Does anybody else ever get tired of the whole nothing ever works properly, shit customer service and everyone trying to rip you off in Peru? And for some reason it doesn't where you go in Cusco food is always served luke warm and so are drinks which are meant to be hot. Also things which are meant to be cold are often room temperature (e.g. coca-cola). Peruvians do not seem to understand the concept of customer service. Also in Cusco hardly any taxi drivers speak Englis, they do not have a GPS or even google maps (they have cheapo mobiles) and have terrible knowledge of the city, so half the time they get lost when ypu want to go aomewhere which is not a well known main road. Also even in a lot of hostels, tourist restaurants and tour agencies nobody speaks English. Seriously, WTF.

As a peruvian, i can give an inside of my country, I have traveled to many cities and small towns from different regions. I can say that Is a fact that most of peruvian girls are crazy for whites. Maybe Peru has the biggest white god factor of Latam, but at the same time, I can say that provincianas(girls outside Lima) tend to be more polite,more traditional and open to date a non white.
Cusco is a province, but it is a special case because it is too touristy, tons of foreigners even skip Lima and spend their hole time in Cusco. Cusqueños see foreigners since they were born, a blonde guy is nothing new, also girls are traditional and don't you escalate fast. In adittion, girls see you as a guy who will leave Peru soon. Also Cusco has many bricheras(golddiggers).
I think Cusco is just good for locals who can pick up the white chicks who wants to feel the Cusco Power jaja, by the way, some local girls and latinas tourist want their white guy for affairs, but competence is so fierce, tons of thirsty guys with extremely bad ratios.
Members who have visited Lima, know that The white advantage is bigger here, Lima has better quality and quantity than other peruvian places, relate to the quality of girls pics, the average peruana look like them 4 or 5's. Depends of standards if you like this kind of mestiza girls, for you can be 6 or 7. @Scrambled: You are right, these girls are not indian or andean girls, they are mestizas(mixed blood).
If You want to bang the average peruana, you will need some dates, but you will be able to get the bang as a foreigner. If you want to bang A better quality of peruvians, some real 7's, you will need to improve your game and focus in specify upper class places as La Molina, Miraflores, San Isidro, San Miguel, Jesus Maria, San Borja.

Finally, i can say that if some members want to give details of their experiences in Peru, it can help Other members to have a better idea of my country. I Just give my local point of views and i know foreigners may differ.

Cuzco might be different (and the tourist track towards Aguas Calientes) in terms of customer service because of large numbers of tourists. It is like Disneyland Peru there; however I never encountered any rudeness at all, and only one minor scam at Macchu Picchu, over 10 soles in a "you only paid me a 10, senor, no change for you".
For the rest the Peruanos are friendlier and better at customer service than USA, since Peru livesby its tourism industry, and view turisticos with gratitude and not envy or the " you're no better than me, you know, I went to college too", USA style service.
I also found the restaurants of far better quality than USA, and 1/3 the price. Peru produces its own high quality produce and is an agricultural nation. In Cuzco there are many top restaurants like "Chicha", as good as anything in Anglo land.
It is still a country with people scrounging for more money, so by no means do I imply you can be as trusting as in the us; that is sort of the point, the less wealthy Peru allows us to have value as wealthy Gringos.

I think a lot of cheap labor is recycled from around Peru. No English sticks around there! This is why you will find that English is gone from the local work force.

I seemed to have discovered in that thread that Colombia was the 'other Philippines' in which first date bang, and right to apartment is indeed what Colombia has had up till now. So this 1st date bang and right to apartment what you get in Colombia, DR and Philippines you cant get in Peru with the average and lower quality 4s and 5s? So yes white god factor is huge, but will it take longer than Colombia to get the bang?
If Peru is not the same-day-lay culture like Colombia, DR, Philippines,, Indonesia etc, then I am picking something other than Peru. I don't have issues with the indigenous looks, just about the ease of notches. I want Lima because I love their perfect room temperature weather and even their girls' different looks, but I wont go there to enjoy their weather and their girls if the latter is less easy from the others. I want to maximize from what is easiest since notches is what I want to enjoy for now. If they are too reserved for same day lay I will go to DR, Venezuela or something. My game is lower so if a region is known to usually not not give SNL to the average americano, I will do particularly poorly.
I can confirm that Peru is not so poor due to rising (mainly Macchu Picchu) tourism bringing in substantial foreign currency into the economy, as well as mining and agriculture improving -- food exports have gone up.

Without industrialization via export of value added manufactured goods like electronics auto and other high end goods, a country stays behind. Peru needs a manufacturing supply chain setup and globally competitive high vale exports to move to high income status.

Yes the countries dont compare but the issue of mining specifically is what I am talking about. I read enough about how being an exporter of raw minerals does so little for a country that the poorest countries in the world have these industries but cant provide for their citizens. Africa is known for being a exporter of raw natural resources and remains poor. Also agriculture.
Without an actual change in their economy in terms of industry, the place will simply look the same in the future. Good to us gringos who like the Peru we have now, noone that likes it the way it is now would want it it to become different. A cheap paradise with easy immigration formalities.

