Hey guys bumble used to be my minimal effort go to app to secure dates. Recently I haven't had a single match in 3 week when I'd get at least 10 matches a week previously. Anyone experiencing the same thing? I've deleted and reinstalled the app and still no dice.

I think this is an app that might work better if you're running status game, such as posting a professional picture of yourself suited down with a profile that implies that you're busy doing important stuff and don't have much time for games. Reading the reviews of the app written by women, a lot of them complain that they'll message a cool-looking dude and not get a reply. That may account for the decline in women using the app. So, it could be that only the hotter women are getting replies.

I recently updated my picture to a more professional one and I got about 7-8 matches in 1 day. Three have messaged me but again after one message no reply. I think Bumble has a script that runs? Opinions?

This app, i.e. the idea of girls messaging you first, does not fucking work, and let's be honest it will never work. This is probably the worst app you can use if you want results.

I've tried this app in MInneapolis, NYC, and Boston. Absolute tons of hotties on here, very few ugly girls. Most are young professional college grad types. I swiped all day for three days and never ran out of girls to swipe on. Houston has a lot of hot girls on it but I ran out of girls to swipe on after a day.

What's happened here is that 100 women are all messaging 1 guy and ignoring the 99 other guys.

That one guy doesn't have time to respond to anything less than an 8.

I've also matched with women who have instagram accounts that I've checked out, and find they have semi-celebs and high roller guys "liking" their posts and photos.

This is one rare example that proves how women consistently over-estimate their own value in the dating/sexual/marriage marketplaces.

Every 5 thinks she deserves a 7.
Every 6 thinks she deserves an 8.

It's really only the 9's that have an accurate understanding of where they stand, but that's only because they are at the top of the food chain.
