Aquaphore. Years back I used to get chapped lips so bad that they'd start bleeding. It was horrible. First I used Vaseline (which worked really well), but it felt too heavy on my lips. A doctor recommended Aquaphore. Still really heavy, but not as much as regular Vaseline.

For guys who have skin problems (irritation, etc.) Vaseline is also the best aftershave you can get. It repairs and protects your skin in record time. (even better against cold weather) Just don't exaggerate or your face will be too shiny and gummy for hours.
hell yeah my mom put me on to vaseline when i was little. but chapstick is so portable. i feel so gay when i put it on though but definitely essential haha if you have to constantly reapply how do you transport it? i guess you can get some other lip balm and put the vaseline in there when its finished.
aquaphor tastes nasty lol ive tried that.

Can Vaseline be used as a lube too?
It can...and in the old days it used to be...but it is not water soluble. KY Jelly and other water soluble products are much better, though more expensive.
Important to note also that vaseline is not recommended as a lubricant for use with latex condoms.
Protip, if you're all chapped and at work and you have a first aid kit for public use, get some of the "antibiotic ointment" Its neosporin (essentially) and just antibiotic vaseline (essentially) I do this all the time at work if I forget to grab my Carmex
