Welcome to my first post here players. I have been in the game about 12 years. Have a home base in Canada but have been mostly traveling the world since 2008. Some 60 countries deep.

About to fly to Cartagena tonight until Jan 11th and then Medellin for 3-6 months. I previously spent 3 months in Medellin in 2014.

I found Medellin quite a challenge game wise. I started with 0 spanish and it took me over a month to get my first lay but finished with around 12-14. Over all a fair cut in quantity and quality compared to what I get at home in toronto but this time around I think I am coming in a lot stronger.

Goals for this trip

0) Decide if I permanently want to move to Colombia. After almost a decade of traveling I am starting to think of settling down and the winter is just to much for me in Canada. Medellin is currently at the top of the list and I am hoping to have made a decision by March to put my condo in Toronto up for sale in april.

1) Girls girls girls(online,day,night game)

2) Get conversational in spanish (all dates in spanish. finish all lvls pimsler spanish by the time I leave. spanish lessons starting in feb. 1 month no english only spanish at end of trip)

3) Get comprehensive understanding of Medellin real estate market and look for apartments to buy.

4) Make local and expat friends and connections (social and business)


What worked for me in Medellin;
Collect whatsapp numbers on mass. Relentlessly spam all numbers about meeting up. such as "Quires salir conmigo esta noche o manana?" twice the first week then maybe down to once a week after. Occasionally send a funny pic. with any girls that respond Set up meet to closest subway station or public attraction to my house. Always txt the day before meet telling them what to wear. txt day of telling them to txt me when they are leaving. If either of these dont get response I txt asking if they are confirmed. If they dont respond to any of these or they are slow or indecisive I try to double or triple book the time slot. and never mention anything about the flake and just keep spamming for the meet. Once the girl txt she is on her way I tell her to lmk when she is there. I dont ever leave my place until they txt that they are there.
On the date hug right away they hold hands and lead for a walk. Either walk to my place or to the grocery store depending on how ready she is. back at my place chill, maybe dance or watch youtube, escalate, close. Chill after close. girl always comes back

From having read through some other peoples success here on the forums I have some ideas on adjustments I will do this time around. Try to set up dates less in advance. Even more physically affectionate before the pull. Even less humour and cockyness

Day -2 : Got a girlfriend to clean the mold in my bathroom while I set up Cupid profile. My first time pipelining


Day 0 : Didnt have time to sleep and packed my bags 20min before the taxi picks me up for the airport. Forgot a bunch of shit lol. Arrived in Cartagena Got 22 numbers from online. but there is the biggest edm festival in latin america this weekend here and I got stuck paying 75k cop a night for bunked in a dorm room in Boquilla. Beach is nice but I think the numbers are useless until I get private room.

Day 1 : worked, got 5 more online numbers told one girl to meet but flake due to bad logistics here at night. hung out with some swiss girls and talked a lot of spanish smoking a j. booked a airbnb room but 24h waiting period

I don't even know where to start with that original post. I think the trend on the forum now is to give guys like this the benefit of the doubt, so I will just leave him alone. I will say that I have clearly explained how to get or at least how to make a strong effort to get the best quality in Medellin. Even if that doesn't work, you might get some girls by accident while doing it. That's what happened to me.

Medellin is on my where to live list not where to travel to list. Many factors but big atractors are climate and economical leverage. Before I thought about it much it was a 3 way tie between Medellin, Cordoba Argentina and Boracay Philippines. After thinking it through I realized I would likely get bored on a small island like boracay, and it felt like Argentina was too risky of an investment with their crazy inflation. I might never be able to get my money out if I want to leave at some point. Where as Medellin I see an opportunity to invest in real estate and fully support my lifestyle from rent and minimal time investment.