I am really pissed off that heaps of guys on this forum and many other forums hyped up Cusco as being an easy city to get laid. While guys who fit certain niches might do okay, most guys will not get laid in Cusco.
I dress well, I open in Spanish and can hold a 2 or 3 minute conversation in Spanish and I do some approaches every day, yet after two weeks I still have not got a flag. I am not saying my game is particularly strong, but many guys have made Cusco out like its the Latin American version of Manilla. That is complete and utter horseshit. The ratios are bad, the girls aren't especially into foreigners and the girls are not at all thirsty/desperate. As for going for foreign girls the quality is low. Its mostly white trash girls from Anglo countries and Germany, with a few French, spanish and Latina (Brazilian, Columbian, etc) girls thrown in. There are not enough of the foreign latina girls to get any traction and the European girls are all from the shitty countries (almost no Balkan, baltic or eastern European girls here). I have always despised girls from anglo countries and rich european countries. To me they are too manly and are basically white trash.

Truly, going from Miraflores to Cuzco to have to open German yellow-haired chunkies out of desperation was no small shock to the system. Almost unlimited targets in Miraflores, in Cuzco only sweaty hippies trying to get that obnoxious Facebook photo of Micchu Picchu in the background.

I hate peruvians from Cusco. They are mostly cunts who try to hustle foreigners. Every time a peruvian from Cusco sees a foreigner they just see dollar signs in their eyes. Everybody from taxi drivers, tour agency staff, hostel staff, restaurant owners, etc will try to hustle you or provide subpar service. Girls from cusco flake all the time and when the do show up they treat me like a fucking atm. The girls in cusco will either ignore you or be fake nice to you to try and hustle you into spending money on them. I got hustled by a lot of girls in Cusco but am starting to wise up now. Women in Cusco are expert actresses. They lure you in with all the pretence of the lovey dovey sweetness until they extract what they want from you. Cusco is a backwards shithole. Nobody wants to do their job properly and everybody is trying to hustle everybody else and nothing ever works properly. Fucking cunts. I hate this place. It is a shame because the city itself (buildings, etc) is actually quite nice. It is just the fuckwit locals make it unbearable here. Also the foreigners here suck. They are mostly pretentious hippy types or old people. Perhaps there are good reasons that despite the huge number of foreign tourists here I hardly met or saw any expats in Cusco.

Cusco is overrated in my opinion. The weather sucks and yes, people try to hustle you constantly. Outside of the historic zone near the Plaza de Armas, the city is a dump. I've never seen so many feral dogs in my life.
I admit I had a series of health issues and just generally bizarre experiences there which have colored my opinion of that city (see Peru Thread in my sig), but I'm just not a huge fan. Go there to see the cool historical stuff then move on. I don't know why someone would go there for game, unless you really like the indigenous look.

I am stuck in cusco because i paid for accomodation and Spanish lessons lessons in advance. I am trying to learn Spanish here. I have to be here for a while :-(
Colombian accent is condidered standard of South America. Soon tho, you will speak like a Cuzco hotel desk clerk. Might need follow up lessons.

Dude just suck it up and find a way to make it work. Bang tourist girls passing through. There were lots of girls from other areas of South America as well as Europe when I was there.
Make friends in the hostel bars, check out the clubs, the nightlife is pretty active there. Build a social circle.
Focus on your Spanish, hit the gym, and practice game. Maybe find a jiujitsu gym up there. There's also an ayahuasca lodge in Pisac if I recall correctly that you can try out. Could help you in ways you may not even anticipat (basing that off what I've read and heard, I wasn't able to try it while I was there because I was sick).
Make the best of it, man, it's not like you have to stay there forever.

It looks like some of the problems you're having are rooted in expectation management.
The concept of "customer service" really does not exist outside of the English-speaking world and certain parts of Europe. I experienced frustration similar to you when I was there, and when I just decided to let go, stop caring and just accept everything the way it is, I started enjoying my trip a lot more.
Peru is not Australia. It is a developing country in Latin America. Take all your expectations for how things "should work" and lower them by 50%, and you will have a lot more fun. Do not expect everything to be organized and efficient when you come to Latin America, that just simply is not how things work there.
Try it out and your perception of the place may change.

Yes and especially since I have said that Lima is probably much better than Cuzco now. Lima is where you have a metro area that is huge population-wise by global standards, filled with diverse women and most it not even touched by foreigners. How people could say Cuzco was the easiest place in S america I can't even understand! Judging Peru by Cuzco is like judging a book by ... the farthest back page.
I am going to try Peru, enjoy Lima and even try many other cities but Cuzco is NOT one of them!
Lima is definitely more my cup of tea. Maybe things have changed down there. The general consensus on blogs and guys I've talked to is that Cusco is still one of the easiest, if not the easiest place in SA to get laid. I'm sure the bircheras are still in plentiful supply, although it's posible some are getting jaded by all the gringos who through.
