Bradley Cooper says he'll start sharing salary information with female co-stars

Ronda Rousey is currently the highest paid Mixed Martial Artist on the planet. Feminists and casual white knights buy into the marketing hype. The reality is: The market doesn't give two shits whether you're a man or women.

The Lawrence argument is bogus. It also opens up this fictional assumption of a gender pay disparity. Women earn dollar for dollar the exact same as a man for the same job.

This myth came about due to one exceptionally poor study which didn't include the type of job performed and the hours spent working.

The easiest possible way to destroy any feminist is this: If women earned less on the dollar than men: "Why don't companies save billions in revenue each year and hire only women???"

"Hey guys… These women are so bad at their job we must only hire men"

"But sir it will cost us billions in revenue!!!"

"It's worth it".

I've never watched or paid any attention to the Oscars, or any of those awards, but the fact that movie even got nominated for 10 awards tells me that those awards are total bullshit, or US cinema is crap right now, which it is.

The Oscars are a big fap fest. The movies nominated today are those pseudo intellectual art house Sundance flicks from the 90's…

The only difference is that some wealthy businessman realises he can capitalise on the gays, women and white knights who eat this art house bullshit up so he gives the film a big budget [Essentially a coat of paint to try and trick everyone that it isn't total shit].

Bradley Cooper is just getting more popular. He's not gay. Female fans galore but now, even more female fans. I see it as good game.

Think of it this way. He's feeding the media what he needs to get more followers and likes. Everyone wins.

This won't affect the pay gap because it's a publicity stunt.

Exactly. You see hollywood stars lobbying for progressive causes all the time.

From a garbage Salon article:

Quote:Quote:

Ryan Gosling

After Gosling and Michelle Williams’ film “Blue Valentine” got an NC-17 rating because of a scene where Gosling’s character goes down on Williams’ character, Gosling spoke out about the double standard involved in this act of censorship. As he said in a statement:

You have to question a cinematic culture which preaches artistic expression, and yet would support a decision that is clearly a product of a patriarchy-dominant society, which tries to control how women are depicted on screen… The MPAA is okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario, which is both complicit and complex. It’s misogynistic in nature to try and control a woman’s sexual presentation of self. I consider this an issue that is bigger than this film.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Promoting his movie “Don Jon” on the “Ellen” show, proud feminist Joseph Gordon-Levitt spoke out about the film’s underlying feminist sensibilities. As he put it:

My mom brought me up to be a feminist. She would always point out to my brother and me that our culture does often portray women like objects… She wanted me and my brother to be aware of it because we see these images on TV, in the movies and on magazines all the time. And if you don’t stop and think about it, it just sort of seeps into your brain and that becomes the way you perceive reality.”

Daniel Radcliffe

When the press asked him about the experience of becoming a sex symbol after “Harry Potter,” Radcliffe was quick to point to double standards in the industry, saying: “Well, the male population has had no problem sexualizing Emma Watson immediately.

Virtue Signaling along with sending out the IFF beacon to leftists that 'I'm one of you. I believe what you believe. Come watch my movie and support the cause'

Mainly just PR. The industry is firmly in control of the left so these guys have to play that game regardless of whether they're true believers or not.

Hold on. Doesn't this affect his own salary negotiation? I mean, why would the producers want to pay him big bucks if he's gonna blab about it to the female co-stars. They can just say "you want equality? We'll pay you as much as your female co-stars".

Men take their masculinity too lightly. That is, they do not value that which makes them men. They are too eager to minimize its power, to dull its sheen, and to snuff out its distinct phosphorescence.

What one does not value, is not safeguarded from outside attack.

I just wrote something on this subject

I'll just leave this here. Rich Actresses Backing Jennifer Lawrence

[Image: Jennifer-Lawrence-and-Emma-Watson-at-Fashion-Show.jpg]

Quote:Quote:

Several months ago a bunch of bloggers without facts of intuition started bemoaning how Matt Damon was being paid three suitcases full of cash more than Jessica Chastain for The Martian coming out in October. Now the movie is out and it’s clearly a Matt Damon movie starring Matt Damon being Matt Damon with an audience driving its currently $250 million worldwide box office because of Matt Damon. Jessica Chastain plays a pretty astronaut with perfect lipstick and a nice tight space suit that comes and goes in the film. Outside of the Chastain family, nobody is going to see this movie because of Jessica Chastain. She still got ten million or so, so woe fucking her tragic gender wage gap.

Emma Watson and Elizabeth Banks and a bunch of other actresses came out to ‘you go, girlfriend’ the Jennifer Lawrence lamentable tale of gender wage gap for rich actresses in Hollywood. Emma Watson cleared 15 mill on each of her final Harry Potter films, about $50 million for the movie series run. Her only movie series, from which she got cast as a twelve year old from among a bunch of other tween actresses to play the role that would run seven more films racking up big dollars. You could call it skill and ambition and talent. Or luck and fortune. Or I guess just sexism and victimization.

An E! reporter of dubious reporting skills asked Bradley Cooper what he thought about Lawrence’s complaints about pay on American Hustle and he responded that he hadn’t read the article. Which he hadn’t, because who wants to read one of your co-workers bitching about how you get paid more than they do. He realized he had to say something politically correct about the pay difference so he muttered something about there being a problem needing to be addressed while he imagined the house he bought with his higher pay and how many young models he fucked in the backyard pool.

