I also solidly reject the writers idea that the women must be concerned with "service and philanthropy efforts." This is not a slave institution and the girls have no moral obligation whatsoever to please the writer of the oped with his socialist dribble about service.

He is a poor excuse for a man picking on these girls with his bitter male feminist socialist view of life. Life without these pretty girls as he would wish would be a horror.

Chicks dancing around for no reason.

Chicks being instant, inseparable sisters.

But you'll rarely see chicks doing anything academic.

You might think the chubby sorority would highlight something more substantive but you'd be wrong. Even a fat chapter of KD (who were the hot rich girls on my campus) don't feature academics. And check out the girl at 2:22 whose defining feature is sarcasm. Apparently, no one told her that guys don't find that attractive.

I've never been that crazy over white girls, but watching these videos from Florida, Alabama and Arizona made me realize that white girls in Illinois suck.

These were the "top" sororities at my Alma Mater UIUC

Some are alright, but if you compare the UIUC girls to the Arizona and Texas girls, the Arizona and Texas girls blow the Illinois girls out of the water.

The thing about sororities, and the whole party-school lifestyle, is that these institutions are essentially turning many cute girls into fat, drunk sluts. Young people today are drinking more alcohol than previous generations, which is both correlating with and facilitating the modern hookup culture we have today.

Although we can all appreciate the "hyper-femininity" exhibited in these sorority recruitment videos, I think that the overall quality of American women would be much higher if it weren't for sororities, or college parties and alcohol in general.

I'll say it again: One thing that is definitely making women fatter in America is alcohol, and alcoholism is what Greek Life boils down to. Not only is alcoholic sorority life making them sluttier, but It's also making them fatter. It all starts at college.

The girls in these sorority recruitment videos are mostly 18 - 22, but what will they look like after college? How about when they are 26? They'll degrade faster than girls that didn't join sororities, and especially girls that never went to a university in the first place.

I don't think there should be another prohibition of alcohol like in the 1920s, nor do I think that women shouldn't be allowed to attend university. But, I believe that this is all a part of some larger, inter-connection of events that naturally occurs in a culturally decaying society.

Greek life and party schools glorify alcoholism and hookups, leaving society with more fat, loose, broken women.

But, I'll argue that alcohol (beer mainly) is making the majority of American women fatter than sugary Starbucks drinks.

Think about it...

At College/University, people are encouraged via peer pressure to drink, whether it be another college party, or sorority hazing ritual, or any other type of student social gathering. It's a social lubricant at the very least, and they know it, and everyone else is doing it. And on top of that, they have games for their alcoholism, like beer pong. And after college, they graduate with a new addiction and a heavier gut.

The beer fat they gain from college slows down their metabolism, and makes them hungrier for more calories.

I've seen so many cute sorority chicks that I knew from college just balloon up by their mid to late 20s. So sad, Sad for them, sad for us. And sad for the whole world.

Every time I see this, my limp dick sheds a few imaginary tears. There isn't anything worse than a used up fat girl with a loose pussy.

Beer is unique in that it has lots of calories. Basically it's liquid bread.

I agree. If anything, there's intense competition to maintain appearances within these sororities. These girls are usually well dressed, manicured, well-groomed, and made up to go out all the time. I've heard about plenty of "fat shaming" hazing rituals before they're even allowed in. It's actively encouraged to work out and look your best. This is what makes them "hyper feminine" to the ugly feminists writing critiques.

Now, whether sorority life makes them sluttier is definitely more likely. As feminine as these girls appear (no tattoos, long hair, well dressed, thin, etc.), they do party all the time and are just as careerist as the other broads on campus. They ride the carousel in the prime of their life just like non-greeks..they're just fucking high value fraternity guys and athletes. Looking hot and feminine certainly does not preclude a girl from being slutty.

I think it's a stretch to put most of the blame on sororities. Most women on a given campus aren't in sororities, although Greek Life has a stronger position at some schools. There is likely a higher total of girls that drink often and eat bad at one school than there are total sorority girls; and that's assuming the school has at least one sorority to begin with.

Someone recently posted a study that Greek life on campus tends to have a chilling effect on a university student's drift toward leftism. Students drift to the left in their university years, but those in Greek life drift less so. This, I believe, is the main reason why frats and sororities are under such attack.

Remember, appearance is ideology.

Frats and sororities are some of the last bastions in public life that have a semblance, even if a shadow of one, of traditional masculinity and femininity. To the Year Zero pathological ideologues on the left, that isn't acceptable and Greek life must be deconstructed totally. I'm currently writing about it all at length.

Maybe sororities promote undesirable behaviors, but the girls in a sorority are going to be better off than anyone in a gender studies class, for instance.

British women are not a part of sororities but they consume as much alcohol, if not more than their American counterparts. We now have a lot of chunky and fat girls around who are drinking and eating far too much.

It's hard to quantify. The college lifestyle will make most girls a certain way, regardless of what groups they join, but drunk slut behavior is an absolute certainty with sororities.

I can agree with that. But regardless of where these women drift to on the political spectrum, a fat slut is a fat slut is a fat slut.

I think women should be discouraged from going to college in the first place. It doesn't teach them how to really get ahead, and doesn't even teach them how to leverage their SMV. They just waste 4 years of their prime to become fat sluts with a cubicle job.

The drinking part is true, but sororities are the last group on campus who haven't fallen for the fat acceptance nonsense. They're consistently thinner than the campus population and actually value fitness specifically because it makes them more attractive to men.

Both of my little sisters (sorority, not biological) said that the girls obsess over being thin and, while they drink more, they're more likely to fast for a day (or longer) so they can afford the calories.

I'm a few years out of college and the sorority women I still know have stayed much thinner than nonmembers, most of them have substantially reduced their drinking too.

Most of the focus of sororities is making women more attractive. They influence how you dress, eat, exercise, style your hair and wear makeup - all focusing on making you hotter. I'd rather have that than a formerly attractive girl turned into and angry, SJW she-beast by the rest of campus.
