It very well could be just a cry for masculine authority to say "no". But then again, I still have a feeling that such demonic and evil "art" comes from a place of deep hurt. Someone probably abused her as a child. I can't imagine she or that Abramovic woman had normal childhoods. Not to say that all people who are abused turn out "damaged" but I can't help but think that abuse is part of what makes a person go off the deep end to such a degree that it would require such foul abominations to be produced as an adult.

Proud Boys evolved from a long running joke on his show.

I don't know. It's Gavin's logic, not mine. I agree that choosing such an outlandish name is definitely his way of promoting his own personal brand.

Plenty of good laughs. The style of writing puts me in mind of Spike Milligan's war memoirs (albeit filthier) in the casual, matter-of-fact recounting of extraordinary circumstances and unusual people.

i'll take the other side of the bet - at any odds - though of course it would be almost impossible to know who came out on top.

i am almost certain that she has NOT been sexually abused as a child. her "art" is perverse, disturbing and simply DEMONIC, but it is also extremely REAL and comes from a place of truth and NOT pain.

i do know quite a bit about communism - i was born in soviet union almost 34 years ago and grew up/finished high-school in "independent" ukraine before (legally) emmigrating to the states for college on a "refugee" visa that usa jews heavily lobbied for for the soviet jews.

i haven't looked deeply into the communist past of my country, but based on what my dad told me (he was born in 1948, so make your own conclusions), tsarist russia was ripe for a revolution and it happened from the inside. when lenin saw that the communist utopia prophecied by Marx and Engels ain't happening (their theory was the communist wild-fire will spread immediately and commie-revolutions in other countries will follow with "perfect utopia" settling in immediately) he changed gears immediately, dropped one of the biggest ideological points of that philosophy and introduced NEP. my grad-pa was a kid back then (he was born in 1914) but he told me that life has improved immediately and noticeably. i think it's who came afterwards [especially paranoid stalin] who fucked things up and killed a great idea.
