Okay so there's the Bangs from couchsurfing thread, but I couldn't find anything on here about people's experience from Internations.org I've personally been to two of the meets and seen some pretty decent women. I ended up banging a 7 after a Internations meet in Budapest. A lot of the women that attend though after usually mid-20's-40's.

So has anyone had alot of success using Internations? For more practical reasons it's also useful for making connects in different cities all around the world.

Many of the people I have met through Internations were friendly, older, and a bit strange. That said, I would readily and happily use it as an easy way to make friends when you first splash down in a city on an extended trip.

The girls that I have seen at Internations meetups tend to be career-driven and stressed out. They are pretty smart and in good shape, though. There are a lot of third culture kids, who are all pretty much batshit insane.

Besides the women, I've met some good guys through Internations - connections but one friend also.

If I had to guess I'd say that it's a better source than couch surfing for meeting decent quality girls, on the whole, but it depends on how you play it. Some guys find their niche in CS and do quite well. Internations is more of a good-looking-guy/logistics/social animal game.

Anyway, just like anything online, some guys would generally do better just to go out day gaming.

Problem with Internations is that it is not free and actually quite expensive. You basically have to be their Albatross member to get invited to any events. I found Internations to have a decent ratio but the girls were not very approachable. Everyone on it is also extremely career-driven.

Used it in Mexico, and I have to say the women are definitely career driven. More formal than couch surfing so I stayed away. The dude who turned me onto internations was a solid guy, but very pretentious so I just figured more like him and that's not my cup of tea.

What is internations?

Internations is basically an expat club. They have chapters all over the world including the US. Even as an American I went to some of the US chapter events so I could work on my language skills (which it is good for). Great place to meet intelligent, well-travelled people. Basically they sell it as a tool to learn about different cultures and languages and a place to socialize when living abroad. Typically you need to be invited by a member to become a member. That's how it worked for me. Unfortunately, I did not get to utilize it during my time in Europe.

I agree that it is a great place to make connections and it can be a could place to find a wingman in a new, foreign city. Just like anywhere the female situation is a mix. You find some arrogant career driven bitches and then you will find some laid back cool girls. It really depends on the city. The events are usually a good time though. Like any social event it always breaks up into different groups consisting of: old weird crowd, young career driven group, people just there to party, and then the different groups associated by native language.

The worst experience I had there, no surprise, was an American female (there with her British boyfriend) who was talking shit about my foreign language ability and being a real bitch in front of a group of about 7-8 non us citizens. I stood my ground and told her at least I was trying to speak a different language which instantly won over the expat girls. A Turkish guy told me after the verbal spat, "You guys have some real out of control bitches in this country." I told him he had no idea.

@ Cattle Rustler - They have free events at times that are even published on random facebook advertisements in "our area." I haven't been to one yet. There is also a monthly membership fee, but it's not required to pay that fee to attend mixers.

I'm sure you would get the random disgusted look from members if attending mixers consistently without acquiring a membership though, haha. When signing up too, they ask you things like where have you traveled to, what your professional background is like, and what languages do you speak, etc etc. One gal I know claimed the mixers were too chaotic for her liking though.

If you want to know Internations, join to get access to the meet up albums. It's tail- tail signs. Emech schooled me on pic study, and a player could crush it there if you're masculine. Over and over I saw beta foreign orbiters who will cockblock, but a wealth of local gals looking for foreign dick. Bring something to the table to score. I don't being an English teacher would cut unless you look like Fisto.

And as for dealing with American NGO bitches abroad. I learned a hard lesson once. Go in fast to social proof, because the worst of them will approach you. Agree/amplify to shut her ass down. Local men worth their weight in salt will understand.

I never made it to an internations meet up. But for younger guys here that take forum advice, it could be profitable on the puss but more importantly hone your skills. Like a proverbial player minefield. But what else are you gonna do on a Wednesday night in Beijing?

TripleG I would not call it expensive. Albatross is like $100 for year and event tickets are $9 for albatross members which includes a drink.

I know in Hungary all the events are usually free and include a cocktail and a snack. I find it to be worth it. Like mentioned, you have to find the group you fit into. Me, I was just there to party.

Internations is pretty good in places with active chapters. I've been to meetups in a couple of places. You don't have to sign up for the full service to get notices of some of the meetups, but as aliblahba says, for full use in contacting others you do need the Albatross membership (aside - the German owners did not take into account the English nuances of "Albatross.")

The main use is a cure for indigenous culture fatigue - when you're kind of sick of the natives and just want to speak English and see who else is in town. It is also good for jobs networking - I got one job offer through it (did not take the job).

Being "friendly, older, and a bit strange" myself, I usually meet some like-minded people. There are some bitchy younger US/UK women, true. That is also a useful reminder.

My one notch out of it was a professional Chinese woman on holiday away from her husband. A Chinese-American who was younger than both of us (she was 45) was being an asshole and cockblocking me out of some spite, so I just took her by the hand and dragged her away to my place in front of him at the end of the meetup.

I've also had some leads which I did not pursue due to being otherwise occupied.

Personally, i have had a blast on Internations and would rate it as the #1 way to get pussy. Nearly every event is for hookups, even the ones that were "entrepreneur-focused" i had girls looking for dick. The very 1st night i went out met a Japanese bellydancer who i later fucked. Ratios were decent but admittedly all girls are pretty well-off (accountants, IT) and in age range 30-35, incredibly fun to open especially when yr surrounded by beta dudes who don't know what they're doing. I converted 3 bangs from attending one meet-up in Ho Chi Minh City. It was a perfect opportunity to suit up and kill it.

It was naturally a matchmaking event. 90% of the male attendees were white, mid-30's+ country managers and overseas executives; 90% of the female attendees were vnese: young, crafty entry-level sales and finance professionals.

I collected about a dozen business cards and texted each contact a "proposal for collaboration". You can't pull that many numbers at a HCMC bar in one night without being outed as a "bad man" (ie player).

I imagine you would get similar turnouts in Jakarta, Manila, etc.

edit: I wouldn't try this if you actually have a professional stake/reputation to uphold in the country. Word travels fast as hell.

All Internations events are pretty much an excuse
to drink and hook up. I've done it and think it's great.

However to make it really work you should find a chapter
in a relatively big city. There's a lot of turnover and you'll
find more of the younger (and hotter) professionals who work
in the big cities.

In the USA, I've found the girls are attractive and approachable. Most are more interested in their careers than your dick. They will go on dates, but they certainly are not DTF. Most have good jobs so they don't need men.

I tried it a few times in Jakarta when I lived there. Great to get out, but in terms of women I thought it was OK, but not great. I went rock climbing and bowling and for a dinner/drinks with the group after a work friend invited me along. Ratio was slightly skewed with more guys, expat women were career driven. I was overseas for the adventure, they seemed to be there for a corporate stepping stone. They didn't seem to have great senses of humour (one American actually said she was 'offended' at a joke I made - Americans love to get offended) and aside from both being foreign, I don't think I would have hung out with a good portion of them in the west.

There were a few local men and women too looking to meet expats and practice English. I'd say the focus at these events needs to be on the locals, or at least non-westerners. Nothing came of it for me other than a few dates with girls, and a few local guy friends, but had I put in more time and gone to more events it is easy to picture more success with the women.
