If Scott loses by one vote I'll kick myself in the ass for voting Nelson. Scott is extremely unpopular in my home state. His percieved handling of the discharges from Lake Okeechobee killing the southern coastlines has been a major factor in my home counties and could swing a lot of Treasure Coast voters away from him. Problem is he was probably the only one with name recognition who could challenge Bill Nelson anyways. Voted straight Republican on an absentee ballot except for the Senate race.

Why the hell would you vote for any Democrat? You know who runs their party now. There can be no compromise with these people because they hate you.

Did my part. Just voted.

Walked into the gym, then went to a table that showed a map with district numbers. Once I found the table of my district number of an address I live in, gave them my ID and said my name. Signed my name and they gave me a paper ballot.

Blackened each Republican dot. Just went straight Rs.

Walked over to the paper ballot machine and inserted my paper ballot successfully. Paper ballot counter displayed #389.

While I am not hopeful in a strong blue state - thanks to the fucking overpopulated NYC that always vote Democratic - I see it as my duty and responsibility to have my vote counted and voice heard.

Now we wait for all of the results.

KY-06 the Republican supposedly leads by only 800 votes last I checked. This is going to be a nail biter. Turnout was insane.

On the other hand, a county that previously voted for Donelly by 12 points now only has him slightly ahead.

This is what to look for in Indiana:

“The main event in the first states to close will be the Indiana Senate race, where Democratic incumbent Senator Joe Donnelly holds a slim lead in polling over Republican Mike Braun, but has only averaged about 44% in absolute support. A Republican Senate win in Indiana would make it very difficult for Democrats to take the Senate majority. The Indiana race could also provide a hint regarding the outcome of the Democratic-held Senate seat in Missouri, where the polling is even closer.”

Things look good for Braun, though it’s early.

Take care of those titties for me.

Don't worry. I nullified your vote with the vote of my 91 year old neighbor, whom I took to vote on Saturday, and wouldn't had voted if not because of me.

Just couldn't do it. Before I joined the service the discarges started and every year after it's only gotten worse. Scott has shady connections to big sugar and they play a large part in keeping these discarges flowing. Trump should be starting to adress the issue soon from what I read. Mar Largo is only about an hour south of my hometown actually. It sure wasn't an easy call lol, even my grandmother who has voted Republican for decades could barely bring herself to vote for Scott. Florida politics are incredibly corrupt as it is so neither was a great choice. On the plus side I managed to drive two of my friends down there to the polls to vote Republican. The youth vote isn't as nearly favoring the Democrats as much as I think they would like to believe. Could just be my family, but all of us under 30 in the family are strict conservatives, and quite a few of my extended family who's parents are liberal are secret conservatives and vote red at the polls.

I'm going to bed now. I only pray this election is going exactly the way we had hoped.

Democrats can't even put up a tent correctly.

Makes sense since they have been in nature a total of 3 times.

For me was a no brainer this time around. I want to see a third Supreme Court pick by Trump to get the support of the Senate, and, for me, that meant voting for Rick Scott. Really it was a very unique situation, right time, right place, to flip this Senate seat.

I'd vote for a stinkin ham sandwich before a democrat in the current year. Yes, the republican side has become a wide range of ideologies ranging from corporate shills like Scott to more MAGA conservatives. That is because the democrats are now legion to their globalist and socialist ideology. How dems many stepped up to help Kavanaugh? How many will support Trump on anything, even if it was something they wanted they would refuse it from him on principle. The average democrat candidate is akin to a death camp guard in their levels of obedience and belief to their fringe leftist ideology. I wish the right was half as loyal to the populist agenda that Trump represents as the left is to their agenda. Of course when the left represents socialism, fake rape, feminism, open borders and genocide, we get stuck with anyone to the right of that. Half these republicans would have had a D by their name just twenty years ago. So yes, we are stuck voting for a shitty canidate with a R next to their name because at least he doesn't want to kill us or take away all our civil rights.

All great points. Can't say I haven't regretted it at times. I might have been a bit too principled on that vote because I wasn't thinking about the national scene as much as State issues. I didn't even think to take into account the likely upcoming Supreme Court nominations. As reactionary and conservative as I am I might have been a bit too vindictive and concerned with punishing Scott than thinking a long term game lol.

Predictit* Arizona odds are shifting against McSally, now it's about 50/50.

Edit: Predictit also has Cruz odds dropping considerably... from over 80% down to just over 60% liklihood.

Georgia Kemp/Abrams race is on the other hand is looking really good, for Kemp, at least odds wise.

Edit#2: Florida Govenor race odds (again on Predictit) are looking much better for Republican candidate, up about 30% from 30% odds up to 59%
