Let's break this down:

• Hunger Games series - based on a wildly popular book. It probably would have done well anyway. The first 3 Transformers movies were not big hits because of Shia LeBoeuf - you could have switched her with Scarlett Johansen or Mila Kunis and the film still would have done well.
• X-men series - Successful series of movies long before she had anything to do with them. Wasn't well known when casted for X-Men First Class..almost certainly penned a multi movie deal when she was unknown, so she’s not getting paid well for the movies.
• Silver linings playbook - OK that maybe should have been closer to a 50/50 split with Bradley Cooper, but he had more to do in the movie
• American Hustle - more of an ensemble piece and Christian Bale (definitely) and Jeremy Renner (maybe) are bigger stars than her
  

If anything most actresses are overpaid. The biggest stars are almost all male.

The fact of the matter is that nowadays there’s barely any actors left who can now “open” a movie. A couple of years ago the names Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise guaranteed $100M+ US Box office, but that’s no longer the case. This is why Hollywood now makes a lot of moves which are based on comic books, franchises or cartoons, they’re trying to get people in via their interest in the franchise, not the actor.

really any female at any level you're walking on eggshells trying to avoid lawsuits and accusations from a myriad of laws you're not even aware of.

Given studios are already cutting their budgets, making the 'talent' more difficult to work with just puts more women out of work in Hollywood.