As for the second question.. Im a natural introvert and a computer nerd. Was a semi pro computer gamer. Started my own online advertising company. I go out a lot but most of my results have always come from online. This summer I did a 30 day challenge going out every day and no online game whatsoever and banged 1 single new girl. The next month I got 9 new girls from online with way less effort and time investment

Some car companies have promotions in the Mall Santa Fe and have models posted up by the cars and you can just approach them and proceed from there. Normal approach, or ask them if they want coffee, or hand them flowers or whatever you want. Just don't tell them el mono sent you. Please don't.

Good luck OP. I spent 1 month in Colombia in Nov 2015 (including 1 week in Cartagena / 2 weeks in Medellin) and it was awesome.

Might go back to Medellin for 3 months this Fall as part of a RTW trip - would be interested in connecting with other RVFers then as well.

Random tips from lessons learned on my own trip:

- Cartagena is a good getaway spot, but pretty cheesy and touristy, also really humid and hot. Couldn't see myself living here. More appropriate for 2-4 week vacation but to each their own

- Check out EAFIT (private university) in Medellin as a spot to day game and possibly take Spanish classes. The campus is really nice by Colombian standards and the girl-guy ratio is really good. Their gym memberships are also fairly priced and have great equipment / talent.

- Be careful of cabs, especially at night and if you've been drinking. Use EasyTaxi app for more convenience and security.

- Daytrip to El Penon in Guatape is a neat experience. Meet a chica and invite her along for the day trip.

- Avoid Pablo Escobar in conversations as its stereotypical and overplayed, but check out Narcos season 1 and 2 on Netflix to have an idea of their history. And book a private Pablo Escobar tour through a hostel just for giggles.

- Juan Valdez Cafe coffee is so good and so strong. Puts Starbucks to shame.

- The Charlee Hotel in Parque Lleras is super swanky. Their rooftop bar has panoramic views of the city and is really posh. I took a chic on a date here once and she loved it. The gym membership is pricey here but well equipped, and apparently solid 9 model types work out here. A digital nomad I met told me that's how he met his supermodel Colombian gf

- If you play poker, the live cash games are pretty soft at Casino Rio and full of characters, especially on weekends.

- Poblado is cool and very convenient with all the bars, clubs, coffee shops, and nightlife, etc, but if you want a more "Colombian experience," stay in Laureles or the Estadio district. Your Spanish will probably improve more rapidly too as there's less gringos around.

Yeah, forget Pablo Escobar. Nothing good will come from ever mentioning his name. I also think this politics stuff needs to go when talking to girls, regardless of nationality. I've never brought it up once with girls, but as far as I have seen it will either cockblock you or it won't make a difference.

Sure man I arrive in Medellin on wednesday and am down to chill.

So yesterday I finally got my own room in Cartagena. We walk around centro for a bit then cab to my apartment cause I have "music so we can salsa". I have to flake on my second date at this point. we stop close to my place to eat then walk to my place. On the way to my room the old grampa that lives there sees us and gives the evil eye. The girl is scared to come to my room and is hiding in the living room but I get her to come. then the grampa comes and stands at the door to my room and stares at us lol. I close the door and put on some music and we dance in the tiny lil space at the foot of my bed. We makeout but she doesnt want to take her cloths of cause of the grampa might come. I tell her is is deaf and cant hear us. When I finally get her cloth off and am sucking on some big tities I hear a knock on my door. When I open it... I kid you not.. the entire fucking family of 7 people is there! 3 generations of cock blocks ! they all seem super mad that I have a visitor fml. I talk to them for a few min then walk the girl out and give her 10mil for a taxi and go back to talk to the family again. Im super fuckin chill and good vibes so it isnt long before they all love me again and I manage to negotiate a 25% refund on my room cause it wasnt clear that no visitors allowed when I booked. But I cant have any one over again.

With no place to pull I message all my numbers telling them to invite me over to their house and cook for me but dont think anything is gonna come through cause every one lives w their parents. Probably for the best cause shortly after I get a message from one of my regular girls back home saying she has chlamydia, and with what we did before I left Im assuming I have it too currently even though I tested clean just a couple weeks ago. SO now I gota find a doc to give me a prescription and im out of the game for the next week at least.

