Hi, I know both, Manila (and not only) and Jakarta. I would have to tell something about them but before I would like to hear something from you about girls. I don't know about Manila but I went to Jakarta recently and none of the girls I slept with asked for money or anything at all really. One girl asked for taxi money and then later when she was leaving I was going to give it to her (since it's only like 2 dollars) and she laughed and said she had been joking. I was only in Yogyakarta for two days, so there wasn't much risk of running out of girls.

Sure, the average Indonesian girl wears a hijab, but what of the average girl willing to date a foreigner from tinder? Probably less likely to be conservative. I was referring to handing a girl cash, taking her shopping, or helping with a family emergency or buying them a phone, etc. I did not mean paying for dates. Parts of Kalimantan and Sulawesi are predominantly Christian. Other parts are mixed.

I actually did an exploratory trip where I stayed 2 weeks in Jakarta and then 3 weeks in Manila back to back because I had the same question as you.

For the sake of brevity I will focus 100% on the behavior of girls but it bares mentioning that on average your typical Manila girl will be significantly better looking then your typical Jakarta girl, where there are some hotties, but the average girl is pretty bad. My tinder analysis at the time would give the average girl in Jakarta a 4 and the average from Manila maybe a 5 or 5.5.

Behavior wise, here are the main differences I noticed

1. Jakarta girls are a lot spunkier and less submissive then both Thai and Philippine girls. They like to joke around a lot and seem to really enjoy sarcasm which is unusual for southeast asia. They can bit a bit of "ball busters" in the playful negging type way.

2. Manila girls are way freakier and more experienced in bed. Provided you would be considered above a 3 in the US or westen europe (not hideously fat or ugly), You will be able to get laid and get girls easily in both cities. However, Manila girls tend to give way better head, toss your salad, butt stuff, etc. Jakarta girls are more conservative in these regards, you may find a special snowflake (as I did), but the order of the day is usually gonna be them laying there like a fish while you fuck them missionary, no (or bad) head.

3. Jakarta girls tend to have better personalities and are more interesting. This is spot on.
