Memories of Murder. Based on a true story korean film about catching a serial killer. The end is understated and creepy. I don't recommend spoiling it if you've never seen it.

A Bittersweet Life. Korean Road Rage. Byung Hun Lee is so good but completely wasted in Hollywood movies.

Quoted all the time but still good. Just a powerful scene. Best Tarantino's ever written.

Kill Bill 2. Buried alive.

In the mood for love. Subtle glance communicates everything.

This film thoroughly confused me, but Phoenix' acting is extraordinary, this scene in particular is chilling. The border between Phoenix and Hoffman is excellent; both man at his most primal and his most stoic. Hoffman maintaining frame until his ideology is questioned is golden; there's a lesson in there.

By sheer amount of crazy, powerful and emotional scenes, it is hard to beat Apocalypse Now! Even the intro fires me up.

Richard Wagner's Ride of the Walkiries themed Helicopter squad attack.

Kilgore's balls and madness:

Lance's acid trip under enemy fire.

Or phenomenally played Marlon Brando's Coronel Kurtz

Surprised not to see this yet. The sacrifice, the agony, the righteous vengeance combined with that score make this one of the best, most moving endings to a film yet.

One of the best intros to a film ever. Especially when you learn the full significance of it at the end.

The opening scene to "Incendies" (2010).

I was attempting to gauge which single scene from Akira would be most apt.
Screw it, I'll just link to the whole movie :

This scene describes my feelings if and when the West collapses, while I'm watching from relative safety abroad.

It's the scene from Star Trek 3 when Kirk must sacrifice his beloved Enterprise to save his crew.

Breaking down the analogy:

Klingons = Socialists (feminism is just socialism for women)
Enterprise = The West
Kirk and his crew = Roosh and his fellow expats

"My God, Bones...what have I done?"

"What you had to do, what you always do. Turn death into a fighting chance to live."

It's a good analogy for the death-and-rebirth nature of "swallowing the pill". Great film by the way! Though II, IV, and VI are my favourites.

Not a movie, but a damned good show. tl;dr, plane crashes on mysterious island, Jack was on the plane to return his father's body to LA. Sawyer was the last person to see him alive, Jack didn't know until this scene. Jack was fighting with his father, this scene revealed his father's real thoughts about him.

Ed Harris shows us how to go into battle - doing your tie up, wearing a banging white waistcoat, a flat top you could land a Chinook on and a stare daring naysayers to expand on the wank they've just spat out.

Asian Movies:
I wanted to post this scene as well but El Chinito loco beat me to it during my 3-day ban. I'll second that this is a great movie and you shouldn't watch this clip before you've seen the whole movie ("Memories of Murder"):
