Man, India has lost it's stride in test matches since Tendulkar retired.

They are still performing well in one day matches, but they need another superstar to gel the team together.

I pay so much money to get my cricket channel in the US....and it doesn't show the World Cup. Only ESPN has the rights and they make you pay a special 100$ fee for the tournament. Fuck that.

Using advanced computer knowledge, I am watching the Star Sports stream on their legit website. Thank God.

^ No Narine, Pollard, Bravo. I always love rooting for the WIndies, but that's a lot of missing X Factors...

My man finch staging an awesome century and crushing the English bowling.

Don't think England will get pass 260 in the chase with Australia's strong death bowling and swing early.

Looking forward to a big inning from Dave Warner.

The big game is on tonight. India vs Pakistan. This is more than sports. Nothing in the sporting world compares to this.

First India-Pakistan match in the World Cup without Tendulkar.

Some more stats on the subject: http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-cricket-...30973.html

I hope that all the anti Hindu/ pro Muslim/ pro Pak politics being played by the western influences in India [including Obama] has not numbed the next level "kill or be killed" type of feeling this match brings in India. There are too many posh city boys in the team. Need more country guys like Sehwag to step up and bring some hatred.

Looking for big play from Dhoni, Kohli, and Jadeja.

Appropriate song for today.

Haha, Ireland chase down 300+ against the Windies. Every world cup one of the non-test playing nations pull off a solid upset.

NZ wrecking England right no. Shane Bond has done wonders with the bowling attack.

Baz has got some A level Test match captaincy going in this game. 4 slips!

Edit: Bending England over right now with the bat too.

I love watching Broad cry.

I can. NZ.

I love Mitch Johnson and George Bailey, but some of the other Aussies have been bugging me a bit. Till Australia get Faulkner back, NZ is the top dog in my book in that group. Faulkner balances the equation a bit.

But yes, that will be a great game for sure. So will India vs SA this weekend. I am certain Dhoni's teams bring another level when it really matters, as they started showing against Pakistan.

Agreed.

I'm just watching the NZ-England game now. New Zealand need to get 12 runs in the next 246 balls to win. [Image: lol.gif]

Oh yeah forgot about the Faulkner factor, that dude is incredible, easily the best all rounder in the world.
but even without Faulkner, it is a toss up, since NZ batting is a bit inconsistent and too reliant on Mccallum, Williamson and Elliot to hold things up.
They did not do too well in that run chase against Ireland losing 7 wicket for a low run chase.

Indian will struggle in that match against SA. Indian have weak bowling and lesser fielding than SA. the lower order such as raina + Jedaja struggle with bounce while Kohli and Rohit struggle with movemnt and swing early on in their inning.

Sa have almost equally good batting against Indian assuming Du plessis clicks with Amla + AB. Amla and De Kock handle spin bowling real well.

^ Yeah I was thinking during the game, I bet KP is laughing a very satisfied laugh right now. I heard he is doing commentary on some channel for the WC...I'd like to have heard that for this game.

I'm ashamed of the west indies... jesus christ we lost to ireland....We are like the Liverpool of cricket. Then again at least we're not England. When I saw the score I thought there was rain delay for it to be so low.

Why was KP dropped ? He seemed in decent form in the Big Bash t20 series.

WIndies set a good score of 310 and after 3 overs had Pakistan 4 out for 1 run! W.Indies are a team I like to see do well so they better hold on to this one. Pakistan currently 4/25 off 10 overs so they should be right

EDIT: 5/25 off 11 overs now.

Hahaha.

That story is way too long.

Although part of it I think is that the "follow the rules with a stick up your butt" passive aggressive powers in English cricket didn't like KP's maverick [dare I say sigma male] type attitude. He was then used as a scapegoat for England being wrecked by Mitch Johnson and the Aussies in the 2013-14 Ashes.

I can relate a lot to KP with my experiences with sports teams, so I always root for him...even though he IS friends with Piers Morgan.

So basically, the guy got kicked out for doing being red pill and making runs his own way, kinda sucks.

I mean doesn't Dave Warner do the same for Australia..dude is aggro no matter what...same with McCallum for NZ.

I still remember the partner ship between him and Paul Collingwood in the ashes...no way would you want to drop a person who could score 160 against Australia, and that was when Mcgrath and Warne were still in.

Australia has a much better/ carefree/ aggressive attitude about cricket, which is why they win. KP also did send some bad texts about his teammates to the South African players, which was a big deal.

McCullum is a god send for NZ cricket

India vs the Saffers [Best team on paper with the conditions]

Big game. Lets go!

SA is the only team India have not beaten in the WC...0-3 against them so far.

Time to change that.

Looks like a hard green top in Melbourne, the biggest ground in the world. That means a huge advantage to the bowlers, and SA here. It's pretty much a home game for them.

But in Dhoni we trust.

1. I'm seriously sad that Afghanistan lost. They played tremendously well and it would've been amazing to see them upset Sri Lanka. But overall, can't hate on SL - Jayawardene and Perera did what they had to do.

2. Happy though that Dhawan made a ton. He's definitely done well so far in the WC, and it's unfortunate he got run out against Pakistan. I bet he would've hit a century against them as well had it not been for that direct hit on the stumps.

Not happening. - redbeard in regards to ETH flippening BTC
