Kronenberg I was in the bar for less than two minutes. Its a fucking bar not a restuarant, does everybody who walks into a bar have to buy something in the first 5 minutes? (even in restaurants they give you more time than that). Besides the place was nearly empty (I wonder why...) so its not like he needed the table. Besides the kind of fucker that harrasses you like that when you walk in, you can be sure that if you order a drink the second you finish it he will be harassing you to buy another overpriced ($5 or 6 per drink). I remember one time me and two Peruvian girls were sitting in a different bar a few weeks ago. Every 5 minutes the waitress harassed us to buy something, the 3rd time we refused (there were heaps of empty tables mind you) she asked us to leave. Coincidentally I walked past the same bar last night, and guess what? Not a single fucking customer was in there. I predict the bar will be bankrupt within 6 months. How dumb can business owners in Cusco be?

Besides even if I do not buy anything from their bar me sitting in their miserable empty bar will at least make it look like there are some customers so passers by will be more tempted to enter the shithole (after all if you walk past a place and its empty you will probably think its shit and will not enter) So really the dumb fuck owners should be grateful for my presence in the shithole establishments.

I went to a pharmacy a week ago to get some antibiotics. I went to the counter and lined up and asked for what I wanted. Then they gave me a peice of paper with a number on it and told me to go to another counter and wait there (which was in the middle of the pharmacy fully enclosed/secured by a plastic wall) to pay. So I pay and they give me a receipt and then tell me to go to line up at a third countr with the receipt to collect the medicine. So I line up at 3rd counter to collect my antibiotics. I can only imagine what it would be like to apply for some sort of permit, visa or license from the governemnt here.

The amount of pharmacies, restaurants, corner stores, currency exchanges, etc that have their counter fully shielded behind plastic/acrylic walls in Cusco is amazing. Do they think everyone will fucking rob them? Not to mention often when you walk into a store to browse the owner will watch you the whole time to make sure you do not steal. Its like everyone tries to fuck over everybody else here and they expect you to try and fuck them over (they will certainly try and fuck you over). Nobody trusts anybody in Cusco.

Sometimes (not always, but often) when I walk into a store and say for example "Buenas tardes, como esta?" The shop keeper just stares at me blankly. Its not hard to be polite and say "bien, y tu?" Instead of just staring at me. I am a tourist who actually bothered to greet you in your own langauge at least have the fucking manners to greet me back.

Cogon, are you seriously not liking Manila? Are you just using the dating sites? Or day gaming as well?

I have a hard time believing anywhere in South America is better than the Philippines for meeting girls.

I mean, I'm getting 3x the action I was getting in China, and with better looking / much younger girls.

Maybe you should reconsider your approach before throwing in the towel.

What age are you? Are you a higher age? I am 26 and find it easy to get the interest of girls I like, but I find it hard to get them to come where I am in Las Pinas because they are not motivated to meet a young one, maybe because there are heaps of 40s and 50s men willing to meet them in Makati. People did say age was an asset and the ideal age of men in the Philippines is indisputably the worlds highest. So I am thinking of doing places in latin america at least for a while.

Yes Philippines is a big improvement from China, but latam is a totally different comparison than comparing Chin. especially since in my case I am a younger person and age is another factor to consider where is more ideal. I have to say I can't even confirm till I get there, but maybe here, not all ages are ideal. I will know later if latam is better.

But what I can say is you are right, Philippines really is great an I have my eyes set on Mindanao, and Cebu as an alternative. The place looks like I will do well regardless of age. I am holding Cebu, also Mindanao for whenever I decide to come back from latam. They actually seem to ignore age in there and if you have the guts to go, they all wanna meet you! which I find remarkable. Definitely going to focus a huge chunk of my time on that place after latam. I have a good gut feeling about that part of the country.

As for now, I am being harassed by girls in Cebu and Dominican republic to come to there islands because they all insist on meeting me and dont want me to ignore them lol, even when I make no effort to initiate contact with anyone from there. Gotta love all the attention! Too bad both places are not on my list of places to go! Yeah I can actually resist attention from girls and go other places.

For the time being, my heart is set on PERU!!!!!

it would have worked better if you said in Spanish "Mirare a ver" "I will look and see"

Mirare a ver?? Never heard that in Spanish.

Try: Estoy leyendo el Menu, dame un minuto.

Like English there are literally a million ways to say something. And the context was for if you dont have the menu yet of course because Australia sucks rejected the menu and my suggestion was for accepting to receive it.

I'll take a look and see. It's a casual way, one of many ways.

Ever heard them use the term echar un vistazo? Its another way to say you will take a look at something.

Mirare = I'll look
a ver = let's see/I'll take a look.

There should be an accent on the last letter e in Mirare.
Once you become an expert in Spanish you will see the myriad of ways to say 1 same thing, just like you can in English.

Once you become an expert in Spanish: I've spent several years in Spanish-speaking countries, so, parce, have a guess at my level of expertise in this language [Image: wink.gif]

Anyway, back to your: " "Miraré a ver""... if it were, "Mirare... A ver...", I would be ok with it. But, you do have to pause between Mirare, and A ver... the way you wrote it, it seemed that the sentence was continuous.

