Rich and Famous Men Still Get Played Volume III: The Terrence Howard Story

Terrence Howard is a famous Black actor, most people would probably be familiar with him from the movies Crash and Hustle and Flow.

Over the years, while taking a number of occasions to diss Black women, Terrence has been married four times to three different non-Black women.

First let's introduce the players, before we get to the game...

The Players

The First Wife:

[Image: 1413280449946_wps_75_Terrence_Howard_and_Lori_.jpg]

Terrence married a Jewish woman named Lori McMasters in 1989. They divorced in 2003, only to re-marry in 2005 and get divorced again in 2007. He and Lori have three children together.

The Second Wife:

Terrence married Michelle Ghent, a production assistant, in 2010. They were only married for one year before divorce proceedings began, which lasted another two years before the divorce was finally granted, mostly in his favor, even after she filed for a restraining order and made multiple claims of domestic violence in which she was the victim.

The Third Wife:

Terrence married his third wife, Miranda, last year after only one month of dating. She is currently pregnant with his fourth child.

The Game

Howard is a working, fairly big-time Hollywood actor. Yet he is fundamentally broke. ALL of his income goes to the first wife, Lori. She then cuts him a monthly check of whatever is left after her and their children's expenses are paid, which comes out to less than $6,000.

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment...-1.1882617

The second wife, Ghent, is angry because she is owed $500,000 in spousal support that Howard recently went to court and told a judge that he couldn't pay. Her anger has been taken up a notch as she recently found out that he's on a new Fox show, Empire, that pays him $125,000 per episode --- only three episodes have been filmed thus far.

https://www.tmz.com/2014/12/12/terrence-...l-support/

Meanwhile there's the third wife, Miranda, and a baby on board, and you already know where this is going to end up.

The Post-Game Wrap

Terrence Howard is the worst kind of simp. His Blackness no longer matters because he's reached a certain level of status in American society. He's rich and famous, so that affords him the opportunity of any type of woman that he may want -- that is to say no one is turning him down just because he's Black. The problem is, he doesn't see himself for what he is, a mark. He actually thinks women are getting with him for who he is, when what they are after is what they can extract from him. He's already been married, and he's already been a father, yet he keeps wifing up and having children with unproven women.

The only reason I bring up his disses towards Black women, is that it's fine if he's not into Black women for whatever reason, but it's the non-Black women that he's chosen to marry who are going to make sure they suck every last dime they can out of him. He's going to have work forever just to continue to pay these bitches. He's not only a simp, he's a slave. In the end, he will have nothing left. Maybe he will Robin Williams himself when he realizes the type of web he's entangled himself in.

Yours truly has no sympathy for him, are these women playing him? Of course, but at some point, when you allow women to identify you as a mark, and then extract shit from you to the point where your balls are in their hands, then you're playing yourself.

In the game of life, you're either the player or the person getting played. That's all there is.

It would be ironic if a Black woman wouldn't do half the shit his ex-wives did though.

They'd do the same to him.

Not because women are inherently evil, but he's too trusting. (and not smart enough to learn from his mistakes)

His business partners would probably (and have probably) do the same to him.

Wouldn't be surprised if his lawyers aren't as aggressive as they could/should be in terms of modifying the support orders.

He may have gotten it right with this Asian wife, but that might depend upon her background.

One thing is for sure, he kept fucking it up we before he made a more drastic change.

Black women are no different than the Jewish or that other woman he had. Black women are no more loyal than whites these days, the days of a strong and loyal black woman have been gone for some time now. Our Rejecting Black Women thread is long for a good reason.

All that said, I did some quick looking around on this Asian wife. She is a former model and is 36. I ain't gonna lie, that is a bad bitch for 36. That woman is aging very well.

[Image: article-2521990-1A04F54100000578-67_634x968.jpg]

She has a restaurant. So that means she has her own money probably. Maybe. Restaurants are rough to run. He also married after one month after dating and she had gotten pregnant. Middle aged Asian women get baby rabies really badly, especially if they rode the cock/career carousel too long, and their family and friends put enormous peer pressure on them.

Maybe she isn't trippin over his lack of spare funds because she has her own, but 4 marriages to figure that shit out? That's crazy. If you cannot figure it out in 2, maybe 3, you need to let that shit go. You cannot even say he married foreign either. This Asian lady went to NYU and from what I can tell is probably American all the way through.

