It's a shame to see someone fighting for the truth, be fought off like this. We need more people like Julian Assange to be honored and celebrated. Not ridiculed and shut down.

I can't see Julian staying there much longer if Ecuador themselves are putting a squeeze on him. Obviously they could have expelled him if they really want him gone, this step is probably to get him to decide to leave on his own.

British police are monitoring the embassy. As soon as he steps out of the gates he is done for.

I was about to say the same thing. Without Internet access, what's he going to do in there? I wonder what the US threatened the Ecuadorian government with to get them to take this action?

Anyway, can't someone deliver a cell phone to Assange and he can connect to the Internet over a cellular band?

Why do you think it was a threat? Our government probably just bought them off with money or political favors.

British police: Can't be bothered with clearing the streets of muslim rapers and kiddie fiddlers but can staff a surveillance team 24-7 at the behest of the U.S. government.

Can anyone confirm what these pre-commitment codes are for? From Gizmodo (a Gawker source, hence my question): "Essentially those unique codes are proof to anyone reading the documents in the future that their contents remain unchanged: alteration to the leaks will likewise alter those 64-character codes."

In other news, apparently Pamela Anderson stopped by the embassy to give Assange a vegan lunch:

It was unavoidable... actually, I predicted Ecuador applying pressure and eventually turning on Assange, 2 weeks ago on the forum (post went unnoticed, but...):

What was this thread about?

Julian Assange.

Some bastards are always derailing threads.

I'm so sick of it. [Image: angry.gif]

More like this thread got derailed by focusing too much on Pamela Anderson's body instead of talking about Julian Assange's situation.

Reddit has someone monitoring the ground situation there as a Fox News broadcast says he will be arrested within hours.

Now Fox may have been told to do this to see what would happen and force him to leave on his own accord when nothing of the sort was going to occur. Then they get him on british soil.

The Left's silence on the suppression and silencing of Julian Assange is deafening.

Incorrect. The genuine and progressive Left has been the bullwark of Julian's support. It's the regressive Right and Libtards who have been attacking him and seeking his extradition to Sweden on trumped up rape charges.

Only selectively, only when he was outing Bush.

Right now I'm not seeing any liberals save maybe Dave Rubin doing anything but 1 of 3 things:

1) Discrediting the Podesta Emails or saying that they don't uncover anything very damning. (eg. Sam Harris)

2) Staying silent.

3) Actively celebrating, maybe because Assange is a Russian agent. (Maybe this last part is mostly "regressives")

^Traktor seems to be "old-school CCCP"- (or Trotskyst- even) Left. Problem with that is, communists are globalists (internationalists), anti-borders by definition (though they do build walls, lol, the sneaky liars) and misplaced old principles. They are therefore dangerous, mass migrations (essentially from Sub-Saharan zones) being the number-1 danger for all our developed civilizations.

(In any case, I do not consider the government of Belarus, which I instinctively respect, a communist one: they are, in my book, a Nationalist Right-Wing anti-globalist, anti-migrants, government. Much respect to Belarus. But does Traktor understand this? Yesterday's communists have become today's right-wingers, de facto - Not so surprising if you remember Herr Ribbentrop... ach, how communists hate this inconvenient name and the memories attached to it)

The picture that infuriates and triggers the Left, 100% (cause it reminds them that Hitler was their good friend and ally):
