Very Surprised that Indian won that. SA made some mistakes to be fair in the running between wickets, but bowled very well in the last overs.

But hats of to India, batted well too against one of the best bowling attacks in the world.

They needed this win after doing so badly in Australia.Shikhar Dhawan needed this innings real badly.

This World cup has lots of twists in store I think. Hopefully my windies can build on the last performance and demolish Zimbabwe. The thing with India though is that they will do VERY well demolishing everyone in the group stages but i just think that It will be like the T20 World cup where they bottle it when it counts.

^India under Dhoni actually level up when it counts. In the T20, they made it to the final and lost because Yuvraj had a bad game.

Chris Gayle back in form changes everything for the West Indies.

Highest partnership in ODI's so far with Samuels.

First 200 by a non Indian.

Amazing innings from Gayle, watched the last 50 or so balls, huge hitting.

Hope he can continue his good form against the better teams now.

Despite being an Aussie, I'm rooting for Ireland in the world cup. I love watching them play. Great match last night.

This WC I've become a huge fan of Afghanistan...the sheer effort is amazing. Favorite team now to watch (besides India of course).

Tonight will be a test for my windies. If we can put in a win against RSA then I think we have a good chance at this cup. Batting seems to be coming together Except for Dwayne Smith and Bowling wise we are doing better. Let us hope that when it matters we can overcome the rainbow nation.

Definitely rooting for the Windies tonight, hopefully Gayle's back holds up and he can give a great performance.

Watching Jerome Taylor I just realized that back in 2003 when I was first learning to bowl, I learned using the weird yet devastating bowling style/action he used back then. He's been in and out of the side so much I had forgotten about him.

Would still love to see some Steyn fireworks though. He's been lacking that 5th gear and wrist snap he always brings.

The one SA player I always dislike is Philander, so I'm glad to see he's not playing. Should be a great match if the team of X-factors that is the WI clicks together.

De Villiers cranked out another crazy innings.

It's sometimes crazy to imagine that SA smashed 400+ given they were around 150 at the 30th over mark. They piled on 250 in the last 20 overs, and of that 150 came in the last 10.

Big game tonight! Aus vs NZ. Who is everyone picking?

My pick in NZ but it will be interesting to see how this works on the small NZ ground.

Michael Clarke's return will be interesting. Whom do Australia drop?

2nd game is India vs UAE. Obviously not the greatest game, but it is an India game so I will watch .

They dropped Gorgeous George and kept Watson and Marsh!

I understand picking James Faulkner over an out of form George Bailey [or picking Faulkner over 99% of players in the international ODI game from any team] but with 3 front line fast bowlers in Johnson, Starc, and Cummins, and two [even 3] part time spin bowlers in Maxwell, Smith, and Clarke, why drop Bailey?

Drop Watson or Marsh, and keep an all out batter.

That's the difference between Australia and the Indian team under say Dhoni. Dhoni backs his boys, and look at Dhawan now.

Holder looked suicidal towards the end there. 95 runs from his last 5 overs after taking 1 wicket for 9 runs in his first 5. AB is a machine though, lovely to watch.

Australia v NZ now, Australia started well, but NZ is doing the business. Smith just gone now, 95-4. Australia have work to do here.

Hahahaha. Why would you send Maxwell and Marsh in before Haddin at 95/4 and in the 17th over?

+1 to the NZ planning and metal. I'm loving this.

God, I hate Australia's cricket team with a passion, especially because of their sledging. But man, I can't help but feel pity for them.

11 runs off the first ball. Should be a brutal finish.

The sledging is mostly exaggerated. We see the worst of it in the highlights, but it's not as bad as most people think.

Game's not over yet - Johnson is bowling a nice length.

David Warner punched an opposing team's player [Root] at a bar. That's bloody inexcusable in cricket.

No one in NZ cares because it isn't rugby.

Embarrassing loss for the Aussies.. I don't see them bouncing back from here. They will make the finals and probably the Semis, but that will be all.

This world cup is NZ's or South Africa's to lose.
