Could you give me a reference what areas would fall into that category?
Would you categorize "carrera 30 Nº 32-64 (la milagrosa), colombia" as one of them?

2.) @Mixx: Do you have any advice on good accommodations for mid-term / long-term rentals. I stayed in a 5* hotel in Itagui, Medellin last time. Close to la Strada, but don't really know the city that good yet and I am gonna go back soon.

I like to keep most of my jokes to myself but one is, When I see a girl looking at me, I will say, ¨yo no soy carne, tengo mente, tengo corazon¨ its all delivery I get a laugh and a smile every time.

I dont per se have problems with low class barrio chicks, the problem is I like having regular girls, not just shagging for the night, and I like to be able to hang out. Let me give you an example, I picked up this girl, she was a waitress at a bar, great body, pretty face.

Mixx and I were chilling at a nice italian restaurant having a bite to eat, I invite her over. She shows up, looking sexy as hell, low ride jeans, short halter top, caviat is she also looked like a hooker/prepago low class ho.

pretty much the whole restaurant screeched to a halt. So they look and act like low class barrio girls.

Problem number 2, I brought back two girls fucked em, escorted them out, the next morning I found out they stole my YSL cologne AND my friends small electric nose trimmer/shaver from the bathroom. Go figure.

So, low barrio chicks are thieves a lot as well.

Okay, here it goes... i got pretty far with this girl via chat and skype and she as asking when i would come to medellin every now and then. she basically texted me every day te quiero etc.

so once i booked the flights the contact basically decreased by 90%. still a short message here and there on facebook. but thats it. i know that the university has started again and that she works at night. but still its arkward... .

anyhow i dont really know how to understand this situation. she is 20 and probably still young.

any advice guys, i am going to panama on friday and medellin on sunday. and she was my best bet

Actually in Colombia, The school Year ends in November.

December and January school is out on vacation for the summer.

My advice is do not call her anymore, Medellin women are "last minute" lays. yeas sir...u will notice a huge difference if u were there in 2007. not the same anymore..lleras is parque gringo. the gringo allure is all but gone. some of the locals are starting to resent it aswell.

I just booked my apartment over AirBnB in Laureles. Before, I did some research about the area and found this awesome Laureles guide, that I want to share with you. It got recently updated in October 2018.



This is the area he considers to be Laureles.



While this is the area he recommends to stay in.

For the interested, got an AirBnB for 73 nights for 1.900€. It's a 1 bedroom with balcony and air conditioning. Unfortunately, it's located a bit to the south of the yellow area mentioned above. So probably gonna have to walk a couple of minutes.
