The Joe Rogan thread

The Joe Rogan thread

Owen Benjamin has been lighting up Rogan and Shapiro lately on his podcast. I'm not sure what the true backstory partly because Benjamin's tangents have been so visceral that I'm unsure if he hasn't been the one to go off the deep end himself.

He's mainly calling out Rogan for being two-faced or a backstabber and is hinting at Shapiro being a pawn for the Left and to his sponsors. However, based on what I've heard from Benjamin recently, I don't fault Rogan or Theo Vonn or anyone else for distancing themselves from him...it kind of seems like he's looking to reasons to say "nigger" or other outlandish, racist things under the guise of "free speech." It's all odd.

He has had many Israel critics on the show though.
Especially the Abby Martin episode.

Rogan claims he and Alex Jones are great friends. If that's true, why hasn't Rogan brought Alex on his show to help him out?

They did episode 9/11 together.

Monetarily speaking I think Joe would take a hit if he brought on Alex Jones right now.

Alex was recently on coast to coast explaining his stance and he thinks is going on.

The MSM would drag Joe's name through the mud if he had Alex on right away.

Another thing is that Alex did say Joe was his enemy, I'm not sure if Alex still feels that way.

The way Joe talks about him, he's ignoring Alex's antics and still talks in good standing.

Maybe he's coming on, at least I hope he eventually will.

Not surprise. Joe Rogan had a guest on recently who was ex CIA and "debunked" building 7... How blue pill can you be? I think it's this one:

And as usual he goes on a long rant about how dumb Trump is. Rogan has lost all my respect. He used to actually go against the establishment kinda, those episodes with Amber Lyon were cool.

He says it's because Jones claimed Sandy Hook was a hoax.

He has. Episode 911!

Even the folk from Joe Rogan's now defunct forum - The Rogan Board, can't quite get a good handle on Rogan's current antics.

He's either simply getting old & 'safe'.
He's been approached or advised to rock the boat less.
Or his inclination to be the proverbial devils advocate is overriding any sense of brash behaviour he may have had.

I'm talking post de-platforming.

And for a guy who claims to be right of center he's never had on Cernovich, or Ann Coulter, while being completely unaware of who Tommy Robinson even is, but somehow he'll make time for Shapiro, Jordan Peterson's daughter, and some pretty girl that likes to spear fish.

Yeah I thought it had to do with the court case. That it might hurt Jones chance of a fair trial or something.

The best Alex Jones was on JR. That was an amazing podcast, for reasons Rogan states. Jones needs a moderator.

Rogan is the same as JPeterson. Soft centerist being framed as edgy far right in order to build a new frame for the acceptable extremes of public discourse.

The right wing facets of his show basically involve someone talking about right wing topics and either getting berated by Rogan or Rogan simply sitting there and saying "uhhuh.... uh-huh.... really... wow".

He only actually animates in support of shit like legalising weed.

The guy is a joke.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Yeah pretty much.
Rogan is not a Hollywood cultist, so he can readily see their bullshit. Yet he does like their money...

Thats what really made me stop watching his podcast. After awhile you can really anticipate what he will say and he doesn't really add much to the conversation.

Also he can't go one single fucking podcast without a ten minute rant about how Trump is a low IQ bumbling idiot. He should be boycotted for that alone.

I just listened to about 40 minutes of his interview with Peterson's daughter, and I think she is pretty cute and spirited, just a basic college student type, although she has had a rough life.

I found it endearing how she talked with such certainty on things she doesn't really know about and had no problem challenging Rogan and acting like he was stupid because he didn't know that tomatoes were in the nightshade family.

I like her as a girl, but she has no business being on the Joe Rogan show. She is just a normal girl who has experimented with her diet. She talked a lot about her bloating, diarrhea, and itchy skin, and changing her diet. I mean a lot.

Just a basic girl obsessed with her own body and her own experience, and thinking she is now an expert. At one point, I thought, I wonder if her constant physical and emotional problems aren't, on some level, not all levels, her way of getting some familial attention for herself with a dad who is the obvious star.

She sounds like a little trouper, with her arthritis and her hip and ankle replacements, and her depression. Imagine dealing with all that from such a young age, and to come out halfway normal.

She also made the point that depression is a generational problem in her family, which kind of makes a fool of Vox Day who implies that Peterson's depression is a sign of his lack of character, but never mind, it isn't about facts with that guy.

If she were in my family or community, I wouldn't mind listening to this stuff to some degree, but seriously, on the Rogan show?

This is just a normal girl, talking about herself in as much detail as she can to as great a degree as people will let her. I guess she is just on because she is Peterson's daughter.

I haven't listened to the podcast, but from an outside perspective I think its just a simple case of: Joe Rogan really likes the Peterson family. I almost get the feeling that when JP is on the show, that JR falls into a kid like persona. Like JP is the father figure every slightly above average IQ man needs.

He does that with Wim Hof too. Completely on board.

If I recall.
Rogan was raised or had a step-father at some point. So there could well be an element of 'daddy issues' for lack of a better term.

Yeah I think the show is more about spotlighting his guests, not so much about Rogan himself... but it does get annoying when he interrupts all the time with his own little rants and dopey comments.

...but it's just Rogan fatigue. If you've listened too much, you know what he's going to say next. Same as being around the same group of people in real life... it gets boring and annoying when you pick up the patterns.

Mix up those podcasts or take a break.

He's talked about his early childhood quite a bit. His biological dad was a cop and a wife-beater. Joe says his earliest memories are of his dad smacking his mom around for the usual 1960s reasons (dinner wasn't ready on time, etc.). His mom left his dad and remarried a hippie architect. They lived in San Francisco for a while. So, Joe is the spawn of a high-T Irish-Italian savage, was badly scarred early on, then was taken in by a possible cuck who gave him a good life, lots of love and education, etc. This backstory explains a lot about the man.

I remember Joe Rogan being mentioned by Mike Cernovich's FitJuice blog years back and I remember taking a brief glance at the guys work. I remember him presenting himself as a redpilled podcaster (working with UFC, Fear Factor, etc is cool) and just by reading the first 2 pages of this thread and this page alone I change my stance. Somebody mentioned if Roosh were to be featured on the podcast he'd get shut down completely and I agree.

How do you lose an argument to Milo (a gay man)? That's right, by siding with blue pilled feminist talking points and having your panties in a twist over Trump. Joe Rogan's upbringing gives him away (wife beating dad and being raised by a cucked hippie). Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Chuck Johnson lurks here or has posted a couple times under an alias. TIL Joe Rogan sucks.