(By the way, if Australia-sucks rejected the menu, which was an impulsive, not useful move, then you are right, he had to say something else. Example: "Estoy esperando a alguien, dame un minuto")

Thats true. What you will notice though in typical written Spanish, they actually lack even the proper letter, never mind proper spacing and puctuation! They write stuff like xk - porque

And many words that should be written with qu, they put the letter k instead.
And as I said before, they have 3 other letter mix ups:
mixing s with c
j with g
and b with v

Written Spanish in these latin countries is a disaster! even in the most casual english, you dont see people writing with wrong letters. But there, everything is spelt in 'their own way' You not only need to learn Spanish, you need to become an expert so you can just see through all the flaws and tell what word it really is. My spanish is advanced anough so i can pick up on when they make typos and write things weird. The average gringo will get spaghetti brain, all mixed up from reading it!

So I can offically also confirm Cuzco is RUDE!

I asked in Spanish in the supermarket behind the market why music is all in English. She seemed quite snarky in her response. Can remeber how it went. All I remeber was it seemed very unfriendly. Noone likes talking to foreigners.

I told you that people in the Andes and peruvians are generally slower than normal people, as in retard slow. Not everybody of course but we are talking about 99%.

You cannot expect them to greet you with the manners of Prince Charles, its not their fault.

I finally got my Peruvian flag about a week ago. It was a Cusquenian girl that lived in the U.S. for 4 years and was now back in Peru and she told me she did not like Peruvian guys and only goes for foreign men now (brichera). She was maybe a 5.5 and was mediocre in bed, but she put out on the first night. I met her from online game. I am in Arequipa now and was hoping it would be easier to game, but its not much different really. The girls are slightly friendlier on average but the logisitics and the number of approachable targets are worse so it kind of evens out.

I will note that in Peru out of all the cities Lima had the hottest, smartest and friendliest girls. That being said the average Limenian girl is still mediocre. In the rich parts of Lima like Miraflores, Baranco, San Isidro, etc the girls are attractive but they are still not that interesting and are somewhat bitchy, cold and unfeminine. They cannot compete with Chilean girls.

Australia Sucks, I dunno man, it's like what you're writing is the complete opposite of what I'm experiencing. Chilean girls??? Chilean girls sucked when I went to Santiago two years ago. I was there for four or so day and was so uninterested in any girls I saw except maybe a handful. On the other hand, having just spent 10 days in the Miraflores area, I felt like it wasn't as much as a step down from Colombia as everyone made it out to be. There were still lots of attractive little brown latinas everywhere. It was pretty awesome.

Natas305, those girls in Lima are cute yes but they are higher class where in colombia they exist in more if not all classes.

The Chilean girls I saw in Peru were very attractive.

Chile as a country looks good on paper, but it's just so far away from the states.

One important thing is that due to the culture in Peru, almost everywhere has bad game logisitcs in Peru.

What I mean by this is that women generally do not like to spend time alone (at least when in public). Sure you might see women alone walking hurriedly to work or university but it is rare to see a woman alone reading a book in the park, or lying down alone (or with only one friend) listening to music at the beach, enjoying a coffee alone at the mall, etc.

This means for daygame you have a very limited number of targets. Also, even for nightgame girls tend to go out in big mixed groups and venues are typically very noisy so finding 2 girls sitting together in the corner of a quiet bar to talk to is unlikely. Approaching a walking 3 set is a difficult and low probability set, etc. In Peru when you do daygame you can sometimes walk around for 2 hours just to find 3 decent girls/sets to approach. It is hard to get a good volume of approaches and get any traction because of the above mentioned issues.

I found Santiago Chile to be more like the west in this regards . There were plenty of cute girls that were alone or with only one friend relaxing (drinking coffee, reading a book, listening to music, etc) in the parks and shopping centres, etc (as opposed to all the couples and big mixed groups you see in Peru).

Also on average the girls in Santiago spoke more English (my Spanish is pretty basic) and were friendlier and more open to being approached. In terms of looks of the girls in my opinion the talent in the rich parts of Lima and the rich parts of Santiago were equal.

Another point is in the central areas of Santiago there are a lot of university campuses all within walking distance of each other so in the centre there are heaps of cute young university students walking around and plenty of campuses to game.

I felt Santiago had really strong potential as a game destination and would love to return. In Santiago I got two insta-dates for coffee, and one walking insta-date all in one day (my first and only day there) and a few email closes as well and I was hardly running any game, just a small amount of "incidental game" while I was sightseeing in the city.

I did not have a Chilean mobile number because I was only there for one day and I did not have an Iphone (to get a number for whatsapp, viber, etc) because it was stolen in Peru and I had not replaced it until I came back to Australia (my parents had a spare old one they were not using so I have taken that now). That is why I resorted to an email close (not much choice) so once I had an Iphone again (I do now) I could transition to chatting to them on whatsapp (which I have now). Also I do not have facebook or any other social media (I think its pointless).

Zoom, I did end up going to Iquitos, but I was only in the city for half a day/one night, because from Iquitos I went to 2 different 4 day jungle treks (different parts of the jungle). I really enjoyed my time in the Amazon jungle, and got to see a lot of different animals, cool plants/trees, etc I am glad I went to Iquitos.
