Forget about her. She can do what the fuck she wants. But she's an abuser. Not only did she smoke during her pregnancies, she is raising a boy, against his will, to be obese. Of course you will have people say that's it's just genetics and he was born to be big like his mother. Bullshit. I have worked with children for 15 years, and it's rare for the mother of fat kids to provide them with a healthy lunch. (On the rare occasions when they are provided with healthy food, it's an attempt to hide what they are fed at home. You just need to sit down with the child and ask what he ate for dinner last night for the truth to come out).

These monsters rationalise their offspring's obesity using the same excuses they use to make themselves feel better. The fact is that they simply make terrible lifestyle choices. This is bad when it only affects themselves, but evil when it results in innocent children most likely facing a life of ill health, ridicule and depression. In fact, I sometimes feel sympathy for obese adults who have been that way since they were toddlers - it was their parents (most likely mothers) who started them out on this path.

Sorry to derail the thread, but I'm tired of seeing this kind of child abuse.

As I mentioned earlier, I used to date her French au pair. Before my girl worked for this kaiju, she used to have a massive bowl of candies on the kitchen table (along with various snacks in the cupboard) for them to eat whenever they want. My girl managed to change that to fruits and train her kids out of eating processed crap all the time. It's been a year since she left though so likely the kids are backing eating like pigs again.