Once impassioned celebrity essayists realize that men and women being different is by itself not the basis for lifelong hardship status, Lena Dunham will dematerialize and this planet will be 220 lbs. lighter and much much happier.

1. How much money would the movie make if Jessica Chastain were the lead and not Matt Damon?

2. Who the fuck is Jessica Chastain?

Why did Jennifer Lawrence get paid 80% as much as Bradley Cooper when she only had half the screen time, was in a supporting role, and has an average of twelve years fewer acting experience than all of the higher paid male coworkers?

Why does she feel fit to bitch when she made like 18 million more than Bradley Cooper this year? When the only actor in the world who earned more in total salary was Robert Downey Jr.?

If she agrees that men and women should be paid equally in Hollywood, is she going to make a good faith gesture on her supposed convictions and split the difference with her costar Chris Pratt in the movie "Passengers" (2016), where reportedly she's being paid 8 million dollars more?

Lawrence published her article on the matter in 'Lenny', Lena Dunham's magazine. Despite that red flag, I tried to look at her argument with an open mind; after all there is no real reason that she should be paid less than Bradley Cooper.

She admits that she isn't being paid less because she's a woman, but because her negotiating skills are worse, because she's a woman, and because society hasn't prepared her for it. This is actually a feature of a lot of feminist arguments;

Men are all potential rapists because rape culture doesn't teach them consent.
Women don't go into STEM fields because
There aren't as many female CEOs because society says assertive women are bossy shrews.

Culture did it. It's societies fault. It's not my fault. I hate you Dad, etc etc.

Anyway here's her tits, in case anyone forgot about them

Here's how it is:

Women UNDER 30 in Hollywood have a lot of power. The same goes true for men OVER 30.

Yes, obviously there are exceptions to the rule, but that's why they are called exceptions. Except I actually think there are less men under 30 who can command power.

Right now: Think of a guy UNDER 30 who can command this identical publicity.

A. Brad will make a big deal about negotiating the same salary on his next movie - then make most of his money off of backend points. This is such BS. He'll make 5 million for the movie, same as his female costar, then another 25 million on points that she'll never see. Smoke and mirrors...liberal "fairness"...dumb women swoon.

B. Look at this quote again.

"Bradley believes the only way to end the gender pay gap is for he and his peers to start a dialogue. 'Usually you don’t talk about the financial stuff, you have people.' he told Reuters. 'But you know what? It’s time to start doing that.'

No feminist has a problem with Brad basically saying that only a man can solve this?

This is straight out of the 48 laws of power. Think as you want but behave like other. I am pretty sure there was a ROK article basically explaining this same exact concept. He has to satisfy the liberal power base of hollywood. I would do the same exact thing. Nearly everyone else would too. Just tell them what they want to hear.

Found this article on NPR:

http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2...er-pay-gap

This is the mind blowing part:

Quote:Quote:

The criticism Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has lobbed at herself for not pushing for a higher fee to star in the film American Hustle is reverberating in Hollywood and beyond.

"I got mad at myself," Lawrence wrote. "I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early."

The star of the Hunger Games franchise said she hesitated to negotiate aggressively because she didn't want to come across as abrasive or too demanding — a fear, she mused, that probably is linked to gender conditioning. Lawrence wrote: "I didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled.' At the time, that seemed like a fine idea, until I saw the payroll on the Internet and realized every man I was working with definitely didn't worry about being 'difficult' or 'spoiled.' "

Too worried about 'perceptions' that she balked at even attempting to negotiate herself a better salary... until she saw that she (possibly) could have made more.

She might have an argument if she at least tried to get herself more scratch.

I have no sympathy for her.

Chris Pratt is a bigger deal than Jennifer Lawrence now - he made Guardians of The Galaxy a big hit and he also came out looking good from Jurassic World.

As I said earlier Hollywood actresses are massively overpaid. I think they should only make $1-$5M per film, which about the same as a TV actress. You can switch them around in most roles and it wouldn't affect box office for most films. Even the movies with a female lead which did do well recently like Gravity (Sandra Bullock) or Lucy (Scarlett Johansen), did so because of the concept or storyline of the movie.

One actress right now who adds value to a film beyond her looks is probably Melissa McCarthy. She's unattractive and fat, so she has to rely on her comedic skills. I still don't think the female Ghostbusters movie will do well.

From JLaw's letter:
http://us11.campaign-archive1.com/?u=a5b...d671e#wage

"I don’t think I’ve ever worked for a man in charge who spent time contemplating what angle he should use to have his voice heard. It’s just heard."

This quote gets right at the heart of what game is. First, women only notice the winners, the powerful alphas who are in charge. They don't notice all the men working for these powerful people who mostly keep their mouths shut and worry about what to say when speaking up.
Second, they think everything just comes easily and naturally to men. I'm sure some of these men worked very hard (both on career and self improvement) to get to the positions they are in.

An American white woman acting like an idiotic hypocritical entitled cunt?

I'm shocked! [Image: tard.gif]

I'm not joking: I rarely run into relatively young (under 27) and decent looking humble American white women anymore. Don't get me wrong, most American women are shit in general. But American white women in the 21st century are by and large the most privilege and protected class in modern history and a good majority act like the biggest goddamn victims.