On the plus side my spanish has been rapidly improving. I think im already at the lvl I left off at when I left colombia the last time

I always make sure I get my own apartment to ensure this kind of stuff doesn't happen. If you're renting a room from someone's house assume that they won't let girls over.

In terms of online, I find the selection and quality is limited as compared to IRL. With tinder I ran out of girls pretty fast, and real life numbers were way more solid.

I think the real life ROI on time spent is way better.

This time in Medellin will be way better for you, since you'll have better Spanish. Medellin is definitely easier than TO for me at this point, and if you're putting in a decent amount of work its not hard to have 3-4 dates a week. I think I did like 7-8 nightgame approaches last time I was there and ended up getting half of them out on dates. Even 2 minute numbers resulted in dates, I think there's a certain point you reach where you seperate yourself from the no-English gringos who are clueless.

Also, I don't find spamming for meetups worked well for me in Medellin. What worked for me was investing more into each interaction. Once I got a good conversational flow going it was way easier to meetup.

Prices of real estate in Argentina are absolutely not impacted by the inflation in local peso currency, as apartments and houses' prices are quoted and determined by the owners in USD. I mean, an apartment proposed at 75.000 usd in Argentina, will remain at the same (usd) price in spite of the peso inflation.
Also, if you (legally) sell your property in Argentina, you will be (especially as a foreigner) at liberty to wire the funds back to your home country. It's not Venezuela, it's post-K Argentina...

It seems like what happened is exactly what you'd expect to happen...especially when it's a family and not some other young dudes. My first time in Medellin I rented a room from some guy who is a player and didn't mind guests. If you don't find anybody who doesn't mind guests, there are always love motels.

Best bet, spend the money for an apartment. Privacy and peace of mind.

Yes guys mistakes were made. I wasnt certain but I thought the place was gonna be my own apartment when I booked it online. Cartagena is super busy at the moment and every thing from dorm rooms in hostels to apartments is either full or ridiculously expensive. If I had known I would not have come at this time cause I am frugal and cheap as fuck usually traveling well below my means. Plus I am spoiled at home with women buying me shit all the time and paying for dates and dinners exc... when I was in Colombia before a part of me died the first time I gave a girl money for a taxi lol

Anyway I have a nice pad in Poblado ready to go on the 17th. Prob gonna hostal and couch surf till then

Ok so last time I tried a lot of different stuff. including investing a lot with two girls from online getting to know them on a broad and deep lvl. Neither of those two met up and it pissed me off. On the other hand I had cases where a girl was flaky and unresponsive for like 10 times of inviting her out then on the 11th time she says ok and shows up and fucks. Couple questions;

Any one can recommend a place for std testing in Medellin? Id like to find some place that I can send my steady gfs to to get tested that will print results or send results directly to me. Dont really want to trust girls with this and with the language barrier its harder for me to read people if they tell the truth. dont mind paying for the tests myself.

Any recomendations on MMA, Muay Thai, or kravmaga gyms in Medellin? I know a good one close to oviedo want to look into other options too.

Finally got my apartment today! like 5-10min walk to park Poblado. Nice pool!

Last few day was staying in a hostal being pretty anti social. between the antibiotics I took and people coughfing on me in the dorm room wasnt feeling that good.

Used the time to go a lil over kill on online game. Got 178 numbers from cc and tinder from girls in Medellin in the last 4 days.

Had 4 dates lined up today. SHortly after checkin to my pad I met up with a girl at park poblado, got some tea at the carulla across the street, chilled in the park, back to carulla to buy toilet paper then walked to my place. Chill for a lil but my throught was hurting and the girl wasnt all that so didnt escalate. walked her back to her moto. She sent me bunch of sexy txts after so I think its a easy lay next time or might pawn her off n try n get in her social circle to upgrade. Mutual flakes on the other 3 dates. have a bunch of dates lined up for the next few days.

Later Tonight got 3 wings rollin in from Toronto. 2 of them work for rsd. Should be party times for the next month