This last one might work, but who knows.

If I were him I would stop dissing black women in public too. If he wants to keep making money in Hollywood he better keep his mouth shut about that shit.

I agree with you, my point is once dudes like Terrence get to a place where Black women aren't the only option, they act like other women are some type of sanctuary and they're not, a mark is a mark.

None of this guy's marriages have worked and he married this one after one month of dating, that's just not the recipe to a successful marriage, and even if that chick was a model, she wasn't a supermodel, so it's not like she'd be sitting on real bread from modeling. At this point, she's his wife more than she's a model/ex-model.

I forgot when he did it. Last time I read about if was a few years ago. Dissing any race or group of women is a horrible idea if you are in Hollywood. White women may not give 2 fucks about black women, but if they catch you hating on them, they can use that opportunity to flog your ass to prevent you from getting work.

Being a black actor also sucks in the sense that most roles you will get are "black roles". Most of them do not compete with white guys for the same exact role. In a lot of ways you need to be political about your blackness and never offend your base. Only Denzel could rightly insult a bunch of black people and probably get away with it. Even then that would be a horrible idea considering how they all swoon over him.

Anyone else risks the guillotine. The best and only protest against black women is to refuse to date them or marry them. That's it. Dave Chapelle, Reggie Bush, Cuba Gooding Jr., Tiki Barber, Hill Harper, etc. probably could tell you some ugly things about black women in private (well...maybe not Tiki he too positive), but they never will do that publicly because they respect and understand how they earn their bread.

Rich and Famous Men Still Get Played Volume III: The Terrence Howard Story

There's another interesting story about Howard that I think reveals a lot about his mindset.

He was cast for Iron Man 1 through 3. Robert Downey Jr. is not a big name at the time, and Terrence claims he's a big reason RDJ got the role.

While shooting, Howard is rumored to be such a huge pain in director Jon Favreau's ass, he goes from co-starring in the movie to having the majority of his scenes cut and being relegated to a relatively unimportant supporting role.

When the movie is a huge success, largely due to RDJ's amazing performance, Downey gets a massive raise for Iron Man 2, while Howard's pay stays the same.

Howard is pissed because he actually made more than RDJ in the original, and the original agreement with the studio called for him to get paid more in the sequels. But anyone who knows how movie deals work, they're not contractually obligated to pay him that rate, it's just an agreement to lock things in on his end. And obviously they're not going to pay him more now, when he was such a small part of the first movie's popularity.

So Howard walks.

And is immediately replaced by the higher profile and more professional Don Cheadle -- at the exact same price ($1 million). Cheadle then has an even larger role in Iron Man 3 and is also appearing in the second Avengers movie.

Meanwhile, Terrence is still bitter about all this years later, and bitches about it in interviews whenever he gets -- how Downey didn't call him back, etc. etc.

How much does Howard make per movie today? $60,000. He's struggling for work and is really hurting for money.

He passed up a $1 million pay day, a potentially huge boost to his name by appearing in such popular movies, and likely killed his chance of landing any big budget movie in the future, all for what? He cut off his nose just to spite his face, even though the contract issues all stemmed from his being difficult to work with in the first place.

I think that really reveals a lot about his psyche. You see that same lack of emotional control and ability or willingness to learn from his mistakes in his personal life, as well.

Spot on. A simp is still a simp. You can see it time after time in other Maonsphere sites or forums where dudes going after Filipino women and get scammed, hustled, ripped off all because they refuse to learn game and how to understand how women work. They try to take short cuts. Lazy work yields terrible results. What causes them to keep doing this is when a few lazy idiots go there and get a homerun without needing any game at all. They give off the wrong impression and it hurts other men around them that notice it.

Sometimes when I talk to various black guys, I will always come across a few that take notice of what I got and then say shit like, "Damn folk, you got that foreign?" "That's what's up." I plan to do the same thing myself. I want to go to Brazil/South America/Philippines. Black women are all fucked up!" Then I actually redirect that and try to figure out if he has any game. Usually they proceed to give me some take that all they basically have to do is just hop off the plane and just show up.

