Anyone personally been to PUA bootcamp?

Got some replies from the bootcamps I've sent my requests, and so far it looks like Samseau is absolutely right.
For all of them the essence is that "a typical student has 'I want you, I need you' mentality, and we change it to 'I want you, but I don't need you".
And when you ask them what if mine is "I'm sure I don't need you, and I'm not even sure I want you", this is something they have no experience with.

You should take a RSD bootcamp with Jeffy in San Fran.
He puts a lot of focus on intent(aka the desire to fuck girls) and bringing that out on guys based on the videos I've watched from him(I haven't been on it).
I think your issue is that pickup is a chore for you and you hate the substandard women here. The only way to bypass that is to have fun and approach women to amuse yourself but at the same time having a desire to get laid.
Once again, I haven't been on his bootcamp but thats the impression I got from reading reviews and watching his videos. So take my words with a big pinch of salt and email Jeffy to find out if he can help you with your roadblocks.

I was thinking about RSD too. Finished the "blueprint" written by Tyler D - the old 26-page PDF one, not the DVD they released. This was the most information-intense stuff I've read for a long time. Impressed me.
Will check up.

I only considered one boot camp a few years back. One of the major labels was offering a session in the Playboy Mansion. It was pricey, I thing 5K, but just to see the inside of that place seemed worth it. Not many get a chance to mack on Americas top talent. I still would do it, but need to come up with a plan beforehand. Anyone know which PUA outfit offered it?

Yep, that video is hilarous.
RSD is awesome because you learn how to have fun which is great.
The great thing is that most RSD guys have their own personality and the company's teachings encourage that. You can see it in the personalities of the different instructors.

The whole concept boggles my mind. If I wanted to learn how to pick up women that would be the last place I go. That, or my grandma.

Yep, I agree. These companies won't improve your game anymore than your average game blogger will!

Be VERY careful who you pay to teach you a bootcamp. A friend of mine works for an NYC based pickup company. He completely SUCKS with girl (no offense if you're reading this! haha), and is a bit of a creep. The company charges 4k for this charlitan to 'teach' you how to pick up girls.

A few months ago I randomly found out that a buddy of mine who I have known for 2 years teaches bootcamps for 60. His game isn't bad, but it's definitely not worth paying several hundred per night for this guy to teach you.

I've got another friend who has taken about THREE (probably more) bootcamps over the past several 2 years. He's taken bootcamps with Jeffy and Tim of RSD, and a bootcamp with Badboy (Lol). He didn't get laid much after any of these bootcamps, and I'm pretty sure that he regrets wasting his money.

I know a bunch of people in NYC who have taken RSD bootcamps. Most of them actually got pretty good after their bootcamps and have very few regrets. I honestly believe that they are justifying the high cost of the bootcamp by saying it was worth it.

Different people prefer to learn/improve different ways. Some prefer putting more effort (time). Some prefer to "shortcut" by spending money to hire someone. I'm not saying everyone should take a bootcamp, but assuming you wouldn't learn anything from one - especially from the one you haven't been on personally - is kinda ignorant.

And why does it boggle your mind? Some things you simply cannot learn by reading the book (skydiving, for example). But for the most things when you are still learning, you can always benefit from a honest feedback of someone else, and a feedback from someone who have seen quite a bunch of students before would be even more valuable.

You could also go to a normal party at the Playboy Mansion. I can help you get tickets to a party there if you're interested. It's not cheap, something like $1500-$2000 but there will be plenty of playmates and the ratio should be good.

This will give you an idea of what it's like: http://www.kandyevents.com/PhotoGallery?...&AlbumId=1

You are the man Caligula. I might take you up on that next year. Gonna need some time to prep for that event. Like getting in mad shape and go to EE and game model quality ho's. And a good cover story wouldn't hurt. I've got game but not Playboy model game. That's a whole new league.

I did Jeremy Soul's day game bootcamp with Love Systems last year in NYC.

The cost for the one day workshop was $1500, so I thought I would be the instructor and maybe 2 or 3 other students. Turns out he has about 15 students in the class and like 5 guys to "help" him run the bootcamp. He did a 2 hour lecture in the morning, and then everyone broke out into groups in the afternoon. I saw Jeremy Soul for total about 30 minutes in the field, and he did nothing for me. I spent most of the day with an "intern" who was probably trying to get a job with Love systems. At the end of the day we all met up and Jeremy gave everyone a "critique".

The whole thing was a complete waste of time. I called Love systems on the Monday following at asked for a full refund, and they gave it to me.
It was obvious they just wanted to pack as many people as possible into the workshop, and hoped that nobody would complain. I did complain, and since then they changed it to a weekend workshop.

I think Jeremy soul has got a big ego because he works for Love Systems. I do not think he has anything of value to offer single men who are trying to improve their game, he is only trying to fund his own life style.

Not to bash Jeffy, but I've met someone who took his bootcamp and then took a Love Systems bootcamp and liked the latter a lot more. According to him, what Jeffy essentially did was tell him to "have no game talk and keep approaching women". There was very little breakdown of what to do, and the feedback consisted primarily of "inner game topics" such as intent etc.

Not saying he's a bad teacher or the material he teaches is shit, but just wanted to throw out there the experience one guy I know had.

do NOT take an RSD bootcamp. This past Friday night in NYC I ran into Jeffy, and on Saturday I saw Tyler. These guys are weird as FUCK. Tyler was rolling up to fat/ugly girls, lifting them up, and literally said "I am an ex-con, but I'm really friendly!" The girls had horrified looks on their faces and were completely weirded out afterwards. The whole thing looked like nothing more than a drunken, embarrassing public scene. Do you really want to drop $2k+ to have some gremlin looking guy tell you to approach girls and say weird shit? Based on what I saw, I can't imagine those guys banging anything other than fat chicks.

I hold a huge biased against RSD, because listening to their shit over the years seriously messed up my head. Caused me to think of irrelevant stuff- "did I react properly to her?" "Am I sexworthy?" "Self amusement." Pure garbage.

I actually have taken a bootcamp. It was with a company that is not mainstream, and I was one of their first students so it was reasonable. I'd highly advise against it. You might learn a thing or two, but it's nothing you can't learn from finding friends who are already good at picking up girls. You're better off just moving to a city such as NYC or LA, finding friends who know their shit, and learning for free.

Here's my two cents- RSD stuff can mess you up if you get in your head too much and think about that shit too much. But if you just go out and have fun then you'll really enjoy it.

I find it hard to believe that Tyler and Jeffy are incompetent. Maybe you caught them on a bad night or maybe they were warming up? In any case looking at one interaction and making a judgement is stupidity, both of them admit that they are shit. Tyler says it takes him 2 hours to build up momentum.

In any case I will base my judgement of my friends who have learned from RSD teachings for 3-5 years. They get laid quite a lot. They're also really cool guys who are great to hang out with.

Before anyone accuses me of being a fanboy, I admit a lot of RSD principles annoy the shit out of me. The idea of "Beast Mode" annoys me because doing crazy amounts of approaches in an environment like college is stupid as fuck and can label you as a creepy guy quickly. Also, RSD principles don't work that well for day game.

Roosh's approach seems to be a lot more effective in the day time(especially for beginners). I wasted a lot of time trying to be loud and self amusing in the daytime even though it doesn't get any real results.

However, I don't see anything wrong with taking a RSD bootcamp if you want to do night game. I see them as the most effective teachers of night game.

Weird. I'm relatively anti-PUA, but saw two of Jeff's videos on YouTube. I recognized the venues, and while the girls weren't models, they were cute-enough.

Here's a pretty cool event in SF. He pulled a chick at the end.
