My cousin used to have a boat at Diversey Harbor. It was awesome because it was less than a mile from where I lived in the city. Unfortunately I ended up getting married shortly after he bought the boat.

My advice to you young guys, pitch in with a group and buy a boat. It is a total money suck. They say a boat is a whole in the water that you pour money into. It's true.

But if you have a boat, it doesn't even have to be that fancy you will get tail. I knew a guy growing up who barely ever went out on the water. He stayed tied up at the dock and just partied on board.

Boaters and boat culture is something I meant to get into more this year. Find someone else who has a boat and throw them a few bucks and with your mad game bring the chicas.
