Also Compound's web traffic has probably dropped by about two thirds since he left.

I don't know if you can get Compound from any outlets beyond the site, but judging from the traffic it's pulling in $3 million / year tops.

I know it's tough to try and squeeze money out of news/commentary online, but I'm not a fan of the pay model. Gavin's Rebel videos routinely got 300K-1M views. Now he's stuck behind a pay wall probably struggling to get an audience of 30K / show.