I usually try to stop them right there and break down the game and why it matters even outside the US. The reception is mixed. Maybe a third of them nod their head in agreement. The rest dismiss it because they think foreign = too easy. Those are the same ones that go to Brazil chasing the white and brown ones, get rejected, go do p4p, then go back home more pissed off than before they went.

Lately if I run into a guy like this, I now ask them where did they get the impression that they could just go snatch a foreign woman somewhere, in the first place with no game knowledge required. 1 guy knew dudes in the Army with Asians and another knew a guy that probably was a natural from his description, with a bad bitch from Brazil with a serious ass.

We all know most naturals dismiss PUA, techniques, most of self improvement, books, etc. and will tell people shit, glossing over all the details on how to do the small things correctly. Especially black guys that are stone cold naturals. The young men they influence, are more at risk, because you have to spend alot of time with Naturals in order to learn anything from them, and seeing something like an average black man with a hot foreign wife, does not mean he did zero work in setting that up.

Well said! I remembered that as well. He pitched a nigga fit over a supporting role in a blockbuster movie, for them to only go find an even better black man to play the role and lost more than just a pile of money, he took a major hit in his reputation.

^Robert Downey Jr is and has always been a bigger star than Terrence Howard.
Howard was reportedly earning more money than Downey in the first Iron Man, which doesn't sound right considering Downey was playing the lead role.

Being a movie "star" means you have a good job not good game.

No, he wasn't. People still knew who RDJ was because of his early career, but he was not a big name or commanding big paydays until after Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes in 2008 & 2009.

When Iron Man was cast, Howard was coming off best picture winner Crash, a best actor Oscar nomination for Hustle & Flow, etc. He was all over the place.

Downey was coming off a lot of smaller movies and tiny paydays, just trying to reestablish himself.

It's a fact. RDJ got $500,000 and Terrence Howard got $1 million for Iron Man 1. This has been confirmed by the actors themselves.

And like I mentioned, Howard's role in Iron Man 1 was supposed to be much bigger, but a majority of his screen time was cut.

I collected Iron Man as a kid. War Machine was always a minor character in the comics. War Machine got his own comic eventually but it was never very popular. No one expected the Iron man movie to be this hugely successful. As a result the lead guy naturally should get a pay boost. Role players have low bargaining power. CSI comes to mind. Few supporting roles can bargain hard or top the pay of a lead of something popular.

And to add to this, as I'm sure you and others with experience in Asia can attest to, the actual hot, upper to middle class girls require a lot of game once in a relationship.

It's worth it because the rewards are much higher than with a Western girl and you can be a little more "blue pill", but most of these girls will still walk all over a guy with no game.

Exactly.

Men truly have to be able differentiate between Famous wealthy Blue Pill men, who can get laid easily between Famous Wealthy Red Pill men with Game or just Famous Naturals with Game.

The famous Blue Pill guys can fuck 1000+ and as soon as they are in a marriage, they get fucked by the first woman that comes along. Howard would not be able to keep frame in a LTR with a black woman, obviously not a white woman and now he attempts it with an Asian one.

Even Naturals who have plenty of Game sometimes have no idea on how to deal with a woman long-term and fall into the same traps.

In any case there are no substitutes to Game and the Red Pill knowledge.

I want to hear more about those alimony payments that he's paying the first wife. If he really gives all of his money to her, and then she cuts him a check after then Terrance Howard is one goofy motherfucker. His ass needs to leave marriage alone for good. At this point I would tell him to just start tricking his money off directly, because the game has chewed him up and spit him out. I've never even heard of some shit like that before.

Marrying up a 36 year old asian-american former model from a girl power school (NYU) sounds like another one of many bad life decisions by Howard. I bet she caught the fame bug early because there's loads of actors, scriptwriters, and directors to be that come out of NYU. Star fucker red flag.

She's nice looking still but the best he can hope for is maybe 5 years of attractiveness before she hits the wall and he probably gets divorce raped again. Plus an asian-american woman with that profile is sure to be a serious ball buster.

He would have been better off going foreign.

Naw black entertainers dissing black women is a blunder if I ever saw one. We all know women are bigger consumers than men but it's even more extreme in the black community. Black women are the reason why Tyler Perry is a household name. I'm always shocked when guys like Tyrese who was eating solely off of black women at one point go at them on social media. I guess he feels untouchable cause he has Michael Bay money now.
