This started a few days ago when a new couple moved in next door. Unfortunately theirs and my bed are on opposite sides of the wall. The girl is quite loud and you can tell she is having a good time or at the very least good at acting like it. Suffice to say I do find her moaning arousing at times but frankly the sound of other people having that much fun is really impacting my game and outlook on life as I'm going through somewhat of a dry period. The fact that they do it at odd times like 5am is slightly bothersome but the psychological aspect is what's really bugging me.

My personal dilemma is do I focus on accepting the fact that its happening next door and ignore it, or should I actively try and stop them. The last resort of course being moving somewhere else.

This exact same thing happened to me once in the US and I was able to come up with an idea that fixed it. One day I knocked on their door and the dude answered. I said, "Hey, our bedrooms share a common wall and I sometimes make a lot of noise and I've noticed the walls are kind of thin. I'm really afraid that it might be bothering you guys or disrupting your sleep. If so, I'd like to apologize and will try to keep it down in the future." The guy laughed and said that they hadn't heard anything and everything was cool. After that I didn't hear anymore loud sex (or fighting) sounds from their bedroom.

I think it's very simple, just politely tap on their door several times each time they are going loud, just keep doing politely but solid door knocks -- in a saving face kind of way they will get the point, I can only be sure, as Asians usually do highly value peace... And they know that your polite knocks will eventually turn into kicks and then bombs left of their doorstop.

I thought Taiwan was more prudish than that. Just make your own noise. You make it harder than it has to be.
