Hello to all the players and players in training on this forum, I am CollegeboyUW. An Incoming Sophomore into WA state flagship university.
How I found about this forum:
I found this forum after I got into a car accident during the summer before my freshman year of college, I was out for the first quarter (best time) due to a jaw injury and minor brain damage. During the recovery period of my surgery, I found out how unsatisfied I was with my life and the direction it was heading. You see I come from a family where you sort of give up your individuality and what you want to be a part of the family and for a long time I was ok with that, until my accident. After my car accident, I had this sort of awakening. I realized I wanted to travel, acquire new tastes, meet people from different countries and all these other things. That’s when I decided to become my own man and assume absolute control of my life (used to ask my parents to do stuff and relied on them to take care of me). that’s when I found boldanddetermined.com, then found more and more of sites similar to him. Then I found rooshv.com then this forum and got to know the game. That’s the short story of how I found out about this forum.
A little bit about me and some funny things:
I grew up in a very poor and dangerous area and the turnout rate for high school graduates and future college students in the place I grew up and went to high school in was very low, so I worked really hard in high school and took IB (International baccalaureate) the hardest classes you could take in high school worldwide and because of that I got into my school tuition free for all 4 years and a few scholarships I acquired over the years give me about 3 grand every quarter to help me with school.
After my surgery and initial 3-month recovery, the doctor said that I should skip another quarter of school (10 weeks) because the left side of my jaw was still very swollen and I couldn’t control it which meant I kept drooling on the left side of my mouth. I couldn’t afford to miss school or I would be so far behind, so I went! The first month of school I was walking around with a machine that would suck up my saliva and a bucket so when I was in commute from class to class I wouldn’t drool on myself. everybody was acting like I had a case of Ebola, but I didn’t give a fuck. Due to coming, I was able to get back on track for school. the only problem was for a while I was a little bit slow, but I’m completely normal now.
When I had my surgery I was 5’10, after 3 months of just sitting in bed and sleeping, I am a whopping 6’1 ½.
