Does not using male grooming products have a positive effect on game?

I only just heard about the concept of not using shampoo/conditioner when you shower. The reason for this is that shampoos and conditioners are harmful to your hair (for more information, visit: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoPoo/). One alleged side effect of not using shampoo is that your hair will look better without it.

This got me thinking about other grooming products that could potentially work against you - more specifically: shower gel, deodorants, and fragrances. My reason for thinking that each of these items could potentially work against you when trying to attract women is because of the role of pheromones in attracting a girl. Does anyone have any experience of not using any of these for an extended period of time? Did you notice a difference in how women treated you?

Also, where is the equilibrium between exuding pheromones and not stinking like a hobo?

Skip deodorant and tell me how that goes for you.

^ Bro do you even baking soda?

I've used no shampoo or deodorant for two years. Just soap and baking soda. Girls tell me I smell nice.

I'd recommend trying it.

For the past few years i have been shaving with a straight razor using no products. A few weeks ago though, I shaved and get really bad razor bumps and black heads all over. It was maybe because i took some antibiotics for something but that never happened before. Anyways I ended up looking up why i got the razor bumps and now I use Proraso White Shaving Soap In A Bowl Sensitive shaving cream and then Nivea men sensitive skin after shave balm after I dry up. The Proraso is great because it comes in a bowl so I just heat up my brush with hot water, later it up in the bowl then apply it to my face. No need to have your own bowl. A little goes a long way and I think that bowl is going to last me years.

No shampoo or conditioner, noticed my hair is a lot thicker and healthier looking. As for shower soap, I generally only use those products around my genitals and under pits or if I'm really dirty, I'll wash my body with it.

No different reactions from women that I've noticed. I have no body odour so I might not be the best representation of the majority of guys who will smell if they don't take care of themselves. Haven't used deodorant or antiperspirant since I was in high school.

It's a classic thread: thread-4519.html

If you search 'baking soda' on here you'll find even more.

How have people missed this? I though it was part of the ten RVF commandments. [Image: lol.gif]

Honestly bro, it goes pretty well for me. Depends on the genes and where you live though. If I lived in a permanently warm place that would be impossible. I also know people who start sweating like crazy no matter where they are or how cool it is. Just the luck of the draw. I trim my armpit hair and have 0 sweat or smell.

Same for not shampooing hair or showering without shower gel. Obviously use some product on your dick ass, don't be nasty

Bad thread title. It should read:

Does not using grooming products containing chemicals have a positive effect?

Grooming products (clippers, safety razor, moisturiser) are all important for men who want to look their best.

Since I started using natural hand-made soap and a natural plant-based shampoo/ conditioner (2-3 times per week) my skin and hair have greatly improved.

I think tasteful cologne is a worthy investment... but by all means experiment with what works for you.
