Italian girls...demanding and difficult in their own ways (I have found them small-minded, abrasive and easily prone to gaining weight in my somewhat extensive experience with them) but compared to Western girls, still infinitely better. This reminds me of a joke that floated around the "old manosphere" circa 2005 I wish I could find. It goes something like this:

An Italian man tells his friend his daughter is set to marry an American man.

"Congratulations!" says his friend.

The joke was worded a bit better than that, but you get the idea. Since this joke is at least a decade old, Italians must have felt this way for a while.

I couldn't help but recollect a number of like exchanges with a few of my SJW-leaning friends upon reading that. I think it's both that, yes, and a subtle backlash at the whole repression of masculinity pervading the Western world. Regarding this article, it was forwarded to me today at work by a friend. My first thought was "I look forward to getting home and seeing it on RVF". You fellas didn't disappoint.

As I've mentioned before, people have commented to me that I like 'ethnic' women. It's not that I like ethnic women, I like non-cunty, non-ugly women. One of me ex-gfs came from Europe, she just had a pleasant disposition, feminine demeanor, and great body.

I think American women simply underestimate how being pleasant is an attractive quality. It doesn't quite do for us what money does for a guy, where it can turn an otherwise unattractive guy into a ladies man, but they should think along those lines. Instead, they adopt what they think are attractive masculine qualities (cockiness, aggressiveness) and insist that men like them for it. Try to tell them that men and women are different, and all of a sudden you are a sexist who is "mansplaining" and can't handle their independence.

It's interesting to see countless articles about the decline in marriage in America, and they always focus on the men. As I've mentioned countless times, the biggest reason is there are simply so many unmarriageable women. I don't care about your career, if you're an unpleasant, unattractive cunt, the last thing I'm thinking about is marriage. I'm running for the hills.

Great points, as always CRR. But I want to make one modification: I think American women simply *don't understand at all* how being pleasant is an attractive quality and how being a bitch causes ruined lives, wrecked relationships, and limp dicks.

When women see a buff guy who speaks with a lisp and runs away scared of mice, they are instinctively repulsed. "Sex and the City" even did a segment on this. Women like men with manly, not feminine, qualities.

Similarly, when men meet sarcastic bitches, they're instinctively repulsed. If I want someone to give me shit, I'll go to a boss or a trainer. That's not the quality I seek in a mate.

The million dollar question is: Why are parents, school, and the media teaching women that bitchiness is a good quality and being pleasant is bad? It sure as hell wasn't this was 50 years ago, judging from the media then.

To my eternal regret, I didn't take seriously the foreign women I dated when I was young -- my parents advice notwithstanding. I was doped up on shitty American media (teen movies, TV crap, the overrated Bruce Springsteen) and assumed the cultural bridge would be too big to cross and I had to be with a 'Murican woman.

At least I get to see how well those foreign girls aged on Facebook -- and how all their marriages have stayed together. So there's that.

This goes back to young women women being told by everyone at every turn throughout their upbringing that they should be independently financially and professionally successful, and pursue all these things with unwavering selfishness. They've been socially conditioned to not be concerned about having children or starting a family, or that having a man in their life is necessary or even beneficial. Because of this they have not been promoted to develop and hone qualities that make them sweet, accommodating, soft, inviting, and nurturing or in any other way pleasing to have around as a long term domestic partner.

Typically they grew up in dual-income households with both parents being college-educated careerists. Statistically their parents had a poor relationship with one another and likely got divorced/separated. They likely were in custody of their mother in this case and were likely fed a skewed perception of their father and men/relationships in general. They have been taught to put hedonism over altruism.

one difference I noticed between italian and american girls is that italian girls are pretty much aware that if they want a stable job they need to major in something STEM while american girls don't seem to be fully conscious of that but I could be wrong.
