It's assumed that this is just a service for local girls to get nailed by foreigners. Yes and no.

We met through Tinder, she matched with me on the basis of language exchange. But after 2 meetings she started acting weird and kept asking what I thought about her and do I see it as just language exchange.

I had a couple of other prospects at the time so I was mentally benefitting from abundance mentality and not really pursuing any of them aggressively, so I just played coy. In the end she got so caught up on her interest in me and my lack of showing interest back she started to get upset and I kissed her. We dated for a few months.

Bedding her still took a while because she was quite frigid, but I wanted a girl who had some sexual refrain anyway.

Yes of course. Language exchange was my primary method for copulating, in both China, Korea and Japan.

I've even done Chinese "language exchange" students in my own country.

I banged a lot in Hanoi, Vietnam and I discovered a pretty good method entirely by accident.

1. Sit on a bench in a park and read a book.
2. Group of girls approach to practice English.
3. Get numbers/FB of the hot ones.
4. Invite to coffee date.
5. Bounce to apartment.

It was so easy. I had more women than I could handle in Vietnam and I didn't do a single approach. I also learned a surprising amount of Vietnamese in a relatively short time period, got to see how the locals live, and met some pretty cool people (men and women). Overall, it was a fun experience for my first time leaving the country, but for more experienced travelers it might be a bit of a drag.

When I go back to Vietnam I'll do up a proper data sheet on banging language exchange partners.

How would you game a language exchange partner via a distance-dependant medium given that you mightn't actually see them in person for a few more months? I'm thinking of platforms such as CS and Italki where you'd correspond on it or would've moved the interaction via Skype, Whatsapp etc., but won't be in their part of the world, or vice versa, just yet.

I don't see how it is any different than a normal seduction.

In fact, probably a LOT easier. You already have a logical reason to keep meeting. Text game logistics on super easy mode.

Only reason I don't do it more often is I consider it online game and majority of my efforts are prioritized on F2F gaming.

Game the rich ones.

I’m not kidding. I’m learning russian now so I’m talking to girls on these platforms as well. I noticed that they are very willing to exchange numbers because they want to video call and “practice speaking” and they already have interest in you to begin with, considering that they are learning about your language/culture.

There are of course tons of average girls on the app but there are also girls from rich families learning English because they yearn to travel and are generally curious about dating a foreigner. The differences are these girls can actually afford to come and meet you in your city. They’re traveling all the time anyways. Take some really good shots of your city/culture and send them periodically to the girl to seed the idea of visiting you. When they have that emotional impulse to meet you halfway across the world, almost nothing will stop them.
