Cool! I often download documentaries to my iPod when I have a flight rather than watch the lame romantic comedy they show. I'll queue up some of these.

Ken Burns does some amazing documentaries. The War is my pick from his lineup.
If someone starts a Michael Moore documentary I'll get up and walk out.

I cant believe no one put Religulous with Bill Mahr. Best documentary ever! I used to watch it every time I had a girl over and ramped kino and makout about halfway through. You cant help but agree with Bills viewpoints. Even die hard religious girls in the bible belt states were laughing their ass off at certain points.

I've just started watching The Human Planet (BBC, 2011) - great series taking a nature documentary approach to people who live in unusual or extreme conditions around the world.
The Ascent of Money (

Inside Job (2010)
Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (2008)
Encounters at the End of the World (2007)
Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010)
Lessons of Darkness (1992)

Is that the best one from BBC? I know they have a few nature documentaries.

American Hardcore - I gotta check that out. I got the black flag bars tatted on my arm when I was 16 by a homemade tattoo gun.
Pbs has some good documentaries on their website. I can't wait until I get Netflix going on my Ps3 so I can start checking some of these out.

EHHHHHH.
Supersize Me was such a fine piece of American "It's not our fault we're all morbidly obese" crap.
Movies like that create a crutch for fat people everywhere.
I remember when I saw this back in 2004, I specifically went to McDonalds afterwards and ate a huge Big Mac meal out of spite. (and I NEVER eat McDonalds)

Struggling to find decent torrents for many of these documentaries. Does anyone know of a good online source for streaming documentaries etc?
