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cameroon, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, etc., however, can save you a lot of leg work and strongly recommend Uganda. When I am traveling out of town, I have always noticed the establishments where the locals dine have the best food. It is the same for the countries Africans go to find wives. Kenyan men, as do Nigerians, come to Uganda to find wives. Ugandan women retain their culture in larger numbers than other African nations. One of the traits of a Ugandan woman is to “serve” and be submissive” to her man. The man must treat her well, and be a man (no apologizing, telling her how important she is as a person, asking her if he is making her happy, etc.). A Ugandan woman will be uncomfortable if you are too sensitive to her needs. She cannot be “submissive’ to a man like this. You must also give the illusion that your trip revolves around finding a traditional African woman for marriage. Every Ugandan woman wants marriage and children. This is a sure fire method that you will not be alone at night in Kampala. Ugandan women are also known to be the curviest of the African women, however, not overweight. You will find most are tall, athletically built with a big rack, small waist and hips/ass ample enough that your arm will not slide off when around her waist. Ugandan women are clingy and affectionate, so be prepared for a lot of stroking and touching. They are extremely docile, gentle and polite. They speak excellent English, albeit with a heavy accent at times. The intonation of their voice rises up and down which almost seems as if they are singing when they speak. I am going to post a few more photos I took of Ugandan women while in Kampala. One is of a woman I took a photo of in the airport, and the other a lady walking near our hotel in Kampala. Both were fine with having their photos taken. Hope you like.

Captain Crunch, did Tick Hotel let you bring girls up?
Would you stay there again?
Is it at a logistically good location?
Thanks a lot for the feedback

Captain Crunch, did Tick Hotel let you bring girls up?
Yes, with no complications whatsoever. White travelers are treated with the utmost respect in Uganda. Remember, it is a man’s world in Uganda, they expect female companionship accompanying their guests. The girls you will be bringing up look like the girl in the photo above, not some street hooker walking the streets of Main Street, USA.
Would you stay there again?
Absolutely. Not only would I stay, I wholeheartedly recommend to any foreigner visiting Kampala. It was suggested to us by one of he local trackers assigned to our Safari, and it did not disappoint. For a Queen size bed and good amenities, $25 was a steal. Throw in one of the best quality complimentary breakfasts I have had anywhere, and it is more than a bargain.
Is it at a logistically good location?
Yes, the Hotel is located just one mile out from the center of the city where all the action is. Rubaga-Kathedrale and Uganda Martyrs Shrine are just down the road.

The lady in the turquoise dress is a bit too thick boned for me with facial features that are too big. I prefer more ectomorphic.
I find the first lady from Giama's post in the green to be super attractive with the skinny waist and nice curves, and facial features that aren't too big.
But even for 1-2 night stands, character and personality is a factor for me, so look aren't everything.
Crunch, how would you rank (for the major cities) Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania for a one week trip and a one month trip?
