I remember the last time I ate meat, was a big pile of general tsao chicken (or wtf it's called) at the Chinese buffet. Was like a two pound brick in my stomach. I've never felt that bad ever again.
General Tso’s chicken from a Chinese buffet is your example of why meat is bad?

So you’ve got chopped up, boneless chicken. It’s coated in a heavy, flour based batter. Then it’s deep fried in vegetable oil. Then it’s covered in a sugary syrup. And it’s typically served with white rice which is really about as healthy as plain white flour or sugar. Your pancreas won’t tell the difference. And since it was served at a buffet, there’s a good chance it was seasoned with MSG. (Most Chinese restaurants have stopped using MSG, however many Chinese buffets continue to use it because:
1. It acts as a short term food preservative on steam tables.
2. It greatly enhances the flavor and makes you thirsty.
3. It can cause a bloated, full feeling in people so they don’t eat as much.)

But you blame the feeling of having a brick in your stomach on the chicken itself with little or no acknowledgement of where you ate it and how it was prepared? It’s 50% sugar and starch, but the problem is chicken?

This hits the nail on the head. Back in the bad old days when I was less selective what I would put in my mouth, I ordered a dish of orange chicken at a Chinese restaurant. It was overcooked which is really deadly. That hardened sugar is like eating lead pellets, and your body has to work to digest it. I lost so much water in diarrhea, that in the night I developed excruciatingly painful muscle cramps in my legs, due to the electrolytes lost. If you really want to avoid something in your diet. Avoid sugar. The less sugar the better. People are fat in America because they eat too much sugar. It's not fat. And it is not meat that is the problem. People are ignorant of the basic science of nutrition that has been known for some time now. They would rather follow dangerous gimmicks, because they are fad following sheep.

Nah, I am acknowledging the origin of that 'last meal' of meat - that's what is out there in the Western world, mostly, is this kind of crap. Anyone who wants to eat better needs to acknowledge that that is shitty food. But we as a nation keep eating more of it. I spoke about having learned to cook delicious meals that sustain my muscular frame into the second half of my personal century.

The bigger picture for me is that diet is as individualized as anything else. I feel better with this diet versus my first 23 years of eating meat - filet mignon, striped bass, whatever you want to name. My body is stronger and healthier because I have listened to what it wants to have. I've paid attention to the details, the mechanisms within. NO DIET SUITS EVERYONE. You can't tell me what works for me personally. And, I don't care what the fuck anyone eats. I know what serves my body best. This parallels modern medicine. As we understand enzymatic pathways and such more every day, we can see that the oxycodone that makes one person high as a fucking kite just causes gastrointestinal distress and nothing more for someone else (namely, me). Food is the same way. Some people thrive on a paleo diet, others have severely negative consequences.

For the original topic, I agree that veganism falls into this weird double category - there's some folk that just go about their business living their lives and being vegan, and another group of folk that have co-oped the vegan diet into their fanaticism and stupidity.

Do you take any vitamin supplements?

EDIT: You can believe you're special, but humans need vitamins and minerals and the best way to absorb those vitamins is by eating the meat of animals that can actually process plants.

Speaking of processing plants.

Meat is easier for us to digest, yes, to break down and incorporate. With plant matter, Mankind developed the ability to curate complex cultures of bacteria in spite of our carnivorous nature - hence our modestly lengthy small intestine. The main problem, as I see it, is that the vast majority of Americans are carrying bio-weapons in their bellies.

The average vegan or vegetarian is completely over-run with yeast - dramatically inflammatory. Yeast absolutely loves sugar and gluten. This is the reason so many people have trouble digesting the latter. That protein is extremely resilient, without the proper gut flora it cannot be properly processed.

Carnivores face a different sort of problem. With an unbalanced gut biome, bacteria that feeds on flesh overpopulates the zoo, producing dramatic quantities of trimethylamine N-oxide - a noxious chemical that correlates strongly with developing heart disease.

Throughout history, fermentation was one of our most reliable forms of food saving. Now it’s rare for people to incorporate even a small amout of such lacto-fermented foods in the diet - for most Americans it’s just siracha.

Even more tragic, there is a probiotic specific to we humans - one produced within the mammary glands of your Mother - that many of us have lost. If you’ve ever taken antibiotics, or if you were fed formula, you have no LACTOBACILLUS REUTERI in you! While you may think, “Fuck off Thrice, with your lactation fetish” this little jewel has shown to be a fountain of youth in lab rat studies. Mega-dosing rodents led to elevated mood, heightened levels of HGH and testosterone, and a dramatic increase in testicle size! Who’s got big balls? You don’t want big balls?

So! Go forth and Game the gravid girls! Or, you know, buy some supplements and make yogurt out of it or whatever...

The latest article from Starting Strength should be the definitive refutation of veganism for men--becoming strong requires lots of calories, good quality protein and vitamins, all things deficient in a vegan diet. And because you are a man with a lot of muscle that requires a lot of food, this may be very difficult.

Quote:Quote:

Deficiencies
There are a number of deficiencies that can occur in an animal-free diet that are important for proper physiological function. Vegans need to make sure they're getting enough omega-3 fatty acids (250 mg of combined EPA and DHA minimum) to counter a larger omega-6 intake. Since nuts and seeds only contain the omega-3 ALA, and ALA is not efficiently converted into EPA and DHA, they will either need to supplement with microalgae, buy fortified products, or eat enough foods with a low omega-6 to omega-3 ratio.

Creatine supplementation is a good idea for strength training, whether vegan or not. It's especially helpful for vegans, since they have lower amounts of creatine in their muscles compared to those who consume meat. Creatine has been shown to increase energy production in skeletal muscle, thus, assisting in developing strength and muscular hypertrophy.

A number of micronutrient deficiencies can be found in a meat- and dairy-free diet, as well. These include: Vitamin B12 for red blood cell count, calcium and vitamin D for bone health, iron for energy production, zinc for immune system and metabolic function, vitamin A for vision and other functions, and iodine for thyroid hormone production.

The Realization
You might now be realizing how this diet might complicate a few things. A truly committed individual can make it work by eating lots of oats, peanut butter, bread, pasta, rice, soy, nuts, seeds, tofu, tempeh, fruits and greens, and supplements/fortified foods to eliminate any deficiencies. To make progress in the big lifts (squat, deadlift, press, and bench press), one will have to get enough quality protein and calories by being as meticulous as possible. Without significant planning, little progress can be made as a novice trainee without some voodoo.

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

Meat isn't easier for us to digest, it stays in your system for up to three weeks. Fruits and Vegetables pass through our system in a day.

The manosphere is anti vegan because vegans are seen as being SJWs.

Men think it's macho to eat red meat, until they grow up and realize the side effects. I talk from experience not some bro science. No, I am not a Vegan but eat way more veggies than when I was young.
