My Experience With American Women Today

I am currently visiting a part of the U.S. where the majority of the people are white. I have been greeting the women as I walk past them in public areas. Many of them timidly say "hello" back but many of them completely ignore me and look past me, not making any eye contact at all.

I wonder how many of them updated their Facebook or Tumblr pages later and said how some creepy guy harassed them by saying "hello" once.

During my time here I am finding the majority of white American women to be completely unfriendly and spoiled. The sad part is that some of other groups of women (such as Latinas) and starting to follow this path and acting like this. Not all of them do yet but many of them are starting to act like spoiled princesses, even some who were humble when they first immigrated here. I also said "hello" to one Black American woman and she said "what are you looking at?" in a masculine way, like if a man wants to fight another man.

The funny thing is that I also greeted men and there were friendly, and this was from all races of men. I even greeted some that looked like stereotypes (white trash, "gangsta blacks and Latinos", etc. and they were friendly back).

I don't think this has anything to do with American women.

Why don't you post a picture of yourself? then it would be easier for us to understand why it's happening.

Why does this not happen to me with women in other countries? I have only experienced this in the U.S.

Can you only interact with women in America if you look a certain way?

Women believe only they can deem what is acceptable or not.

I don't think this is specific to America. You were just saying "hello" to people and nothing else? That is a bit weird. If somebody I don't know greets me I automatically assume they're trying to sell me something or get something from me. I'm not sure what you expect.. I think it's universally considered a bit weird to randomly start greeting people for no reason. You should be more straight forward in why you're talking to strangers.

What other countries are you referring to specifically? And how does the average woman react in these "other" countries upon being greeted with a hello? Does she instantly act thirsty and hand you her number? What exactly do they do differently?

I have no idea but you also said you're "visiting".
I have spent extended time in many different countries and also various cities in the US.
In each place it's different.

In some US cities, people are very friendly and it would be rude to walk past people with a polite greeting. In more populous urban areas, it's flipped, it's strange and "off" if you walk around telling people "hello". I calibrate to which ever city I'm in.
In the current city I'm at, I walk by people almost every day who try to get my attention for one reason or another (almost always for nothing good).

I'm also guessing you're not in a place like Santa Barbara, a college town, where, depending on your vibe, you might get a better response.

Also...this is just my personal view...I'd drop the mass greeting stuff. Focus on just the women you want to meet and properly work on getting their number.

They are not friendly to 'YOU'

No matter whoever you are, you want them respond to you whenever, wherever you want to say 'Hello'
You don't have any common sense man.

By the way, you have an interesting ability to connect with stranger american men. (I can't do this. talking to women is a lot easier)
If they are that friendly to you, why don't you become friends with them and invite yourself to their hangouts to meet their american women?
