When it comes to positivity, I would like to share with you songs from Serbian singer Roki Vulović.
His most famous songs and videos are from era of wars between Balkan countries. Even though these wars were really bad and a lot of people suffered, his songs still maintain positive spirit. He sings mostly about soldiers and their commanders. There´s no hate in his songs, only love for his country and friends (beside being a singer, he was member of combat unit Garda Panteri).
It´s just total oposite of music, they keep feeding us with right now. His videos are becoming viral, and in recent interview, he said he even gets appreciation from people from former "hostile nations". When I first saw his videos, it was kind of funny (turbofolk background music and his typical look in uniform). But as I listened to it more and more and found out more about the history he´s singing about, I began to love it. Both music and lyrics.

There are many videos on Youtube, the most of them were shot just at the combat frontline. Some of them have English lyrics.

The most famous song about his unit Garda Panteri.

Song about another unit

"Brave winners"

A little bit provocative song about shooting down US "invisible" jet. Serbs are very proud of this

I've got things to work on in my life, but I'm getting into better physical shape, getting "some" attraction from girls (more important that it's slowly improving), and have been meeting and training with better players so my volleyball skill is starting to improve too.

A family member who has been unemployed quite a bit of time (and who I've been encouraging) has recently starting looking for and actually found a decent job too. I also managed to take down a bartender in my local area for the first time ever which happened by complete surprise. Some crap weather recently turned into some of the prettiest winter days I've seen in recent memories and I can feel it...I'm gonna be getting laid and have more women interested in me than I can handle pretty soon.

Happy Hump Day, Winter is coming!

This obscure one hit wonder from the 70's always puts me in a good mood for some reason.

And this is random too but pretty cool

I've finally fully committed to leaving Kansas in less than 6 months! Applied for several jobs which I'm almost guaranteed to get one of, so there's no turning back now.

I'm not looking forward to the pain-in-the-ass that is moving myself, and then moving my business later, but it will be worth it to get out of here, no more shitty cold freezing temperatures!

Not looking forward to having to cut one of my long-term DJs and show host loose, but we will hopefully be able to work something out. Maybe he can do it from his house.

As someone who has moved more times than I could possibly sit here and try to count (and by myself 80% of those times), I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt, if you have the possessions of the average man or more, I will always bite the bullet and hire movers. They come to your place, pack your shit, move it, then unpack it. It sounds expensive at first, but it's really not that bad. Plus all your property is insured and replaced if damaged. And especially if you have a large garage or storage unit in addition to just the "normal" stuff. They do it all and your only worry is packing a bag of clothes and some toiletries (weapons if you have those).

It's worth every penny. Good luck on the move!

Fortunately thanks to RVF and the manosphere my mindset changed to minimalist, and I've moved 2 times in this same town so I threw away a lot of useless junk after selling my house and downsizing. Even my current digs (800 sq ft condo) seem like more space than I need. My business office is another story though since it'll need cleaning out before the move too. Anyone want some 10 year old servers and desktops? [Image: lol.gif]

This is a Youtube channel by a Canadian guy who's building a log cabin (in more recent videos it starting to develop into a homestead) in the Ontario forest. He does it all by himself, using mostly traditional tools and building techniques.

His life story is pretty interesting, and he drops a lot of neomasculine sentiments in many of his videos, in a quiet and slightly self-conscious way.

I grew up in the countryside, always building tree houses and shelters in the forest. What this guy is doing is every boy's dream... It's awesome to see him realize what's been in his head since childhood.

Well worth a watch.

Recently a mentor of mine who I've competed with at a very high level...well, they lost their shit. I went high road this morning and sent them a positive message of farewell.

This will make an upcoming competition far more difficult (they helped me win a competition very important to me), but I welcome the challenge, as I simply can not allow that type of toxicity in my life.

Went to bed relatively early last night, got up and sauteed garlic, bell peppers, and spinach then eggs, bacon, toast, and some delicious coffee. Then my two new friends and I trained for nearly 2 hours (different sport, beach volleyball). It was a beautiful morning before I headed off to work and drove along the coast taking in the sights.

Happy Hump Day!

Last Sunday I completed the first draft of my fourth novel. The previous three are out already.

Also last week I secured a license to a big-in-the-90s IP that I'm going to use for my next series. It was a favorite of mine as a young guy and I'm stoked. Can't wait to start writing.

Went to the movies to see ”Bohemian Rhapsody” with my mom.

Not because I wanted to make amends or get back on good terms with her (yet), Queen is just that one thing we share a connection with.

It was great. Many happy childhood memories came flooding back and we reminisced the whole drive home.

First flight tickets for 2019 just bought, so I have something too look forward to. I´m flying to Balkan for the third time in a row. That place is so cool and I am wondering if I will ever have desire to go to another place.

End of week 8 being back in the gym.

Stopped for a couple years due to injury. After I recovered from the injury, I became lazy and started drinking very heavily. It got to the point where I was drinking 36+ beers a weekend. Friday's consisted of working until 4:30pm-5:00pm, going to the liquor store to buy 2 18 packs of beer, and consuming 18-22 a night from 5:45pm until around 1am. Saturday would be day drinking.

I became depressed, and my health started to really deteriorate. I was developing a beer gut and I hated what I looked like whenever I saw my reflection in the mirror.

Finally had a get-off-your-ass realization and got back into the gym. 8 weeks ago, I weighed 265lbs with a gut and no muscle definition.

I cleaned up my diet in an extreme way back when I was going hard a couple years ago. Been going 4x a week every week since I've been back in the swing.

Thankfully, I've had the privilege of training with people who taught me how to lift and diet the proper way, so now, my body has gone through a drastic change.

My six pack is almost back, my arms have more definition than they've ever had, and I've maintained my body weight at 265lbs.

Primary focus on technique and negatives have played a huge role in my strength increase and muscle development.

Of course, this is only 8 weeks. Unlike a couple years ago, I didn't have the passion for lifting as I do now. I have the itch and it feels awesome.

Looking forward to seeing what my body looks like in 6 months.

Yesterday I had a minor but significant reminder that good girls do exist, but sometimes we automatically pre-filter them out because we're too deep into this whole redpill / game tunnel vision.

Met her in my dojo, talked a few times but nothing much. Yesterday I was hosting a hangout with a bunch of friends. I told her to come, she agreed. Sound a bit too good to be true since in Paris to organize everything you d need to tell people several days ahead of times.

I sent her a few logistics text, she didn't answer. Like the good Parisian I am of course that means she would flake. We moved the meeting time back an hour, didn't think to inform her. As I was about to leave I got a call from her, exactly the time we conferred. She was already there and surprised that no one was there. It turns out that for her if you said you would come then you simply come at the appointed time and place, she didn't really understand the whole confirmation texting thing.

I offered her the first round for my horrible "Parisian" behaviors. She didn't even know what to choose, she has only been to a bar a few times. Very pleasant girl and a bit child-like, too bad she's not my type at all. She had to leave before midnight and she sent a text to both apologize for leaving early and to thank me for getting her out.

I do believe many of us can pull ONS in club/day game without a hustle but wouldn't know what to do if you drop a good girl in their lap. I'm making an effort to look wider than the local pictures and appreciate quality behaviors when I see it.

Moved into a new apartment in the burbs, bigger, cheaper, better. Two floor penthouse in a somewhat quiet neighborhood.

Published four books this year, with first audiobook soonish.

Money's tight, but 2019 is going to be a good year. I've got a goal to write 8 books next year.
