I've no experience with guns.

To those with plentiful gun experience, does this distance make you think one shooter or multiple shooters?

Pretty much Trump derangement syndrome but this Indonesian woman could have an Islamic side to it. But I will say its TDS and it was a specific target of an event where you would normally find Trump supporters and the guys facebook points to him being a deranged communist.

So what it will be about is how the MSM can spin it to gun control, how it was a white male, how this WAS NOT ISLAMIC! terror related and how such a thing could happen and how this is the fault of Trump because he has been winding people up.

Firstly I believe this is political terror against a specific group - Trump supporters.
2 - The MSM and all of those who have encouraged or incited violence against Trump supporters should be investigated, fined and locked up for some years in prison full of nasty individuals.

3 - They are going to spin this towards how guns are dangerous and how whites should be guilty.
4 - America needs to wise up to political violence. It is the work of communists/marxists and needs to be addressed ASAP before it can keep escalating.

If it was precision shooting i.e. sniper then multiple. This was full auto bullet rain. On the couple videos I watched I never heard more than 1 gun at a time.

One shooter is possible. I wonder why they selected the Mandalay though? Having stayed in one of the road facing rooms of the Luxor before, that would have a direct, and far more open view of the event.

Is it confirmed she is Indonesian? I know an Australian newspaper stated her as such, but when I checked her FB page, her posts were in English and Filipino, meaning she was a good chance Christian.

I would lean more towards a Filipino woman getting roped into this whole ordeal after marrying a white foreigner for money. Regarding the gun issue:

This actually disproves the MSM's gun law propaganda, because the rifle used [If I'm not mistaken] was banned... It highlights that you can ban guns, but the people who want to use them for criminal activities will get them regardless.

The thing I hate about the gun control argument is it seems like most people are either totally on one side or the other. There is a huge middle ground between banning all guns and letting everyone buy whatever gun they want with essentially no regulations. Why are so many on the pro gun side so against a national gun registry and increased background checks so people with a history of domestic violence, assault, mental instability, ect, aren't able to legally buy guns?

Obviously, automatic weapons are illegal, but it was reported that several other guns were found in his hotel room. It'll be interesting to see whether he legally owned those other ones and what his criminal history was.

I've got a few theories of why Mandalay after looking at a Google Street View:

1.Mandalay is behind the stage, meaning that you would have bigger targets as most of them would have their bodies pointed towards the stage. Bigger chance of hitting center mass shots and more damage regardless.

2. The lights from the stage and the color of the hotel would make it much harder to detect muzzle flash.

If you look at this pic you'll see what I mean:

Red: The two different firing positions. One being Mandalay, the other being the Luxor.
Blue: The Stage
Black: The firing angles(rough)
Yellow: The crowd(Target(s) in this case)

You hit the nail on the head.

Moreover, we're seeing that the 24/7 agitprop has a deleterious effect on the weaker minds on America. Lots of down-and-out individuals who have nothing else in their lives besides the smirking face of Anderson Cooper. After about 257 negative news cycles, they finally go crazy.

The gun debate is simple. You can't get rid of guns. People can make guns in their garage. People can take semi-autos and tweak them into auto.

If you ban the commercial production of them, the peaceful lawful citizens will have none, while the people wanting to impose terrorism or do harm do have them, either homemade or illegally imported.

That is the way to handle a gun debate. That argument right there.

If you "outlaw guns", you'll have attacks like the Ariana Grande thing or Bataclan where it could have been prevented with an armed citizenry.

This country concert may have zero difference with or without gun laws, but the millions of other violent shootings (mass or one-off murders) will go on.

Let's play the outlaw gun scenario out. You can't have guns like in NYC. Well they have shootings, but that's because of the import of guns from other "wild west" states around them. Oh, so you think we won't get guns bleeding in from Mexico with a sieve of a border? Oh, so now you want to close up the borders? Alright, now let's spend a butt-load on making sure guns aren't imported (cue the drug war). Problem is, you have little garage gatherings and groups starting to make homemade guns. So now you start tracking and limiting the sale of potential gun-making equipment. Oh and the shells and casings. If you have those, jail. No slingshots either. Which means no rubber bands heavy enough to sling a shot?

Are you starting to see the infringement on basic freedoms?

Police have said shooter is Steven Paddock, not Geary Danley.

Geary Danley was never a police suspect, but rather a "social media suspect" - meaning "independent investigators" like us used Facebook to identify the guy.

Other "independent investigators" used address-searching software to correctly identify Steven Paddock as the shooter.

The key problem is that the Sheriff said they were looking for the "companion" of the Asian chick. Those who got it wrong interpreted that as "her husband", and found Geary Danley. Those who got it right by saying "companion could mean anyone, not necessarily her husband" used address software and found Steven Paddock.

How did he entered the premises armed? I expect concerts to have metal detectors and guards.

I know this is not the best time but seeing photos of the event, most of the girls seem slender.

True... From memory, for a solid line of sight [Without obstruction from the palms/Egyptian shit] you would likely need one of the penthouse rooms as well which may have been out of budget.

I also read that the Filipino was a gold club member at the Mandalay. Either way, with the type of weapon he was using, even at 1300+ feet it's a very easy shot... The sad part about this whole ordeal is that the 50+ deceased will be used for political posturing by a liberal media salivating at the notion of a white shooter.

I think the best way to handle the gun control debate is to slap (or punch) anyone who says, "We need this gun control law!" - which already exists.

From there, if they continue to do that, keep ramping up the violence until they either propose a new gun control law, or stop talking.

I'm speculating that he didn't enter the concert itself. He just checked into the hotel with lots of bags.

Can anyone confirm that Vegas hotels DO NOT have metal detectors? My memory from years ago says they don't.

They would be checking everyones bags to the limit if that were true. Never heard of bag checks but I reckon they will from now on if it overlooks something. Where does it end you wonder?

Guy had a birds nest view of the whole area and the people were sitting ducks. If the media starts ignoring the political aspect of this its almost definitely political.

They do not have metal detectors at any of the LV hotels I've been at. It would be a huge inconvenience relative to cost and guest annoyance, which is why they don't have them.

Why are people still talking about Trump Derangement Syndrome if the perpetrator is not this Anti-Trumper Geary Danley as initially thought, but Stephen Paddock? Is there some info about Stephen Paddock's motivation / politics that's already out?
