I don't understand the USP of Dogecoin.
The only unique trait it seems to possess is how normie friendly it appears on the landing page.
Why would anybody use it over Monero or even BTC / LTC / ETH?

There's no USP in dogecoin. It started out as a joke involving a dog meme, and then it just snowballed into a $1B market cap.
"Why would anybody use it over Monero or even BTC / LTC / ETH?"
Nobody uses BTC/LTC/ETH either.
How are they different than dogecoin?

The darkweb is using monero now.
dogecoin and Sia being a 1b+ MC is both scary and encouraging. These coins being worth this much means ones with actual use like ChainLink and other low cap coins will do well. Either that or we are witnessing the height of the alt-coin bubble. It makes me think that almost whatever I hold will do extremely well so as long as the market doesn't implode for another year.
XMR to me is very undervalued. Coin with only 15m coins and only 5b MC. King of privacy and the dark net. When this becomes the only one accepted by the dark net the supply/demand will blow this up very high.

Any thoughts on AUGUR (REP), DECRED (DCR) and ICONOMI (ICN)?
-REP is basically a betting coin on real life events, for instance presidential elections, sports events, oscar wins etc.
-DCR is about decentralization, stakeholders can vote in all decisions about future choices of the coin.
-ICN is sort of a platform to manage digital assets, it is where investors and managers of DA can meet.
All three of them are still fairly unknown, yet top 100 on coinmarketcap and present interesting ideas. ICN and REP have been doing well now after the dip, DCR down a little bit. Anyone looked into these?
Disclaimer: I bought a bit of REP already and am looking into buying into the other two.

Bread (BRD) is at it's lowest point pretty much since it became tradable a few days ago. I believe that it's going to get a big pump in the next couple of weeks.
You really think BRD is gonna pump? What do you base that on?
@Olav I'm no expert and can't say for sure but I've put some money on it happening!
It was a hyped ICO and it's now at it's lowest point since it started trading. No ICO of that profile that I have witnessed peaks in it's first few days like that, it should at least climb back up to it's previous high (which would give you a 50% gain if you bought it now at around $1.50) if not go much higher. Maybe it will be a sleeper for a while but it should get a nice pump at some point.

Y'all niggas want an undervalued crypto? Buy BANCOR.
Also, ICN is legit but should have bought it when it launched a few weeks ago.

Why the fuck is BANCOR undervalued ?

Listing alt.coins without citing reason why they're undervalued isn't very helpful...

Nav is building an Anonymous Dapps platform, the whitepaper is releasing in Q1 2018. After the platform launches, industry is sure to jump in - The same situation prompted the initial price spike with Etherium
Nav's community fund has been accepted and begins in February 2018, the community will decide where over $1m of their stake money goes. This means NAV as a project would continue even if all the devs and team quit. True decentralization. NAV cannot be stopped, and if the community feel that one area of the project is lacking, they will vote to push funds towards that area. - The same situation (decentralized governance and funding system) prompted the initial price spike with Dash.
NAV has had very little marketing in the past, but they have recently employed a marketing team who have previously led marketing strategy for brands such as Coca Cola, Unilever, Microsoft, and Vodafone.
NAV coin has a very low market cap, and has room for tremendous and rapid growth https://i.redd.it/41293950xc601.jpg
NAV's community and interest is growing rapidly

There are many other aspects of NAV to look into, such as Polymorph; send any coin anonymously through NAV, NAV Tech 2.0; addressing privacy improvements, Stakeboxes; Recieve 5% of your holdings back yearly for less than $10 electricity...
This is the definition of getting in early!
The price can go 40x from here and the marketcap still wouldn't be as high as DASH
Revisit this post in 1 years' time.
Disclaimer: I hold NAV and I am passionate about this project. Do your own research!
I'd like to add that Nav was just added to Binance today...
The crypto sphere is finally opening up to women. This ICO could result in the most successful pump and dump of all time!

The term undervalued Crypto is an oxymoron. Cryptocurrencies have no value. As Buffett pointed out, you cannot value bitcoin because it is not a value producing asset. Cryptos are completely useless for anything other than speculation. Even Monero which does actually have some usefulness (good for privacy) will probably be shut down by governments eventually if it becomes too big. I am thinking about speculating in some (late to the party perhaps?) cryptos because I expect even more uninformed morons to keep pushing up prices for a while yet before the bubble implodes. Cryptos appear to be one of the biggest scams of all time but I have come around to their usefulness as a vehicle for speculation/gambling. I am now of the view (I underestimated it previously) that the crypto bubble could go on for a fair while longer before it implodes spectacularly.
What I find really amusing/ironic is when certain crypto speculators (no such thing as a crypto investor) claim that the U.S. stock market (which keeps churning out record profits) is a bubble and say that crypto (no earnings or value to speak of) is undervalued.

^ Not this again. What you fail to understand is that cryptos are a new asset class. It may be in a bubble given the underlying value, but the technology they are based upon is still in its infancy and going through growing pains. Once these technologies begin to mature and more people adopt this new asset class, you're going to regret not investing even 1% of your money into this sooner.
Well, welcome to the party!
I think the condescension is a little silly, though.
There are plenty of guys in this section of the forum who've received 10x returns on their money. Are they the uninformed morons, or is it the guy who was fucking around with Australian mining stocks because "Buffet said you can't value bitcoin"?

Cleanslate just because the internet was useful it doesn't mean that pets.com (long since defunct) was a valuable company. That is the way I feel about Cryptos. Yes, blockchain is a real technology, however most cryptos are worthless and will eventually go to zero. For every Amazon and Google there were hundreds of companies like pets.com or webvan.
Samuel I am not sure were you got the idea I invested in Aussie Mining stocks. I discussed them but specifically stated I do not invest in them (generally not a fan of mining stocks).
Many guys on this forum who speculated in Crypto are pretty savvy and ,made a lot of money but they do not represent the average crypto speculator. The average crypto speculator knows almost nothing about the technology or financial markets generally and is just jumping on the latest craze.

I'm wondering if NEO isn't undervalued. People fucking LOVE NEO ICOs, like DBC and QLC.
Every hot ICO in the next month is a NEO one.
Is NEO gonna replace ETH?

It's second behind BTC in percentage of my investments. I have several ERC20 tokens but currently very little ETH since NEO seems to have larger growth potential in the near future.
Yes Neo is due for a major pump once the Chinese government gives the go.
REQ & RHOC smashing it since 21-Dec call
TNT (Microsoft, Phillips)
TRX (Alibaba China, Forbes)
XVG (mcaffe, privat coin)
TRX (Alibaba China, Forbes)
XVG (mcaffe, privat coin)
It would be nice if TNT went up more...
I kept some TNT through the bear market as a lesson to myself to never hodl, and that no matter how smart I thought I was with a buy, the market would still turn on me at a moment's notice. I considered it an expensive mistake, but an important one to remember.
Now I'm in like 50% profit on it.
That's Crypto for you, I guess.
