Also, if he were really honest, he'd start talking about how affirmative action has disproportionately "helped" black women even more than any other group, which ironically in the end still leaves them unfulfilled. There's so much more to be said but for many reasons, I'll just leave it alone.

It is common knowledge that affirmative action has helped out white females the most.

Probably explains why game and this forum are so popular.

Seems like further discussion of this guy belongs in Everything Else, not Game.

I said this in the context of Tariq's issues and complaints which have to do with black woman/man dynamics. I agree it has "helped" (read: given them advantaged status through sexism) white women more, mainly because there are more white women, and they are more educated/credentialed as well.

@Kid Twist

You do not know what you are talking about, but just felt the need to complain about a person and topics you know nothing about.

Black women are the most educated group in America.

Just so we are clear, the same "programs" are in effect north of the border, but all I see is white women with their fancy useless marketing jobs making stupid money.

None of this goes against anything I've said.

I also don't care about "education" as a proxy for "credentialed in some way". It means nothing to me. I extend that same thinking to every man, woman or child, regardless of race.

I'm not complaining about anything, just pointing out how silly Nasheed is when he stepped outside of obvious biological realities and the man-woman dynamic.

The bottom line is this: The guy probably has valuable advice regarding game for some that are particularly in tune with his point of view and style. That's good. But he delves into other brainless analysis, diluting much of his credibility. We can all find many guys with great advice without the idiocy attached.

Tariq isn't the only game guru who has fallen into the race baiting foolishness, Player Supreme did the same, though he is much less militant than Tariq has become.

Doesn't mean they don't know game. If you go through their old shows there is still some great game info from both guys.

Well yeah, I didn't say that they don't know their shit, but there's something about the arc of a game guru that always seems to lead them to race based politics. I'm pretty much just echoing Moma here, and i'm not picking on the black guys only. Roissy had the same arc. I think it's the evopsych angle that leads them there.

For what it's worth PS still has a lot of good content on his channel, but it's horribly organized. He's at least respectful of differing opinions and leans both left and right depending on the issue. However I don't understand why these guys who made their bones talking about game think they're the authority on anything other than that, it's a hardcore ego trip in my opinion.

^ Having personally met a few game gurus, some have admitted this:

The guys who have the drive to become game gurus usually have a massive chip on their shoulder that drove them to become a game guru.

Catch is, once they become a game guru, the chip doesn't automatically lessen or go away.

The black cernovich with a MUCH bigger emphasis on race and main selling point is creating controversy.

That's my very brief, very limited synopsis.

I'm sure his game is great but that's not the reason he's in the spot light right now.

That guy got destroyed on Tucker's show. I didn't know he was a game guru until reading this thread.

Ouch, that was painful to watch.

Maybe he needs to decline doing media interviews but I hope he doesn't. Watching him get destroyed like that was entertaining.

This is just my half-baked philosophy, but I think game makes people conscious of how the human mind naturally leans towards tribalism. So, some gamers/players will make the mistake of focusing on their ethnic tribe and the other "enemy" ethnic tribes, instead of looking at it as being part of a tribe of red-pill men of all ethnicities.

What a disingenuous twat Tariq has become! Race identity politics fucks with people's heads. That host for that show was cucking out towards the end, saying "how can you say america is a white supremacist country when we let in mostly brown people?" What a supplicating faggot!

Man, that was really embarrassing. What's even more embarrassing is that there are people in the comments actually defending Tariq. I read his book The Mack Within some time back and I liked it, but my opinion of him has completely changed after watching that video.

Tariq is obviously an intelligent guy and successful businessman, so something like this bears closer inspection because on the surface it seems out of character.

I watched it again, and thought about it a bit, and I have come to a different conclusion about what he was doing than my original impression.

He knew going in that Carlson was going to try to make him look bad. I have enjoyed many of Carlson's recent vids, but you have to admit he has been kind of going after nobodies to make his points, like that kid who wanted to burn the American Flag, or that dumb dude who was defending Castro.

Why of all people did he pick Nasheed? I know he is a successful author and Youtuber, but he doesn't seem like a serious target for a mainstream news show. Like when Carlson went after that Muslim Georgetown professor, that seemed like it made sense.

Going after Nasheed seemed closer to going after that college student or dopey Castro lover to me, like he was using an every day person who would be easy to dominate to make his points.

Nasheeds tweet didn't actually say anything inflammatory, it was all insinuation. Not that great a target really, unless Nasheed has a far bigger following than I think he does.

Watching it again, I realized that since Nasheed is smart enough to know why he is being interviewed, and how they plan to use him, so why go on the show?

What was his reason and his game plan?

I think he was trying to do the same thing to Carlson that Carlson was doing to him. I don't think he ever planned to get in any sort of reasonable debate at all.

He came on with the attitude of speaking truth to power to a closet white supremacist, and that is what he did, only he wasn't speaking to Carlson or his audience, he was using the appearance on the show to speak directly to his own user base.

He was reaffirming his own views in a larger venue than his own, and sending out the message to all of his normal listeners that he wasn't going to clean it up, even on national media. He was going to charge straight ahead, admit nothing, and hit all of his usual talking points.

I don't think he could have cared less how he came across to the average guy on the street, or what people said in his Twitter feed.

He was sending out a secret message to his loyal followers, something that, because they have been listening to him a while, only they could pick up on, signalling the fact that he was strong in his message, no matter what the venue, and no matter who he was talking to.

Not a hard and fast theory here, I am just trying to make sense of a puzzling event, and would be curious to hear what others think.

^^ Good analysis.

We'll likely never know. It was clearly a typical hit piece by Fox News. TN doesn't even support BLM and yet the graphics portrayed him as a BLM activist to rile up their anti-intellectual base.

Every other word coming out of Tariq's mouth these days is White Supremacy. And that is no exaggeration. I tried watching his recent video about Castro's death, only got about 8 minutes in. He kept going on about "white supremecist cubans" or some nonsense while saying Castro was a "hero for Africans"

What an absolute historical ignorant.

Such a fall from grace as I used to hold Tariq in high regard for his game knowledge.
